Objective:To assess the effects of a widely used antibiotic,oxytetracycline(OTC)on the bacterial microflora in two catfish species under artificial culture conditions in the ***:The experiment was conducted in the Faculty of Fisheries,Bangladesh Agricultural University,*** fish were reared in six aquaria(size 37 cm×30 cm×60 cm)where three aquaria served as replicates of the antibiotic treatment groups and the remaining three aquaria served as an untreated control *** aquarium was stocked with 25 fish on an average body weight 15 *** was administered to the fish in the treatment groups at the rate of 2 g/kg in-feed twice daily upto ad libitum,whereas fish in the untreated control groups were given the same feed without antibiotics for 20 *** the experiment,bacterial loads were estimated as colony forming unit(CFU/g)by every alternate day in the aquarium water,gills,skin and intestine of ***:The administration of OTC in feed resulted in gradual decrease of bacterial loads in the gills,intestine and skin of the two catfish species *** contrast,the bacterial loads remain unchanged or slightly increased in the control groups not fed with *** quality parameters such as dissolved oxygen,pH and total hardness were found to be within suitable range in the test aquaria but not in control aquarium throughout the experimental ***:The results of this experiment showed that in-feed antibiotic OTC for a period of 20d reduced the bacterial loads in the gills,intestines and skin of treated fish.

Synthesizing polyol-based ester from biomass feedstocks for the preparation of biolubricant overcomes the dependence on petroleum oil *** biomass-derived bio-oil is an alternative for the production of polyol ester,upgrading is essential prior to use as *** acid(LA),obtained from bio-oil was applied for the catalytic esterification with two polyols,e.g.,trimethylolpropane(TMP)and pentaerythritol(PE),in the presence of mixed-ligand Ni(Ⅱ),Co(Ⅱ),and Fe(Ⅱ)complexes as *** mixed-ligand coordination complexes with empirical formula;[Ni(Phe)(Bpy)Cl].H2O,[Co(Phe)(Bpy)Cl].H2O,and[Fe(Phe)(Tyr)Cl].H2O were synthesized by the reaction of ligands[L-phenylalanine(Phe),4,4'-bipyridine(Bpy),and L-tyrosine(Tyr)]with metal chloride salts and characterized by elemental analysis,magnetic susceptibility,FTIR,TGA/DTA,powder-XRD,and SEM *** study aims to investigate the catalytic activities of the complexes via esterification reaction of levulinic acid with trimethylolpropane and *** addition,these catalysts were further employed for the in situ hydrogenation of levulinate esters via NaBH_(4) at room temperature upon ***,the iron(Ⅱ)complex was more potential,exhibiting its efficiency as a homogeneous catalyst for esterification-hydrogenation reaction for synthesizing ester-based oils.

Background: The robustness is a measurement of an analytical chemical method and its ability to contain unaffected by little with deliberate variation of analytical chemical method parameters. The analytical chemical method variation parameters are based on pH variability of buffer solution of mobile phase, organic ratio composition changes, stationary phase (column) manufacture, brand name and lot number variation;flow rate variation and temperature variation of chromatographic system. The analytical chemical method for assay of Atropine Sulfate conducted for robustness evaluation. The typical variation considered for mobile phase organic ratio change, change of pH, change of temperature, change of flow rate, change of column etc. Purpose: The aim of this study is to develop a cost effective, short run time and robust analytical chemical method for the assay quantification of Atropine in Pharmaceutical Ophthalmic Solution. This will help to make analytical decisions quickly for research and development scientists as well as will help with quality control product release for patient consumption. This analytical method will help to meet the market demand through quick quality control test of Atropine Ophthalmic Solution and it is very easy for maintaining (GDP) good documentation practices within the shortest period of time. Method: HPLC method has been selected for developing superior method to Compendial method. Both the compendial HPLC method and developed HPLC method was run into the same HPLC system to prove the superiority of developed method. Sensitivity, precision, reproducibility, accuracy parameters were considered for superiority of method. Mobile phase ratio change, pH of buffer solution, change of stationary phase temperature, change of flow rate and change of column were taken into consideration for robustness study of the developed method. Grass pea(Lathyrus sativus L.)is an imperative food crop cultured in dryland agricultural *** is a vital source of dietary protein to millions of populaces living in low-income countries in South-East Asia and *** study highlights the improvement of genomic properties and their application in marker-trait relationships for 17 yield-related characters in 400 grass pea genotypes from China and *** characters were assessed via 56 polymorphic markers using general linear model(GLM)(P+G+Q)and mixed linear model(MLM)(P+G+Q+K)in the tassel software based on the linkage disequilibrium and population structure *** structure analysis showed two major groups and one admixed group in the *** significant loci pairs of linkage disequilibrium(LD)mean value(D′)was 0.479.A total of 99 and 61 marker-trait associations in GLM and MLM models allied to the 17 traits were accepted at a 5%level of *** these markers,21 markers were associated with more than one trait;12 marker-trait associations passed the Bonferroni correction *** models found six markers C41936,C39067,C34100,C47146,C47638,and C43047 significantly associated with days to maturity,flower color,plant height,and seed per pod were detected in the Hebei and Liaoyang location(p≤0.01),and the interpretation rate(R^(2)value)11.2%to 43.6%.Conferring to the consequences,the association analysis methodology may operative system for quantitative,qualitative,and biochemical traits related to gene position mapping and support breeders in improving novel approaches for advancing the grass pea quality.

Composting presents a viable management solution for lignocellulose-rich municipal solid ***,our understanding about the microbial metabolic mechanisms involved in the biodegradation of lignocellulose,particularly in industrial-scale composting plants,remains *** study employed metaproteomics to compare the impact of upgrading from aerated static pile(ASP)to agitated bed(AB)systems on physicochemical parameters,lignocellulose biodegradation,and microbial metabolic pathways during largescale biowaste composting process,marking the first investigation of its *** degradation rates of lignocellulose including cellulose,hemicellulose,and lignin were significantly higher in AB(8.21%-32.54%,10.21%-39.41%,and 6.21%-26.78%)than those(5.72%-23.15%,7.01%-33.26%,and 4.79%-19.76%)in ASP at three thermal stages,*** AB system in comparison to ASP increased the carbohydrate-active enzymes(CAZymes)abundance and production of the three essential enzymes required for lignocellulose decomposition involving a mixture of bacteria and fungi(i.e.,Actinobacteria,Bacilli,Sordariomycetes and Eurotiomycetes).Conversely,ASP primarily produced exoglucanase andβ-glucosidase via fungi(i.e.,Ascomycota).Moreover,AB effectively mitigated microbial stress caused by acetic acid accumulation by regulating the key enzymes involved in acetate conversion,including acetyl-coenzyme A synthetase and acetate ***,the AB upgraded from ASP facilitated the lignocellulose degradation and fostered more diverse functional microbial communities in large-scale *** findings offer a valuable scientific basis to guide the engineering feasibility and environmental sustainability for large-scale industrial composting plants for treating lignocellulose-rich *** findings have important implications for establishing green sustainable development models(e.g.,a circular economy based onmaterial recovery)and for achieving sustainable development goals.

Multi-strain probiotics provide the most dependable approaches to improve health,immune response,and disease resistance in farmed *** the present study,we examined the effects of multi-species probiotics on the survival,growth,immune response,and disease resistance of rohu(Labeo rohita)*** hatched larvae from the day of first feeding(average weight of 0.003 g)were reared with multi-species probiotics having a combination of Bacillus subtilis(109 colony forming units(cfu)/mL)and Lactobacillus spp.(Lactobacillus plantarum,Lactobacillus buchneri-1011 cfu/mL)in water containing doses of 0(control-C),0.5 mL/L(treatment 1-T1),and 1.0 mL/L(treatment 2-T2)in triplicates for 90 *** the experiment,a challenge test was performed to assess the fish's resistance to pathogenic Aeromonas *** higher survival was recorded in larvae of treated groups(87%in T2 and 79%in T1)compared to the control(62%).Significantly higher growth performance(weight gain and specific growth rate—SGR)was shown by the probiotic-treated larval groups compared to the *** supplementation resulted in significantly higher counts of total viable colony(TVC)and lactic acid bacteria(LAB)in the *** immunological parameters(mucosal fold fattening,goblet cell abundance,expansion of lamina propria and enterocytes)of the gut were significantly better in probiotic-treated *** liver of treated fish showed irregular shape nuclei turning into regular shape and reducing spaces between the hepatic ***-treated fish had the highest post-challenge survival rate(90%)against *** *** erythrocytes of challenged fish treated with probiotics had significantly lower frequencies of various nuclear and cellular *** findings suggest that multi-species probiotic supplements could improve the survival,growth,health status,and immune response of rohu in the early stages of its development.

Seed priming is a pre-germinated technique that can enhance seed germination percentage,faster and synchro-nized germination,better seedling growth,and yield under stress *** ascertain the most effective seed priming method that would ensure the potential yield of wheat in Bangladesh,two experiments were carried out from December 2021 to March 2022 at the Department of Agronomy,Bangladesh Agricultural *** wheat varieties namely BARI Gom-28 and BWMRI Gom-1 were subjected to a range of priming chemicals in both lab and pot *** compounds included the following:control(no priming),hydropriming(distilled water),10000 ppm KNO_(3),15000 ppm KNO_(3),40000 ppm Mannitol,60000 ppm Mannitol,10000 ppm NaCl,20000 ppm NaCl,100 ppm PEG,150 ppm PEG,500 ppm NaOCl,1000 ppm NaOCl,10000 ppm CaCl_(2),20000 ppm CaCl_(2),10000 ppm KCl and 20000 ppm KCl.A complete randomized design(CRD)with three repli-cations was used to set up the *** results showed that BARI Gom-28 and BWMRI Gom-1 responded best to KCl priming in terms of rapid seed germination and strong seedling *** the other hand,the best priming agents for plant growth and productivity turned out to be CaCl_(2) and *** results of this study support the possibility of using seed priming as a technique to improve wheat plant development and output by raising seed emergence and survival rates.
