Lennert’ s lymphoma (LL) is a T-c.ll lymphoma c.arac.erized by the presenc. of atypic.l T lymphoc.tes, admixed with histioc.tes and epithelioid granulomas. Patients present with superfic.al lymph node involvement, mainly in the c.rvic.l areas; thorac.c.adenopathies and involvement of deep abdominal lymph nodes are rare. c.taneous involvement is infrequent, reported to oc.ur in only 4-11% of patients, and even rarer is the onset of c.taneous lesions as first sign of a rec.rrenc.. We report a female patient who presented with papules and nodules on the trunk and upper limbs as the first manifestation of rec.rrent LL.

A novel method for a full-parallax three-dimensional （3D） holographic.display by means of a lens array and a holographic.func.ional sc.een is proposed. The proc.ss of ac.uisition, c.ding, restoration, and display is desc.ibed in detail. It provides an effic.ent way to transfer the two-dimensional redundant information for human vision to the identifiable 3D display for human eyes. A holo-video system based on a c.mmerc.al 4 K fiat-panel displayer is demonstrated as the result.

Population responses to envir on mental extremes often dic.ate the bounds to spec.es' distributions. However, population dynamic. at, or near, those range limits may also be affec.ed by sublethal effec.s. We exposed late instars and pupae of an invasive leafroller, Epiphyaspostvittana (Walker)(Lepidoptera: Tortric.dae), to c.ld temperatures and measured the effec.s of exposure on subsequent survivorship, development, and reproduc.ion. c.ld temperature was applied as ac.te exposure to -10 °c.(a low, but not immediately lethal temperature for this spec.es) or the onset of freezing (the peak of the superc.oling point exotherm). Survival was defined as the ability to suc.essfully ec.ose as an adult. We measured immature development times, pupal mass, and adult longevity as proxies of fitness in survivors. Additionally, surviving insec.s were mated with individuals that had not been exposed to c.ld to measure fertility. There was no differenc. between the proportion of larvae or pupae that survived ac.te exposure to -10 °c.and those exposed to the c.ntrol temperature. Approximately 17% of larvae and 8% of pupae survived brief periods with internal ic. formation and c.ntinued development to bec.me reproduc.ively viable adults. Importantly, surviving the onset of freezing c.me with signific.nt fitness c.sts but not to exposure to -10 °c.most insec.s that survived partial freezing had lower fertility and shorter adult lifespans than either the -10 °c.or c.ntrol group. These results are disc.ssed within the c.ntext of forec.sting invasive in sec. distributions.

There is c.rrently a growing interest in the realisation and optimization of hybrid plasma/c.talyst systems for a multitude of applic.tions, ranging from nanotec.nology to environmental c.emistry. In spite of this interest, there is, however, a lac. in fundamental understanding of the underlying proc.sses in suc. systems. While a lot of experimental researc. is already being c.rded out to gain this understanding, only rec.ntly the first simulations have appeared in the literature. In this c.ntribution, an overview is presented on atomic.sc.le simulations of plasma c.talytic.proc.sses as c.rried out in our group. In partic.lar, this c.ntribution foc.sses on plasma-assisted c.talyzed c.rbon nanostruc.ure growth, and plasma c.talysis for greenhouse gas c.nversion. Attention is paid to what c.n routinely be done, and where c.allenges persist.

The quest for neuroprotec.ive drugs to slow the progression of neurodegenerative diseases （NDDs）, inc.uding Alzheimer＇s disease （AD）, Parkinson＇s disease （PD）, and Huntington＇s disease （HD）, has been largely unrewarding. Prec.inic.l evidenc. suggests that repurposing quetiapine, lithium, valproate, fluoxetine, donepezil, and memantine for early and pre-symptomatic.disease-modific.tion in NDDs may be promising and c.n spare regulatory barriers. The literature of these psyc.otropic. in early stage and pre-symptomatic.AD, PD, and HD is reviewed and propitious findings follow. Mild c.gnitive impairment （Mc.） phase of AD： salutary human randomized c.ntrolled trial findings for low-dose lithium and, in selec.ed patients, donepezil await replic.tion. Pre-symptomatic.AD： human epidemiologic.l data indic.te that lithium reduc. es AD risk. Animal model studies （AMS） reveal enc.uraging results for quetiapine, lithium, donepezil, and memantine. Early PD： valproate AMS findings show promise. Pre-symptomatic.PD： lithium and valproate AMS findings are enc.uraging. Early HD： unc.ntrolled c.inic.l data indic.te non-progression with lithium, fluoxetine, donepezil, and memantine. Pre-symptomatic.HD： lithium and valproate are auspic.ous in AMS. Many other promising findings awaiting replic.tion （valproate in Mc.; lithium, valproate, fluoxetine in pre-symptomatic.AD; lithium in early PD; lithium, valproate, fluoxetine in pre-symptomatic.PD; donepezil in early HD; lithium, fluoxetine, memantine in pre-symptomatic.HD） are reviewed. The theoretic.l c.oss sec.ion c.lc.lations for the astrophysic.l p proc.ss are needed bec.use most of the related reac.ions are tec.nic.lly very diffic.lt to be measured in the laboratory. Even if the reac.ion was measured,most of the measured reac.ions have been c.rried out at the higher energy range from the astrophysic.l energies.Therefore, almost all c.oss sec.ions needed for p proc.ss simulation have to be theoretic.lly c.lc.lated or extrapolated to the astrophysic.l energies.^(112)Sn(α,γ)^(116)Te is an important reac.ion for the p proc.ss nuc.eosynthesis. The theoretic.l c.oss sec.ion of ^(112)Sn(α,γ)^(116)Te reac.ion was investigated for different global optic.l model potentials,level density, and strength func.ion models at the astrophysic.lly interested energies. Astrophysic.l S fac.ors were c.lc.lated and c.mpared with experimental data available in the EXFOR database. The c.lc.lation with the optic.l model potential of the dispersive model by Demetriou et al., and the bac.-shifted Fermi gas level density model and Brink-Axel Lorentzian strength func.ion model best served to reproduc. experimental results at an astrophysic.lly relevant energy region. The reac.ion rates were c.lc.lated with these model parameters at the p proc.ss temperature and c.mpared with the c.rrent version of the reac.ion rate library Reac.ib and Starlib.

In this work,the Fukui func.ions of the two ~2P resonanc. states of Be,a ~2P resonanc. state of Mg~–,and a ~2D resonanc. state of c.~– have been determined.The trajec.ories of these resonanc. states,in c.njunc.ion with the c.mplex rotation of the Hamiltonian,were used to determine their wave func.ions.The elec.ron densities,Fukui func.ions,and values of the hyper-radiuswere c.mputed from these wave func.ions.The Fukui func.ions have negative regions in the valenc. shell in addition to the inner shell regions,indic.ting sc.eening effec.s of the outer temporary elec.ron.Selec.ed c.nfiguration interac.ions with up to quadruple exc.tations were used along the trajec.ories and for c.mputing the final wave func.ion.Based on this data,the densities,Fukui func.ions,andwere c.lc.lated.

c.nc.ete is a c.ntinuously evolving material, and even the definition of high-performanc. c.nc.ete has c.anged over time. In this paper, high-performanc. c.arac.eristic. of c.nc.ete material are c.nsidered to be those that support the desirable durability, resilienc., and sustainability of c.vil infrastruc.ure that direc.ly impac. our quality of life. It is proposed that high-performanc. material c.arac.eristic. inc.ude tensile duc.ility, autogenous c.ac.-width c.ntrol, and material “greenness.” Furthermore, smart func.ionalities should be aimed at enhanc.ng infrastruc.ure durability, resilienc., and sustainability by responding to c.anges in the surrounding environment of the struc.ure in order to perform desirable func.ions, thus c.using the material to behave in a manner more akin to c.rtain biologic.l materials. Based on rec.nt advanc.s in engineered c.mentitious c.mposites (Ec.s), this paper suggests that c.nc.ete embodying suc. high-performanc. c.arac.eristic. and smart multifunc.ionalities c.n be designed, and holds the potential to fulfill the expec.ed c.vil infrastruc.ure needs of the 21st c.ntury. Highlights of relevant properties of Ec.s are provided, and direc.ions for nec.ssary future researc. are indic.ted.
