Evaluation of Information Technology Implementation for Business Goal Improvement under Process Functionality in Economic Development

Improving organizational performance can be achieved through business process redesign (BPR). When it comes to modern work practices, organizations must often redesign their processes to keep up. This is where enterprise software comes in, offering a common data infrastructure that enables different parts of the organization to access all necessary financial data. The architecture of network accounting business process is divided into three layers. The core layer lies in the enterprise LAN that it can integrate six business processes information into one unity of financial information and non-financial information, including purchasing, inventory, production, sales, finance and customer service, and it can generate flexibly a variety of accounting statements to meet fully the information users’ demands by providing more complete and more valuable related information. The second layer lies in Intranet among enterprises based on the core layer that it can support the link of business processes and the inter-sharing of information among node enterprises of SCM and other external enterprises. The third layer lies in Internet based on the second layer that it can fit society, enterprise and individual together, the specific lays the solid foundation of business collaboration, remote management, online management and centralized management. The operating mechanisms of the network accounting business processes are as follows. When the business event occurs, the probe can get the event information in real-time and the result is stored in the database. Meanwhile, the drive controller can control the business events in real-time by gaining control criteria and standards from database. In case the standard is exceeded, the event is not allowed to occur. Enterprise’ business staff or external personnel can output automatically the required results through report tools if they had the reading authority. Improvement of Dissolution Rate of Gliclazide Using Solid Dispersions with Aerosil 380 and Its Effect on Alloxan Induced Diabetic Rats

The main objective of this research is to conduct a comprehensive study for enhancing the aqueous solubility of poorly water soluble gliclazide using hydrophilic fumed silica particles (Aerosil®380) and evaluating the influence of silica on drug release profile and pharmacological activity on alloxan induced diabetic rats. Solid dispersions (SD’s) of gliclazide were prepared using solvent evaporation method. The dissolution profiles and solid state characterization of the SD’s prepared were all evaluated. The dissolution rate of gliclazide in the SD’s with fumed silica (weight ratio, 1:1) was approximately 38%, which is about 10 fold higher than that of the pure drug after 30 min. After forming the SD’s, gliclazide changed into an amorphous state, which can infer from differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD). Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) also revealed the formation of weak hydrogen bonding through the interactions between the secondary amine groups of gliclazide and silanol groups of silica particles in the SD’s. The rapid dissolution rate from the SD’s might be attributed to the amorphization of drug, improved specific surface area and wettability than the original drug crystals. Further, we investigated the antidiabetic effects of SD’s of gliclazide in alloxan induced diabetic rats. The SD’s of gliclazide decrease the blood glucose level 64% whereas the conventional gliclazide decreases only 37% in diabetic rats. Lipid profiles, kidney and liver functions are remarkably improved in diabetic rat treated with SD’s of gliclazide than that of conventional gliclazide. These results suggest that SD’s of gliclazide have much more bioavailability and hence are more pharmacologically active than that of conventional gliclazide form.

A multi-mechanistic approach to the oil recovery study of a family of amphiphilic polysaccharides

Chemical enhanced oil recovery(cEOR)remains one of the most potent tertiary recovery ***,it is expensive and rarely environmentally ***-based amphiphilic polymers have been suggested as an alternative to eradicating the challenges of conventional cEOR because of cost-effectiveness,and ***,few in-depth studies exist in the literature to investigate the prospects of these materials.A new family of amphiphilic polysaccharides was synthesized by hydrophobic modification of cellulose sulphate,and the EOR functionalities were *** novel biopolymers exhibited the ability to alter rock wetting *** terms of recovery,one of the variants of the synthesized bio amphiphilic polymer(D-I)was able to reduce residual oil saturation to 12%at harsh conditions of 60,000 ppm salinity at 75℃.Micromodel visual analysis revealed that the performance of the novel materials was due to the combination of mobility control,IFT lowering and emulsification,wettability alteration,and *** a performance commensurate to that of a commercial hydrophobically modified polymer,it can be said that the novel amphiphilic polysaccharides can stand as a viable cEOR agent for oilfield applications.

Organic Amendments Improve Plant Morpho-Physiology and Antioxidant Metabolism in Mitigating Drought Stress in Bread Wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)

Due to the unpredictable climate change,drought stress is being considered as one of the major threats to crop ***(Triticum aestivum *** Gom-26)being a dry season crop frequently faces scarcity of water and results in a lower ***,this experiment aims to explore the role of different organic amendments(OAs)in mitigating drought stress-induced *** pot experiment consisted of different organic amendments ***,vermicompost and poultry manure@0.09 kg m^(−2)soil,biochar@2.5%w/w soil and chitosan@1%w/w soil which was imposed on the plants grown under both well-watered and drought *** showed that drought stress reduced plant height(15%),SPAD value(16%),relative water content(13%),number of spikelet spike^(−1)(17%),number of grains spike^(−1)(12%),and 100-grain weight(18%).Organic amendments act as a protectant and reduce drought stress-induced damages by enhancing the morpho-physiological and yield *** enhanced SPAD value by 18%,number of spikelets spike^(−1)by 20%,number of grains spike^(−1)by 17%,whereas poultry manure increased plant height by 16%under drought condition compared to control *** other OAs applied,vermicompost was proved to be capable of reducing the higher lipid peroxidation and proline content raised by drought *** stress-induced increment of catalase,ascorbate peroxidase and glutathione reductase activities were also efficiently modulated by the organic amendment *** present study concluded that OAs play significant roles in alleviating drought stressinduced damages by improving the morpho-physiological attributes and among the different types of OAs used vermicompost performed better which in addition ceased the production of reactive oxygen species.

Economic dependence of rural people on homestead forestry in Mymensingh, Bangladesh

Homestead forests contribute substantially to the rural econ- omy of Bangladesh. Rural people depend on trees and plants for their energy usage, housing, food and other forms of subsistence livelihood. In order to identify the potential role of forests on homestead dwellers, an empirical field investigation was conducted in the four Upazilas of My- mensingh district of Bangladesh. It was found that land holdings of the respondents within the four sites are the highest in Mymensingh. The study made an important observation that among all homestead vegeta- tion between 5-6 years old, tree species are generally preferred over plants. This is perhaps due to the efforts of the social forestry extension service to demonstrate that planting trees is an important long-term in- vestment. In all four Upazilas, there was a significant correlation between household annual income and homestead forestry, agriculture and fisher- ies practice, suggesting that higher income families tend to have larger holdings of homesteads, farms and pond areas. Three Upazilas displayed a strong positive relationship （nearly 45%） between homestead forest areas and annual family income; however, the Fulbaria Upazila showed a very poor relationship （0.2%） in this regard. The results of this study suggest that homestead forests play a positive role in the rural economy, in addition to helping mitigate the increasing problem of deforestation in Bangladesh.

Malaria remains a major public health challenge *** is one of the world’s deadliest diseases,responsible for 627000 deaths worldwide in 2020 alone[1].In Malaysia,the Malaria Eradication Programme in Peninsular Malaysia and Malaysia Borneo in 1969 and 1967,respectively,drastically reduced the number of malaria cases in the country[2].Subsequently,the programme was further reinforced and improved,resulting in zero indigenous human malaria species in 2018[1].Currently,Malaysia has been identified as one of the World Health Organization(WHO)Western Pacific Region countries with zero indigenous cases for three consecutive years[1],thus eligible for the WHO certification of a malaria-free status country.

Comparison of Sternal Wound Complication after Off-Pump CABG between Skeletonized and Pedicled LIMA Harvesting: A Single Centre Experience in Bangladesh

Background: Off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCAB) is a surgical procedure that has gained popularity due to its potential benefits over traditional coronary artery bypass grafting, including reduced morbidity and mortality. However, sternal wound complication (SWC) remains challenging following the procedure. The technique of left internal mammary artery (LIMA) harvesting has been shown to impact the incidence of SWC. This study aimed to compare the incidence of SWC between two techniques of LIMA harvesting, i.e., skeletonized and pedicled. Methods: The study was conducted at the Department of Cardiac Surgery, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, and included 60 patients who underwent OPCAB. The patients were divided into two groups of 30 each based on the technique of LIMA harvesting used, i.e., skeletonized (group A) or pedicled (group B). The postoperative ICU care was given to each patient as per the protocol. The statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS version 26.0 for Windows software. Results: The results showed that 5 (8.33%) patients developed SWC, with 1 (1.67%) patient in group A and 4 (6.66%) patients in group B. However, the occurrence of SWC was not statistically significant between the two groups (p = 0.35). The mean age, gender distribution, and comorbidities such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, and anemia were also not statistically significant between the two groups. The number of smokers was statistically significant between the two groups (p = 0.03), and the occurrence of SWC was found to be higher in smoker patients in group B (p = 0.04). Preoperative and postoperative parameters such as duration of operation, duration of mechanical ventilation, duration of chest drains, duration of the central venous line, and amount of postoperative mediastinal bleeding were also not statistically significant between the two groups.
