Recent advancements of the intelligent transportation system(ITS)provide an effective way of improving the overall efficiency of the energy management strategy(EMSs)for autonomous vehicles(AVs).The use of AVs possesses many advantages such as congestion control,accident prevention,and ***,energy management and traffic flow prediction(TFP)still remains a challenging problem in *** complexity and uncertainties of driving situations adequately affect the outcome of the designed *** this view,this paper presents novel sustainable energy management with traffic flow prediction strategy(SEM-TPS)for *** SEM-TPS technique applies type II fuzzy logic system(T2FLS)energy management scheme to accomplish the desired engine torque based on distinct *** addition,the membership functions of the T2FLS scheme are chosen optimally using the barnacles mating optimizer(BMO).For accurate TFP,the bidirectional gated recurrent neural network(Bi-GRNN)model is used in AVs.A comprehensive experimental validation process is performed and the results are inspected with respect to several evaluation *** experimental outcomes highlighted the supreme performance of the SEM-TPS technique over the recent state of art approaches.

Human fall detection(FD)acts as an important part in creating sensor based alarm system,enabling physical therapists to minimize the effect of fall events and save human ***,elderly people suffer from several diseases,and fall action is a common situation which can occur at any *** this view,this paper presents an Improved Archimedes Optimization Algorithm with Deep Learning Empowered Fall Detection(IAOA-DLFD)model to identify the fall/non-fall *** proposed IAOA-DLFD technique comprises different levels of pre-processing to improve the input image ***,the IAOA with Capsule Network based feature extractor is derived to produce an optimal set of feature *** addition,the IAOA uses to significantly boost the overall FD performance by optimal choice of CapsNet ***,radial basis function(RBF)network is applied for determining the proper class labels of the test *** showcase the enhanced performance of the IAOA-DLFD technique,a wide range of experiments are executed and the outcomes stated the enhanced detection outcome of the IAOA-DLFD approach over the recent methods with the accuracy of 0.997.

The developments of multi-core systems(MCS)have considerably improved the existing technologies in thefield of computer *** MCS comprises several processors that are heterogeneous for resource capacities,working environments,topologies,and so *** existing multi-core technology unlocks additional research opportunities for energy minimization by the use of effective task *** the same time,the task scheduling process is yet to be explored in the multi-core *** paper presents a new hybrid genetic algorithm(GA)with a krill herd(KH)based energy-efficient scheduling techni-que for multi-core systems(GAKH-SMCS).The goal of the GAKH-SMCS tech-nique is to derive scheduling tasks in such a way to achieve faster completion time and minimum energy *** GAKH-SMCS model involves a multi-objectivefitness function using four parameters such as makespan,processor utilization,speedup,and energy consumption to schedule tasks *** performance of the GAKH-SMCS model has been validated against two datasets namely random dataset and benchmark *** experimental outcome ensured the effectiveness of the GAKH-SMCS model interms of makespan,pro-cessor utilization,speedup,and energy *** overall simulation results depicted that the presented GAKH-SMCS model achieves energy effi-ciency by optimal task scheduling process in MCS.

Recently,cyber physical system(CPS)has gained significant attention which mainly depends upon an effective collaboration with computation and physical *** greatly interrelated and united characteristics of CPS resulting in the development of cyber physical energy systems(CPES).At the same time,the rising ubiquity of wireless sensor networks(WSN)in several application areas makes it a vital part of the design of *** security and energy efficiency are the major challenging issues in CPES,this study offers an energy aware secure cyber physical systems with clustered wireless sensor networks using metaheuristic algorithms(EASCPSMA).The presented EASCPS-MA technique intends to attain lower energy utilization via clustering and security using intrusion *** EASCPSMA technique encompasses two main stages namely improved fruit fly optimization algorithm(IFFOA)based clustering and optimal deep stacked autoencoder(OSAE)based intrusion ***,the optimal selection of stacked autoencoder(SAE)parameters takes place using root mean square propagation(RMSProp)*** extensive performance validation of the EASCPS-MA technique takes place and the results are inspected under varying *** simulation results reported the improved effectiveness of the EASCPS-MA technique over other recent approaches interms of several measures.

Due to the wide range of applications,Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN)are increased in day to day life and becomes *** has marked its importance in both practical and research *** is the most significant resource,the important challenge in WSN is to extend its *** energy reduction is a key to extend the network’s *** of sensor nodes is one of the well-known and proved methods for achieving scalable and energy conserving *** this paper,an energy efficient protocol is proposed using metaheuristic Echo location-based BAT algorithm(ECHO-BAT).ECHO-BAT works in two *** Stage clusters the sensor nodes and identifies tentativeCluster Head(CH)along with the entropy value using BAT *** second stage aims to find the nodes if any,with high residual energy within each *** will be replaced by the member node with high residual energy with an objective to choose the CH with high energy to prolong the network’s *** performance of the proposed work is compared with Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy(LEACH),Power-Efficient Zoning Clustering Algorithm(PEZCA)and Chaotic Firefly Algorithm CH(CFACH)in terms of lifetime of network,death of first nodes,death of 125th node,death of the last node,network throughput and execution *** results show that ECHO-BAT outperforms the other methods in all the considered *** overall delivery ratio has also significantly optimized and improved by approximately 8%,proving the proposed approach to be an energy efficient WSN.

Investigating the Role of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plants(BNPPs)in Line with Achieving the Perspective of Sustainable Energy Development in Iran

In line with achieving the outlook of Sustainable Energy Development(SED),Iran intends to increase the share of clean power to at least 8%of the country’s capacity by the end of *** research aims to investigate the role and share of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plants(BNPP-1,2,3)in achieving the SED perspective of Iran,which has never been examined so *** this connection,the comparative analyses of various power plants(PPs)of Iran including nuclear,fossil fuel,biomass,wind,solar thermal,photovoltaic,geothermal,and hydro PPs are carried out and *** main indicators of SED such as Levelized Cost of Electricity(LCOE)metric,grid-level system cost,investment cost,external cost,average CO_(2) equivalent emission,ecosystem impact,required land area,required water,preservation of natural resources,human health,created jobs,international cooperation,social acceptance and Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR),and energy-water hub are thoroughly *** statistical data used in the present study are extracted based on the authors’experiences gained during the construction,operation and maintenance(O&M)of BNPP-1,the energy-environment balance sheets of Iran,as well as the design documents of ***,the gathered data are evaluated using MatLab programing language and analyzed in terms of comparative *** evaluations of BNPP-1 performance within the framework of SED indicate that BNPP-1 has little effect on ecosystems and is among the lowest greenhouse gases emitters compared to other Iran’s PPs so that it annually prevent the release of 0.7 million tonnes of carbon,SO_(x),and NO_(x) compared to a gas-fired ***,the cost analysis shows that the external cost of BNPP-1 is nearly zero and the grid-level cost is approximately 3 USD/(MW·h)which is much lower than that for renewable *** per the LCOE metric and the cost of fuel supply,BNPP-1 is cost-competitive with other Iran’s *** nuclear fuel cost of BNPP-1 is nearly 49 million USD per

Efcient Iterative Solutions to General Coupled Matrix Equations

Linear matrix equations are encountered in many systems and control *** this paper,we consider the general coupled matrix equations（including the generalized coupled Sylvester matrix equations as a special case）l t=1EstYtFst = Gs,s = 1,2,···,l over the generalized reflexive matrix group（Y1,Y2,···,Yl）.We derive an efcient gradient-iterative（GI） algorithm for fnding the generalized reflexive solution group of the general coupled matrix *** analysis indicates that the algorithm always converges to the generalized reflexive solution group for any initial generalized reflexive matrix group（Y1（1）,Y2（1）,···,Yl（1））.Finally,numerical results are presented to test and illustrate the performance of the algorithm in terms of convergence,accuracy as well as the efciency.

Three Dimensional Numerical Analysis of Flow within an Isolated Rotor with Stepped Blades

Every compressor works in a limited operational range. Surge as one of the sources of this limitation has been studied for many years. In this research, an isolated blade row of compressor rotor is numerically modeled and solved. In order to improve operational limit and postpone the surge occurrence, a stepped blade of RAF6E with higher stall angle of attack is used to investigate the near stall flow behavior. In this study, several location of step on blades are tried and the results are compared with the case with no step on blades. It is shown that, as the step moves toward the leading edge of blades, the effect of delay on surge is reduced and even efficiency is also decreased significantly. By moving the step towards the trailing edge, surge is delayed due to the reattachment of flow after the step. Efficiency is also decreased but not in the order of the previous case.

Abstract Instead of the invariant theory approach employed by Beloshapka and Mamai for constructing the moduli spaces of Beloshapka＇s universal Cauchy-Riemann （CR） models, we consider two alternative approaches borrowed from the theories of equivalence problem and Lie symmetries, each of which having its own advan- tages. Also the moduli space M（1, 4） associated to the class of universal CR models of CR dimension 1 and codimension 4 is computed by means of the presented methods.

Efficiency-based Pareto Optimization of Building Energy Consumption and Thermal Comfort:A Case Study of a Residential Building in Bushehr,Iran
