Morphological and Genetical Variability among Rhizoctonia solani Isolates Causing Sheath Blight Disease of Rice

Eighteen isolates of Rhizoctonia solani collected from infected rice plants in four different locations of Bangladesh were studied by using morphological characters and molecular markers. Anastomosis study with a reference isolate confirmed that all the isolates belonged to R. solani. Significant variation was observed in sclerotial size, shape and distribution. Un-weighted pair group method with arithmetic mean dendrogram constructed based on the Gower＇s general similarity coefficient showed that these isolates were grouped into four clusters at the 0.68 similarity coefficent according to morphological characters. Cluster I was a major cluster consisting of 13 isolates, while clusters Ⅱ to Ⅳ consisted of 1 or 2 isolates. Analyses by variable number of tandem repeat and amplified fragment length polymorphism markers showed that the isolates were grouped into five and three clusters at a similarity coefficient of 0.64 and 0.69, respectively. Although most of the variability was found between isolates from different regions as expected, significant variation was observed within the isolates collected from similar agro-ecological regions. Our results suggest the presence of different races of R. solani within the same local geographic regions.

In the past few years,Time Series Analysis and Prediction based on the Echo State Network（ESN）has gently grief the attention of researchers at home and abroad,which become a central research issue with relevant theoretical and application-related *** State Networks is one of the most efficient types of Recurrent Neural Networks（RNN）.However,they are often present of cluster data,making the process of finding and efficient ESN for specific datasets quite *** our current study,preferring a novel Recurrent Neural Network – Echo State Network to predict the next Stock Market Closing Price between a defined time series based on prior Statistical *** the stock price movements,in this research also propose the Mackey-Glass system to determine how different global parameters optimize training in the echo state *** on the chaos in financial time series data has led us to another understanding of the distribution of relative stock prices over *** doing research found that Lorentzian and Voigt profile distribution is a good model that can be used to explain the representatives of substantial gains and losses thick tail but did not disclose this in a typical Gaussian *** distributions serve as an untrained stochastic model for the prediction based on historical price changes in the S＆P 500 index and the training of the Echo State Network of *** experimental results and output indicate that ESN with Mackey-Glass System demonstrates efficient results compared with different methodologies.

Automatic Assessment and Prediction of the Resilience of Utility Poles Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Computer Vision Techniques

The utility poles of electric power distribution lines are very vulnerable to many natural hazards, while power outages due to pole failures can lead to adverse economic and social consequences. Utility companies,therefore, need to monitor the conditions of poles regularly and predict their future conditions accurately and promptly to operate the distribution system continuously and *** article presents a novel pole monitoring method that uses state-of-the-art deep learning and computer vision methods to meet the need. The proposed method automatically captures the current pole inclination angles using an unmanned aerial vehicle. The method calculates the bending moment exerted on the poles due to wind and gravitational forces, as well as cable weight, to compare it with the moment of rupture. The method also includes a machine learning-based model that is built by using a support vector machine to predict the resilience conditions of a pole after a wind event in a faster manner. The three modules of the proposed method are effective tools to classify pole conditions and are expected to enable utility companies to increase the resilience of their systems.

Determinants of emergency contraceptive pill use in Bangladesh: An analysis of national survey data

Objective:To examine the determinants of emergency contraceptive pill use in ***:Data for this cross-sectional study came from 2017-2018 Bangladesh Demographic and Health *** of 906 reproductive age women who were potential candidates for using emergency contraceptive pill were analysed in this *** were analysed using univariate and multivariate *** binary logistic regression was employed as multivariate ***:Only 10.9%candidates were found to ever use emergency contraceptive *** odds of using emergency contraceptive pill for women visited by family planning field worker was significantly higher than that for those who were not visited by family planning field worker[odds ratio(OR)1.94;95%confidence interval(CI)1.19–3.17;P=0.008],while the odds of using emergency contraceptive pill for women with high socioeconomic status was higher than that for those with low socioeconomic status(OR 3.10;95%CI 1.61–5.97;P=0.001).Additionally,having some media access was linked to an increase in the odds of using emergency contraceptive pill(OR 3.01;95%CI 1.33–6.83;P=0.008).Women empowerment related factors did not show any significant effect on emergency contraceptive pill ***:The findings indicate that family planning programme has a great opportunity of playing an important role in increasing emergency contraceptive pill use in Bangladesh by increasing the knowledge and awareness of women about emergency contraceptive pill.

Objective:This study is designed to evaluate the microbiological safety concern of drinking water of the 50 schools of Chattogram city,Bangladesh,and to investigate the sanitation and hygiene conditions of the schools,which are directly related to the health of thousands of ***:In this study,pour plate method used for total viable count(TVC),most probable number(MPN)method used for the total coliform count(TCC)and fecal coliform count(FCC),and four selective media used to isolate pathogenic bacteria from drinking water samples,and then identified by using morphological,cultural,and biochemical *** investigate the water,sanitation,and hygiene conditions a structured questionnaire was ***:A total of 46% samples were found above the acceptable limit(>500 CFU/ml)for TVC count,52%sam-ples had coliform,and 28% samples had fecal coliform,which exceeded the WHO guideline *** categorized 50 studied schools into five groups and found the highest TVC(67%)and TCC(83%)in the water samples of city corporation ***,Salmonella,Shigella,Enterobacter,Citrobacter,Klebsiella,and Yersinia were isolated and identified from drinking water *** most schools,drinking water reservoirs were found impure and contaminated by various *** government primary schools,a toilet is used by 143 students,whereas in pri-vate English medium schools,a toilet is used by 30 students and found ***-washing soap was supplied in only 14% of government primary schools,but 100% in private English medium ***:Our findings suggest that drinking water in most of the schools was found contaminated by *** hygiene,sanitation,and contaminated drinking water seem responsible for different kinds of ***-over,this study indicates the necessity for raising awareness about drinking water,hygiene,and sanitation facil-ities of schools,which should monitor at regular intervals.

Drilling mud is a major concerning element due to its high operational and economic impact on the drilling *** additives are introduced to enhance the efficiency of drilling fluid,but none of them could perfectly achieve their proposed efficacy in drilling *** conceived several nanoparticles(NPs)in drilling fluid to dissolve this *** a singular instance,commercial tin oxide(SnO_(2))nanoparticles were utilized to analyze the influence of NPs on the rheological and filtration properties of inorganic KCl salt-based drilling ***,the effect of SnO_(2) NPs on mud lubricity characteristics is not studied ***,due to the hazardous behavior of KCl,its use is very ***,we consider a KCl-free bentonite water-based mud to avoid any environmental damages from drilling *** also use SnO_(2) NPs that is synthesized in our laboratory by co-precipitation *** addition to rheological and filtration properties,we also investigate the effect of NPs on mud's lubricity that was not considered in the previous *** fluid properties are measured at five different NPs concentrations of 0.10,0.25,0.50,0.75&1.0 wt%,and at six different temperatures of 30,40,50,60,70,and 80°C,while filtration properties are measured using API low-pressure low temperature(LPLT)*** addition of 0.1 wt%SnO_(2) NPs increases plastic viscosity,yield point,10 s gel strength,and 10 min gel strength by 10%,63%,20%,and 14%,*** maximum reduction in lubricity coefficient is found to be 14%at NPs concentration of 1.0 wt%.The NPs concentration of 0.5 wt%yielded a reduction in fluid loss and mud cake thickness by 8.1%and 34%,*** study suggests that SnO_(2) NPs can be employed as an additive to improve the rheology,lubricity,and filtration properties of KCl-free bentonite water-based drilling mud.

The deterioration of drilling fluid properties during deep drilling causes problems like inefficient cutting removal,fluid invasion,and shale swelling,which increases non-productive time(NPT)and *** nanoparticles(NPs)based drilling fluid are introduced to address these impediments since these particles prove their advantages in different stages of petroleum exploration and *** developments are concerned with the use of commercial zinc oxide(ZnO)NPs in inorganic KCl salt-based drilling fluid,although application of KCl in drilling fluid arouses environmental *** this study,ZnO NPs prepared in the laboratory are used in water-based drilling fluid(WBDF)to assess the effect of nanoparticles on the properties of drilling fluid at two temperature conditions of 40C and 80C.A base mud is formulated,and ZnO NPs with five different concentrations of 0.05,0.1,0.5,1.0,and 2.0 wt%are mixed with the base *** experimental analysis shows that NPs improve the rheological properties of *** the concentration of NPs was 0.1 wt%,the yield point increased by 61.54%at 40C,and when the concentration of NPs was 0.05 wt%,the yield point increased by 60%at 80***,when the concentration of NPs is 0.05 wt%,10-sec gel strengths are enhanced by 25%and 50%at 40C and 80C,*** API low-pressure low-temperature(LPLT)filter volume is not significantly affected by the addition of NPs in ***,mud cake thickness continuously reduces with the increase of NPs *** result reveals that a superior rheological improvement is achieved at low NPs concentration(0.05 wt%)at higher temperature.
