Tin oxide (SnO2) thin films were deposited on glass substrate by Chemical Bath Deposition (CBD), Drop-Cast and Dip-Coating method. The thin films were post-annealed at 500°C for 2 hours. The structural, optical, and electrical properties of the SnO2 thin films were investigated by using XRD, FTIR, SEM, EDX, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and Electrometer experiment. The XRD patterns of SnO2 thin films deposited on glass substrate by CBD method, Drop-Cast method and Dip-Coating method showed cubic, tetragonal and amorphous structures respectively. The FTIR spectrum exhibited the strong presence of SnO2 with the characteristic vibrational mode of Sn-O-Sn. The SEM analysis was observed that the surface morphology of the thin films toughly depends on the deposition methods of the SnO2 thin films. EDX measurement confirmed that the thin films are the composition of Tin (Sn) and Oxygen (O2). The optical band gap of SnO2 thin films deposited by CBD method, Drop-Cast method and Dip-Coating method is found to be 3.12 eV, 3.14 eV and 3.16 eV respectively. Thin films deposited by Dip-Coating method showed the highest band gap. The electrical results confirmed that the SnO2 thin films are good conductors and pursued Ohm’s Law. These properties of the SnO2 thin films brand are appropriate for application in solar cell assembly, gas sensor devices and transparent electrodes of panel displays.

Trace metal contamination in soil is of great concern owing to its long persistence in the environment and toxicity to humans and other *** of six potentially toxic trace metals,Cr,Ni,Cu,As,Cd,and Pb,in urban soils were measured in Dhaka City,*** from different land-use types,namely,agricultural field,park,playground,petrol station,metal workshop,brick field,burning sites,disposal sites of household waste,garment waste,electronic waste,and tannery wast,and construction waste demolishing sites,were *** concentration ranges of Cr,Ni,Cu,As,Pb,and Cd in soils were 2.4–1258,8.3–1044,9.7–823,8.7–277,1.8–80,and 13–842 mg kg^-1,*** concentrations of metals were subsequently used to establish hazard quotients(HQs)for the adult *** metal HQs decreased in the order of As>Cr>Pb>Cd>Ni>*** was the most vital exposure pathway of studied metals from soils followed by dermal contact and *** range of pollution load index(PLI)was 0.96–17,indicating severe contamination of soil by trace *** the comprehensive potential ecological risk(PER),soils from all land-use types showed considerable to very high ecological *** findings of this study revealed that in the urban area studied,soils of some land-use types were severely contaminated with trace ***,it is suggested that more attention should be paid to the potential health risks to the local inhabitants and ecological risk to the surrounding ecosystems.

This research aims to identify the morphological changes of the Padma River due to the effects of anthropogenic climate change. The morphological changes were measured by aerial satellite images and their historical comparison, terrestrial survey, sedimentation in the riverbed, water flow, water discharge, siltation, and erosion along the river, etc. The Padma River has been analyzed over the period from 1971 to 2020 using multi-temporal Landsat images and long-term water flow data. The climatic parameters data related to temperature and rainfall were collected from 21 metrological stations distributed throughout Bangladesh over a 50-year period (1965-2015) to evaluate the magnitude of these changes statistically and spatially. The Padma, traditionally considered as a dominantly meandering river, is switching over into a braided river due to its highly susceptible nature of erosion and deposition. Results reveal that the tidal range is high during the dry season and increases from upstream to downstream of the river. Climate change may bring changes upstream by changing rainfall intensity, flood severity, and extreme temperature. More inundation can occur due to sedimentation, and more bank erosion can occur at the same time. An exponential increase of morphological activity with increased river flow, water discharge, bank erosion might substantially increase in the future. The changes in the flow introduced by climate change would impact the morphology of the Padma River of Bangladesh during the monsoon. A major change has been observed in the location of the bank and channel, as well as bars, along with their geometry and morphology over time. It is also observed that the bank line is not stable and migrated continuously. The overall width of the Padma River is varied significantly during the last 50 years. Effects of fertilizer management practices on leaf yield and quality of mulberry plant are important for sustainable mulberry plant *** study was undertaken to improve the growth,yield and biochemical contents in an instant available form in mulberry plant through different fertilizer management *** were four fertilizer management practices like control(CT),basal(BS),urea+magic growth(UM)and basal+urea+magic growth(BUM)were applied on mulberry plant(Morus SPP.).Results of this investigation revealed that among the various fertilizer treatments on the foliar application of(3 g urea+3 mL magic growth)per liter water with BSRTI recommended BS of NPK performed well in respect of growth parameters and biochemical *** highest 10 leaf area(638.64 cm^(2)),leaf number per branch(50),total leaf weight per plant(785.64 g),node per meter(28.67),specific leaf weight(0.005817 g/cm^(2)),length of longest shoot(173.25 cm)and total leaf yield per hectare per year(41610 kg)were noticed in BUM treatment followed by UM,BS and CT *** the highest moisture(74.38%),moisture retention capacity(33.31%),total mineral(12.10%),total sugar(3.99%),reducing sugar(4.05%),crude protein(21.01%),starch(9.72%)and soluble carbohydrate(11.41%)were also recorded in BUM treatment as compare to UM,BS and CT *** outcome of research implies that among the four fertilizer management practices foliar spray of(3 g urea+3 mL magic growth)per liter water with BSRTI recommended BS dose of NPK performed well and successfully augments the productivity and biochemical constituents of mulberry plant.

Transportation of products from sources to destinations with minimal total cost plays an important role in logistics and supply chain management. In this article, a new and effective algorithm is introduced for finding an initial basic feasible solution of a balanced transportation problem. Number of numerical illustration is introduced and optimality of the result is also checked. Comparison of findings obtained by the new heuristic and the existing heuristics show that the method presented herein gives a better result.

This article presents a comparative analysis of the properties of cotton yarn spun on aerodynamic compact spinning and open-end rotor spinning systems. Yarn samples with a linear density of 50 Tex, 37 Tex, 30 Tex, 25 Tex, and 20 Tex were spun both on the aerodynamic compact and rotor spinning systems using the same finisher drawn sliver of medium staple cotton which were produced by a specific mixing. The quality parameters such as mass variation, imperfection index, hairiness, and tensile behavior (strength in count strength product, elongation percentage) of the yarn samples were assessed and analyzed. The results revealed that aerodynamic compact spun yarn had a lower unevenness and mass variation, a higher imperfection in case of a finer count, less hairiness, higher tensile strength, and lower elongation% compared to the open-end rotor spun yarn samples. Finally, paired- samples t-test and regression analysis were carried out by using IBM SPSS 25 to check the significance of yarn quality parameters and correlation among them.

In this paper, we study the continuous growth of computer technology and the increasing importance of human-computer interaction. Interactive touch-less is now an undergoing developing technology in real life. Touchless technology introduces a new way of interacting with computers by object tracking method. Nowadays most mobile devices are using touchscreen technology. However, this technology is still not cheap enough to be used in desktop systems. Designing a touchless device such as a mouse or keyboard using a webcam and computer vision techniques can be an alternative way of touch screen technology. Recent trends in technology aim to build highly interactive and easy-to-use applications as a replacement for conventional devices. Such a device is touchless mouse. Its development is completed on the MATLAB platform. The overall objective is to apply image processing techniques from video to track the movement of color which is captured by a webcam and that is converted into mouse movements and operations to control the system. The sub-system which is implemented here would allow a person to control his/her mouse without any input other than the marker movements. We use three fingers (with color) as three color markers (red, green, blue) for completing the activities of a mouse. My first goal was to successfully track the marker color and the second goal was to track the marker position from the acquired image frame for performing the mouse operations. The webcam is used to capture the information on the marker and trigger the associated actions. I use ***. Robot file for performing the mouse operations using the acquired data from the image frame.

Particle swarm optimization(PSO) and invasive weed optimization(IWO) algorithms are used for extracting the modeling parameters of materials useful for optics and photonics research community. These two bio-inspired algorithms are used here for the first time in this particular field to the best of our knowledge. The algorithms are used for modeling graphene oxide and the performances of the two are compared. Two objective functions are used for different boundary values. Root mean square(RMS) deviation is determined and compared.

To find out the effect of planting methods on the yield and yield attributes of short duration Aman rice varieties, a field trial was conducted at the farm of Bangladesh Rice Research Institute, Gazipur, during July to November 2012. The treatments comprised of three BRRI released high yielding varieties viz., BRRI dhan39, BRRI dhan49 and BRRI dhan57 and three planting methods viz., direct seeding of dry seed, direct seeding of sprouted seed and transplanting. It was a factorial experiment conducted in a Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Planting methods had a significant effect on the growth duration of rice. The rice crop established with direct seeding of the dry and sprouted seed matured 7 days earlier than transplanting. The variety BRRI dhan39 gave the highest yield (4.964 t·ha-1) when grown with direct seeding of sprouted seed compared to other varieties. The highest net return (23362.00 BDT ha-1) and cost benefit ratio (1:1.49) were observed in direct seeding of the sprouted seed method. So, direct seeding of sprouted seed might be the best planting method because about 19.94% production cost is reduced due to the omission of seedling raising and transplanting operations as well as the reduction in the length of the crop cultivation period.
