Objective:To assess the effects of a widely used antibiotic,oxytetracycline(OTC)on the bacterial microflora in two catfish species under artificial culture conditions in the ***:The experiment was conducted in the Faculty of Fisheries,Bangladesh Agricultural University,*** fish were reared in six aquaria(size 37 cm×30 cm×60 cm)where three aquaria served as replicates of the antibiotic treatment groups and the remaining three aquaria served as an untreated control *** aquarium was stocked with 25 fish on an average body weight 15 *** was administered to the fish in the treatment groups at the rate of 2 g/kg in-feed twice daily upto ad libitum,whereas fish in the untreated control groups were given the same feed without antibiotics for 20 *** the experiment,bacterial loads were estimated as colony forming unit(CFU/g)by every alternate day in the aquarium water,gills,skin and intestine of ***:The administration of OTC in feed resulted in gradual decrease of bacterial loads in the gills,intestine and skin of the two catfish species *** contrast,the bacterial loads remain unchanged or slightly increased in the control groups not fed with *** quality parameters such as dissolved oxygen,pH and total hardness were found to be within suitable range in the test aquaria but not in control aquarium throughout the experimental ***:The results of this experiment showed that in-feed antibiotic OTC for a period of 20d reduced the bacterial loads in the gills,intestines and skin of treated fish.

Background: The robustness is a measurement of an analytical chemical method and its ability to contain unaffected by little with deliberate variation of analytical chemical method parameters. The analytical chemical method variation parameters are based on pH variability of buffer solution of mobile phase, organic ratio composition changes, stationary phase (column) manufacture, brand name and lot number variation;flow rate variation and temperature variation of chromatographic system. The analytical chemical method for assay of Atropine Sulfate conducted for robustness evaluation. The typical variation considered for mobile phase organic ratio change, change of pH, change of temperature, change of flow rate, change of column etc. Purpose: The aim of this study is to develop a cost effective, short run time and robust analytical chemical method for the assay quantification of Atropine in Pharmaceutical Ophthalmic Solution. This will help to make analytical decisions quickly for research and development scientists as well as will help with quality control product release for patient consumption. This analytical method will help to meet the market demand through quick quality control test of Atropine Ophthalmic Solution and it is very easy for maintaining (GDP) good documentation practices within the shortest period of time. Method: HPLC method has been selected for developing superior method to Compendial method. Both the compendial HPLC method and developed HPLC method was run into the same HPLC system to prove the superiority of developed method. Sensitivity, precision, reproducibility, accuracy parameters were considered for superiority of method. Mobile phase ratio change, pH of buffer solution, change of stationary phase temperature, change of flow rate and change of column were taken into consideration for robustness study of the developed method. 太阳辐射是人类活动的重要能量来源。太阳能电池是现今最重要的清洁能源之一,光伏（PV）电池消耗功率小,在世界能源领域拥有极好的应用潜力,但现今使用范围并不广泛,与其高额的系统成本息息相关。本论文给出一种低成本的表面聚光器（SMC）的设计,以降低太阳能电池的高额成本。本论文对比多种形态的聚光器,选取一种性能相对较好的聚光器,将光伏电池的效率提高20%以上。通过理论计算和实际检测,选择SMC和PV电池之间合理间距,确保SMC和PV电池紧密接触以防止PV电池被灼烧损坏。菲涅耳透镜聚光器是用于高浓度的强力聚光器之一,菲涅耳透镜用于低成本硅光伏电池组件进行结合,但由于实验条件有限,本论文根据聚光器参数以及低成本硅光伏电池特性建立光学模型,并完成仿真测试。本论文将菲涅耳透镜的像差和PV电池之间距离作为变量,观察光线强度和热量的变化。寻求一种较为理想的距离,并将聚光器固定在此位置。本论文未来工作将放置四个扩展的太阳能电池以覆盖PV电池四周,以收集由透镜和PV电池产生的漫射和反射光。本论文根据填充因子（FF）的取值范围以及太阳高度的不同对PV电池效率的影响,分析了聚光器的光学和几何特性,以及由外部环境因素导致的太阳能吸收率与PV电池的S MC面板倾斜角度的关系。提出了一种自适应控制算法,实现了对PV电池的SMC面板倾角最优化控制。

Design and analysis of high birefringence and nonlinearity with small confinement loss photonic crystal fiber

High birefringence with low confinement loss photonic crystal fiber (PCF) has significant advantages in the field of sensing, dispersion compensation devices, nonlinear applications, and polarization filter. In this report, two different models of PCFs are presented and compared. Both the models contain five air holes rings with combination of circular and elliptical air holes arrangement. Moreover, the elliptical shaped air holes polarization and the third ring air holes rotational angle are varied. To examine different guiding characteristics, finite element method (FEM) with perfectly matched layer (PML) absorbing boundary condition is applied from 1.2 to 1.8 |im wavelength range. High birefringence, low confinement loss, high nonlinearity, and moderate disper-sion values are successfully achieved in both the PCFs models. Numeric analysis shows that model-1 gives higher birefringence (2.75 ×10^-2) and negative dispersion (-540.67 ps/(nm ·km)) at 1.55 |im wavelength. However, model-2 gives more small confinement loss than model-1 at the same wavelength. In addition, the proposed design demonstrates the variation of rotation angle has great impact to enhance guiding properties especially the birefringence.

Breeding Potential of Some Exotic Tomato Lines:A Combined Study of Morphological Variability,Genetic Divergence,and Association of Traits

Hydrogeochemical evaluation and statistical analysis of groundwater of Sylhet, north-eastern Bangladesh

To investigate the hydrogeochemical characteristics of groundwater 23 shallow, 30 intermediate and 38 deep wells samples were collected from Sylhet district of Bangladesh, and analyzed for temperature, pH, Eh, EC,DO, DOC, Na^+, K^+, Ca^(2+), Mg^(2+), Cl^-, SO_4^(2-), NO_3^-,HCO_3^-, SiO_2^-, Fe, Mn and As. Besides, 12 surface water samples from Surma and Kushiyara Rivers were also collected and analyzed to understand the influence into aquifers. Results revealed that, most of the groundwater samples are acidic in nature, and Na–HCO_3 is the dominant groundwater type. The mean value of temperature, EC,Na^+, K^+, Ca^(2+), Mg^(2+), Cl^-, NO_3^- and SO_4^(2-) were found within the range of permissible limits, while most of the samples exceeds the allowable limits of Fe, Mn and As concentrations. However, relatively higher concentration of Fe and Mn were found in deep water samples and reverse trend was found in case of As. The mean concentrations of As in shallow, intermediate and deep wells were 39.3, 25.3and 21.4 lg/L respectively, which varied from 0.03 to148 lg/L. From spatial distribution, it was found that Fe,Mn and As concentrations are high but patchy in northern,north-western, and south-western part of Sylhet region. The most influential geochemical process in study area were identified as silicate weathering, characterized by active cation exchange process and carbonate weathering, which thereby can enhance the elemental concentrations in groundwater. Pearson's correlation matrix, principal component analysis and cluster analysis were also employed to evaluate the controlling factors, and it was found that, both natural and anthropogenic sources were influencing the groundwater chemistry of the aquifers. However, surface water has no significant role to contaminate the aquifers,rather geogenic factors affecting the trace elemental contamination. Seed priming has proved to be an effective pre-germination seed invigoration technique for different crops to improve seed and seedling performance under different abiotic *** Bangladesh,winter rice is very often exposed to cold waves just after sowing in the nursery bed resulting in poor seed germination and seedling emergence,yellowish and thin seedlings production,and a very low survival *** priming may mitigate the cold stress during seed germination and seedling emergence and helps in the quality seedling production of winter *** evaluate the efficacy of different seed priming techniques in increasing seedling emergence,growth,vigor and survivability of winter rice cultivars under cold stress,a pot experiment was conducted at the Department of Agronomy,Bangladesh Agricultural University during December 2018 to January *** experiment comprised two factors,(A)Winter rice variety namely,(i)BRRI dhan29 and (ii)BRRI dhan36;(B)Seed priming agent namely (i)Control(no priming),(ii)20000 ppm NaCl,(iii)30000 ppm NaCl,(iv)20000 ppm KCl,(v)30000 ppm KCl,(vi)20000 ppm CaCl2,(vii)30000 ppm CaCl2,(viii)50 ppm CuSO4,(ix)75 ppm CuSO_(4),(x)10000 ppm ZnSO4,(xi)15000 ppm ZnSO4,(xii)2 ppm Na2MoO4,(xiii)3 ppm Na2MoO4,(xiv)100 ppm PEG(Polyethylene glycol 4000)and (xv)150 ppm *** were sown on two different dates viz.,1st December and 1st January so that seedlings are exposed to cold stress at different *** experiment was laid out in a completely randomized design(CRD)with three *** indicated that(in most of the cases)seed priming has a positive impact on seedling emergence rate(%),root length,shoot length,root shoot ratio,root dry weight,shoot dry weight,seedling dry weight and survival rate(%).Among the priming agents,KCl and CaCl2 performed best;while priming with NaCl and PEG showed no advantages over no priming for both the sowing *** general,BRRI dhan36 performed better than BRRI dhan29 in terms of seedling growth because

In this work, we will discuss Caristi’s fixed point theorem for mapping results introduced in the setting of normed spaces. This work is a generalization of the classical Caristi’s fixed point theorem. Also, Caristi’s type of fixed points theorem was partial discussed in Reich, Mizoguchi and Takahashi’s and Amini-Harandi’s results, we developed ideas that many known fixed point theorems can easily be derived from the Caristi theorem.
