Cardiovascular disease is one of many reverberating ailments that affect and kill hundreds of thousands of people around the world. To date treatments that offer improvement in the health condition of diseased people include the most promising nanomedicine although it is in its infancy, yet attaining attention from researchers of top notch day by day. In this current review importance is given on the application of nanomedicine in the diagnosis as well as treatment of cardiovascular disease.

This study examines how corporate board features and auditor characteristics in Bangladesh influence the disclosure of key audit matters(KAM)in annual reports from 2018 to *** ordinary least squares(OLS)regressions,the study finds that factors such as chair gender,the presence of women on the board,audit committee(AC)size,auditor tenure,and client-auditor relationship significantly affect KAM ***,AC expertise,family CEO succession,and board political connections do not have significant ***,having a family member CEO with a long-tenured auditor has a negative association with KAM disclosure,while a politically connected family CEO has a positive association with such ***,Big-4 auditors of important clients are negatively associated with KAM disclosure.

BACKGROUND:Bangladesh is situated in the intermediate prevalence region of hepatitis B virus (HBV).The lifetime risk of acquiring HBV infection in Bangladesh is greater than 40%.It has been estimated that this virus is responsible for 10%-35%cases of acute viral hepatitis,35.7%cases of fulminant hepatic failure, 33.3%-40.5%cases of chronic hepatitis and 46.8%cases of hepatocellular carcinoma in *** aim of this study is to compare the correlation between HBV DNA load and grade and stage of liver disease in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB). METHODS:Percutaneous liver biopsies done in 159 CHB patients revealed 62.9%(100 patients)had wild type HBV infection and the rest 37.1%(59)had pre-core/core promoter mutant HBV *** DNA load was measured using PCR in all patients. BACKGROUND:Acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF) is common in *** viral E hepatitis is sporadically encountered in this country each year,with a rising incidence in the rainy *** study aimed to identify the etiology of ACLF in Bangladesh. METHODS:In this retrospective study,69 ACLF patients were *** presented to our department at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in *** of diseases was recorded and appropriate investigations were conducted in all patients. RESULTS:Acute hepatitis E virus(HEV)infection was positive in 21.7%(15/69)of the patients,while 14.5% (10/69)had *** gastrointestinal tract hemorrhage was seen in 4.3%of the patients(3/69),while another 4.3%(3/69)had a positive history for alcohol or *** of the patients tested positive for hepatitis A virus infection and no evidence of hepatitis B virus flare was found in any *** specific cause for ACLF could be identified. CONCLUSIONS:Acute HEV infection is a leading cause of ACLF in *** patients were thought to have decompensation of cirrhosis,but subsequently were recognized as having ACLF by a retrospective review according to the definition of the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver Working Party Meeting on ACLF in New Delhi in early 2008.

Tree biomass plays a key role in sustainable management by providing different aspects of ecosystem. Estimation of above ground biomass by non-destructive means requires the dex;elopment of allometric equations. Most researchers used DBH （diameter at breast height） and TH （total height） to develop allometric equation for a tree. Very few spe- cies-specific allometric equations are currently available for shrubs to estimate of biomass from measured plant attributes. Therefore, we used some of readily measurable variables to develop allometric equations such as girth at collar-height （GcH） and height of girth measuring point （GMH） with total height （TH） for A. rotundifolia, a mangrove species of Sundarbans of Bangladesh, as it is too dwarf to take DBH and too ir- regular in base to take Girth at a fixed height. Linear, non-linear and logarithmic regression techniques were tried to determine the best re- gression model to estimate the above-ground biomass of stem, branch and leaf. A total of 186 regression equations were generated from the combination of independent variables. Best fit regression equations were determined by examining co-efficient of determination （R：）, co-efficient of variation （Cv）, mean-square of the error （Ms^r）, residual mean error （Rmax）, and F-value. Multiple linear regression models showed more efficient over other types of regression equation. The performance of regression equations was increased by inclusion of GMn as an independ- ent variable along with total height and GCH.

The cyclone tracks from 1877 to 2020 were analyzed to detect the spatial and temporal *** tracks were gathered from previously published *** previous articles’tracks were digitized and converted to shape files for analysis in Arc-GIS.A total 126 cyclone tracks were used to detect monthly and seasonal cyclone intensity and spatial *** fluctuations were examined over a 30-year period,which is believed to be the climate of a particular *** cyclones hit the Bay of Bengal’s coast starting in May and lasting until *** May and October,the number of cyclones is at its peak(26 nos in each month).From June through September,the number of cyclones *** October and November,the number of cyclones increased *** number of cyclones substantially fell in December,and no cyclones were observed from January through *** 1939 through 1969,the highest number of cyclones(36)was *** the mid-and latetwentieth century,there were a higher number of *** coastal region of Bangladesh suffered the fewest cyclones in history over the recent era(2001–2020).The western shore was particularly vulnerable from 1877 to 1907,and the entire coastal region was dangerous from 1908 to *** the Post-monsoon(October to December)season,the number of cyclones is lower than in the Monsoon period(May to September).In the pre-monsoon season,71 cyclones strike,while in the Monsoon season,53 cyclones strike.

Background:Education institutions promptly implemented a set of steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among international Chinese students,such as restrictive physical exercise,mask wear,daily health reporting,*** of such behavioral change campaigns largely depends on awareness building,satisfaction and trust on the *** purpose of this current study is to assess the preventive,supportive and awareness-building steps taken during the COVID-19 pandemic for international students in China,that will be useful for planning such a behavioral change campaign in the potential pandemic situation in other parts of the ***:We conducted an online-based e-questionnaire survey among 467 international students in China through *** data collection duration was from February 20,2020 to March 10,2020 and we focused on their level of awareness,satisfaction,and trust in authorities regarding pandemic *** bivariate statistics was used to describe the background characteristics of the respondents along with adoption of the partial least squares-structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM)as the final model to demonstrate the relationship between the ***:In our study,the leading group of the respondents were within 31 to 35 years’age group(39.82%),male(61.88%),living single(58.24%)and doctoral level students(39.8%).The preventive and supportive measures taken by students and/or provided by the respective institution or authorities were positively related to students’satisfaction and had an acceptable strength(β=0.611,t=9.679,p<0.001).The trust gained in authorities also showed an acceptable strength(β=0.381,t=5.653,p<0.001)with a positive ***,the personnel awareness building related to both students’satisfaction(β=0.295,t=2.719,p<0.001)and trust gain(β=0.131,t=1.986,p<0.05)in authorities had a positive and acceptable ***,our study clearly demonstrates the great impact of preventive and supportive measure
