CAR T Cell Immunotherapy That Revolutionary Breakthrough in Human Oncology Treatment: A Review

The discovery of CAR T cell immunotherapy, also known as chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell immunotherapy, has added a new dimension to the world of cancer treatment. This is a gene-based treatment in which T cells from the patient’s body are taken and genetically engineered in the lab to grow receptors. T cells containing this receptor are then injected into the patient’s body to bind to the antigen on the surface area of the cancer cell and kill the cancer cell. Structurally, the co-stimulatory domain added to CAR T cells has now reached the 5th GEN of chimeric antigen receptor T cells. Chimeric antigen T cell immunotherapy is the first FDA-approved treatment for hematological malignancies that is both safe and effective. However, due to some challenges such as a lack of safety control, an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, ineffective T cell trafficking, and so on, CAR-T immunotherapy treatment for solid malignancy is still in the clinical phase. In the result and discussion, we have presented a survey of CAR T cell therapy with a combination of pharmacological drugs. The things we mentioned are that CAR T cell immunotherapy is innovative, suitable, elegant, and also controls synergistic anti-cancer effects. A better understanding of combinatory CAR T cell therapies provides fundamental information for improvement of those therapies, in addition to the article highlighting future opportunities, commercial advancements, and various applications of CAR T cell therapy in different cancer cells. In the entire review article, we have highlighted the neck and crop of CAR T cell therapy, from which it is easy to understand the therapy and the need for this therapy in cancer prevention and its progress.

The case studies are about atypical bilateral, postoperative Cystoid Macular Edema (CME) in two patients who underwent bilateral uncomplicated pha- coemulsification surgery with a trifocal Intraocular Lens (IOL). In postoperative follow-up, both the cases presented with complaints of bilateral blurring of vision. Irvine-Gass syndrome has been diagnosed after evaluation of the retina by fundoscopy and OCT macula. Posterior subtenon steroid injection has been prescribed and given. Regular OCT examinations indicated substantial ede- ma improvement. Subsequent improvement in visual acuity was also noted in both cases. Cystoid macular edema can happen in any case irrespective of the quality of IOL. The visual outcome is satisfactorily responsive towards steroid medication.

River water and sediment embody environmental characteristics that give valuable eco-environmental *** to rapid industrialization,the aquatic environment of any urban river can be seriously polluted by heavy metals(HMs).The global concern is caused by heavy metal pollution because of its potential harm to aquatic ecosystems and human *** the Bhairab River,Bangladesh,surface sediment concentrations of globally alarming toxic metals such as arsenic(As),chromium(Cr),cadmium(Cd),and lead(Pb) were measured to determine the ecological and human health risks of the riverine *** average As,Cr,Cd,and Pb concentrations in water were 3.55,31.74,1.44,and23.82 μg/L,respectively,and in sediment were 4.13,34.17,1.66,and 25.46 mg/kg,*** the winter,metals in sediment were higher than during the *** most sediment samples,the enrichment factor(EF),contamination factor(CF),geoaccumulation index(I),pollution load index(PLI) of As,Cr,Cd,and Pb indicated moderate *** potential ecological risk(PER) in sediment followed the descending order of Cd> As> Pb> *** contamination level of toxic metals implied that the condition is frightening and probably severely affecting the aquatic ecology of this riverine ecosystem.

Analysis of Proteotranscriptomics Landscape Reveals Differentially Regulated Pathways in Toxoplasma gondii Infected Mouse Liver

Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii) an intracellular protozoan parasite, infects mammals including human population world-wide. Upon primary infection, the parasite contributes to mild flu like symptoms in immune competent host, but life threatening complication is seen in immune compromised patients and in pregnant women. Understanding the host-parasite interaction is critical for understanding the pathogenesis and biology parasite reactivation in the host. In this study, we used proteotrasncriptomics analyses by integrating the transcriptomics and proteomics data of T. gondii infected mouse liver to uncover the effector molecules responsible for disease pathogenesis that can be used as candidate markers for diagnosis and drug target. With this aim, we systematically integrated transcriptomicand proteomic data, representing the parasite infected mouse liver. Out of 2758 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and 301 differentially expressed proteins (DEPs), 159 overlapping genes were identified. Among them, 86 genes were upregulated and 72 were downregulated in their respective mRNA and protein levels in the infected condition. Gene Ontology (GO) analysis revealed that the upregulated genes were mostly associated with immune system processes whereas the downregulated genes were involved in oxidation-reduction process and metabolism of lipid, and fatty acids. Protein-protein interaction (PPI) network analysis uncovered an interaction-hub including, Psmb8, Psmb9 and Tap1 for upregulated proteins and Cyp1A2, Cyp4A10 and Cyp3A11 for down-regulated proteins. Further studies are needed to validating these effector molecules. These molecules are likely to play a vital role in disease pathogenesis, as well as can be used as potential diagnostic marker and drug target candidates.

In this paper,a unit cell of a single-negative metamaterial structure loaded with a meander line and defected ground structure(DGS)is investigated as the principle radiating element of an *** unit cell antenna causes even or odd mode resonances similar to the unit cell structure depending on the orientation of the microstrip feed used to excite the unit ***,the orientation which gives low-frequency resonance is considered *** unit cell antenna is then loaded with a meander line which is parallel to the split bearing side and connects the other two sides orthogonal to the split bearing *** modified structure excites another mode of resonance at high frequency when a meander line defect is loaded on the metallic ground *** parameters of the meander line structure,the DGS shape,and the unit cell are optimized to place these two resonances at different frequencies with proper frequency intervals to enhance the ***,the feed is placed in an offset position for better impedance matching without affecting the bandwidth The compact dimension of the antenna is 0.25λL×0.23λL×0.02λL,whereλL is the free space wavelength with respect to the center frequency of the impedance *** proposed antenna is fabricated and *** results reveal that the modified design gives monopole like radiation patterns which achieves a fractional operating bandwidth of 26.6%,from 3.26 to 4.26 GHz for|S11|<−10 dB and a pick gain of 1.26 dBi is *** addition,the simulated and measured crosspolarization levels are both less than−15 dB in the horizontal plane.

Braking Performance of a Biomimetic Squid-Like Underwater Robot

In this study, the braking performance of the undulating fin propulsion system ofa biomimetic squid-like underwater robot was investigated through free run experiment and simulation of the quasi-steady mathematical model. The quasi-steady equa- tions of motion were solved using the measured and calculated hydrodynamic forces and compared with free-run test results. Various braking strategies were tested and discussed in terms of stopping ability and the forces acting on the stopping stage. The stopping performance of the undulating fin propulsion system turned out to be excellent considering the short stopping time and short stopping distance. This is because of the large negative thrust produced by progressive wave in opposite direction. It was confirmed that the undulating fin propulsion system can effectively perform braking even in complex underwater explorations.

Nutrient dynamics associated with leaf litter decomposition of three agroforestry tree species (Azadirachta indica, Dalbergia sissoo, and Melia azedarach) of Bangladesh

Azadirachta indica A. Juss, Dalbergia, sissoo Roxb., and Melia azedarach L. are little studied species in nutrient return capabilities from leaf litter decomposition to maintenance of the soil fertility despite their importance in agroforestry practices of Bangladesh. A leaf litter decomposition experiment was conducted using a litterbag teeh7 nique to assess the nutrient reaun efficiency of these species. The de- composition rate of leaf litter was highest for M. azedarach and lowest for D. sissoo. Rainfall and temperature of study sites showed a significant （p〈0.05） positive relationship with the rate of leaf litter decomposition. The highest decay constant was observed for M. azedarach （6.67）. Nitrogen and Phosphorus concentration in leaf litter showed a decreased trend sharply at the end of the first month, whereas rapid decrease of Potassium concentration was reported within 10 days. Conversely, higher concentration of nutrient was observed at the later stages of decomposition. All three species showed a similar pattern of nutrient release （K 〉 N 〉 P） during the decomposition process of leaf litter. Among the studied species, D. sissoo was best in terms of N and P return and A. indica was best in terms of K return.

Can picnic influence floral diversity and vitality of trees in Bhawal National Park of Bangladesh?

We examined the impact of picnic activities on forest diversity, structure, regeneration and vitality of tree species in the Bhawal National Park of Bangladesh. The study area was classified as a non-used, occasionally used and frequently used area on the basis of the intensity of the picnic activities. A total of 43 plant species were enumerated in the whole study area. The highest plant species richness （41 species） was observed in the non-used area whereas the lowest species richness （11 species） in the frequently used area. The diversity index decreased with the increase of picnic intensity whereas the concentration of dominance increased. Density of all plant groups except mature trees, and the basal area of the mature trees showed a declining trend from the non-used to frequently used area. The frequently used area exhibited very poor regeneration. Tree vitality decreased with the increase of picnic intensity. The relevance of our study as a basis for further research to determine the impact of tourism on biodiversity in Bangladesh is discussed.

Identification and Evaluation of Vitamin D Levels in Urban Children & Adolescents in Dhaka City, Bangladesh through a Cross Sectional Study

Background: Vitamin D plays a pivotal role in supporting the immune system, helping to reduce the risk of infections and certain autoimmune diseases. Adequate vitamin D levels may be associated with a reduced risk of certain health conditions like pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, and postpartum depression. Brittle bones, osteoporosis in the elderly, and osteomalacia in young children are all symptoms of vitamin D insufficiency. Additionally, it contributes to problems linked to gum disease, including an increase in dental cavities, alveolar bone loss around the teeth, and other problems. It could lead to depression, tiredness, and a loss of appetite. In this study, urban children and adolescents in Dhaka city, Bangladesh are examined for vitamin D deficiency, insufficiency, and sufficiency. Methods: The Study was a cross-sectional study conducted under Dhaka National Medical College and Hospital, Dhaka and additionally included two other health centers Medinova Medical Services and Monoara General Hospital Service Golap bag, Dhaka from October 2020 to November 2021. The study location was at the 3 (Three) different hospitals which was located in Dhaka City. In this cross-sectional study, Participants will be selected purposively and conveniently based on the age categories from 0 - 19 years of age at the outdoor department of the hospital. The study included the secondary dataset of ambulatory individuals who came to the 3 (three) hospitals, randomly to evaluate serum vitamin D levels on referral from a general out-patient-department (OPD). They were examined for laboratory findings of serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D levels to determine vitamin D deficiency, insufficiency, and sufficiency among children and adolescent groups of both male and female Sex. Results: A total of 6394 individuals with a diverse age group were statistically examined for laboratory findings of serum vitamin D levels.
