目的探讨中国大陆株日本血吸虫磷酸丙糖异构酶-热激蛋白(SjCTPI-Hsp70)dNA疫苗联合佐剂白细胞介素-12(IL-12)质粒dNA对水牛的免疫保护作用。方法实验采用双盲法,所用疫苗及制剂均在实验结束后解码。将购自非血吸虫病流行区45头8～10月龄健康水牛随机分为A组(SjCTPI-Hsp70+IL-12,300μg)、B组(SjCTPI+IL-12,300μg)和C组(空质粒pVAX+IL-12,300μg)等3组(每组15头),每头牛分别经肩部肌肉注射免疫3次,每次间隔28d。末次免疫后28d,每头牛经大腿内侧皮肤感染日本血吸虫尾蚴1000条。解剖前2d及当天分别收集粪便1次,用定量法计数虫卵和毛蚴。攻击感染后56d解剖,用生理盐水经胸主动脉灌冲法收集、计数成虫,检测每克肝组织虫卵数。结果A、B组减虫率分别为51.2%和41.5%(χ2=1.89,P>0.05),减雌虫率分别为48.9%和44.7%(χ2=0.35,P>0.05),减粪卵率分别为52.1%和38.3%(χ2=3.84,P<0.05),减毛蚴率为52.1%和33.2%(χ2=7.30,P<0.01)及减肝卵率为61.5%和42.0%(χ2=7.61,P<0.01)。结论用SjCTPI-Hsp70+IL-12免疫水牛可获得一定的免疫保护性作用。

context: Evidence suggests that physical activity may be related to the clinic al expression of dementia. Whether the association includes low intensity activ ity such as walking is not known. Objective: To examine the association between walking and future risk of dementia in older men. design: Prospective cohort stu dy. Setting and Participants: distance walked per day was assessed from 1991 to 1993 in 2257 physically capable men aged 71 to 93 years in the Honolulu Asia Ag ing Study. Fol low up for incident dementia was based on neurological assessme nt at 2 repeat examinations (1994-1996 and 1997-1999). Main Outcome Measures: Overall dementia, Alzheimer disease, and vascular dementia. Results: during the course of follow up, 158 cases of dementia were identified (15.6/1000 person y ears). After adjusting for age, men who walked the least ( d) experi enced a 1.8 fold excess risk of dementia compared with those who walked more th an 2 mile/d (17.8 vs 10.3/1000 person years; relative hazard [RH], 1.77; 95% co nfidenceinterval [CI], 1.04-3.01). compared with men who walked the most ( > 2 mile/d), an excess risk of dementia was alsoobserved in those who walked 0.25 to 1 mile/d (17.6 vs 10.3/1000 person years; RH, 1.71; 95%CI, 1.02-2.86). These associations persisted after accounting for other factors, including the possib ility that limited amounts of walking could be the result of a decline in physic al function due to preclinical dementia. conclusions: Findings suggest that walk ing is associated with a reduced risk of dementia. Promoting active lifestyles i n physically capable men could help late life cognitive function.

Objective: To differentiate between primary and secondary bilateral synchrony( PBS and SBS, respectively) in generalized spike-and-wave discharges (GSWd),we applied independent component analysis (ICA) to GSWd, and analyzed the character istic patterns of independent components. Methods: EEGs from 19 patients with GS Wd (9 PBS patients, 10 SBS patients)were studied. Thirty GSWd epochs were selected and concatenated to construct an EEG datamatrix that was subjected to ICA. Se lected independent components were localized by mapping them on a spherical mode l of the head by means of brain electrical source analysis (BESA) to define dipo le ***: Epileptic components of GSWd were clearly separated by the I CA algorithm in all patients. Between one and three components per patient were responsible for GSWd. In PBS patients, 70.6%of the independent components had d ipole sources within the dorsolateral frontal region, and 56.5%of the independe nt components in SBS patients were within the medial frontal region (P=0.012). T he orientation of all of the independent components in PBS patients was radial, whereas 47.8%of the independent components in SBS patients were tangential;this difference was statistically significant (P=0.001). conclusions:Spatiotemporal decomposition of GSWd by using ICA might be helpful for differentiating SBS from PBS. Significance: The localization of the dipole sources of the independent co mponents may provide insight into the pathophysiological origins of GSWd.

The Circular Electron Positron collider(CEPC)is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by China,fostered through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 30 GeV Linac,a 1.1 GeV damping Ring,a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and a collider operating at varying energy modes(Z,W,H,and tt).The Linac and damping Ring are situated on the surface,while the subterranean Booster and collider are housed in a 100 km circumference underground tunnel,strategically accommodating future expansion with provisions for a potential Super Proton Proton collider(SPPC).The CEPC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline design with synchrotron radiation(SR)power of 30 MW per beam,it can achieve a luminosity of 5×10^(34)cm^(-2)s^(-1)per interaction point(IP),resulting in an integrated luminosity of 13 ab^(-1)for two IPs over a decade,producing 2.6 million Higgs *** the SR power to 50 MW per beam expands the CEPC's capability to generate 4.3 million Higgs bosons,facilitating precise measurements of Higgs coupling at sub-percent levels,exceeding the precision expected from the HL-LHC by an order of *** Technical design Report(TdR)follows the Preliminary conceptual design Report(Pre-CdR,2015)and the conceptual design Report(CdR,2018),comprehensively detailing the machine's layout,performance metrics,physical design and analysis,technical systems design,R&d and prototyping efforts,and associated civil engineering ***,it includes a cost estimate and a preliminary construction timeline,establishing a framework for forthcoming engineering design phase and site selection *** is anticipated to begin around 2027-2028,pending government approval,with an estimated duration of 8 *** commencement of experiments and data collection could potentially be initiated in the mid-2030s.
