Water infiltration into soil is an important process in hydrologic cycle;however,its measurement is difficult,time-consuming and *** and physical models have been developed to predict cumulative infiltration(CI),but are often *** this study,several novel standalone machine learning algorithms(M5Prime(M5P),decision stump(DS),and sequential minimal optimization(SMO))and hybrid algorithms based on additive regression(AR)(i.e.,AR-M5P,AR-DS,and AR-SMO)and weighted instance handler wrapper(WIHW)(i.e.,WIHW-M5P,WIHW-DS,and WIHW-SMO)were developed for CI *** Soil Conservation Service(SCS)model developed by the United States Department of Agriculture(USDA),one of the most popular empirical models to predict CI,was considered as a ***,154 measurements of CI(explanatory/input variables)were taken from 16 sites in a semi-arid region of Iran(Illam and Lorestan provinces).Six input variable combinations were considered based on Pearson correlations between candidate model inputs(time of measuring and soil bulk density,moisture content,and sand,clay,and silt percentages)and *** dataset was divided into two subgroups at random:70%of the data were used for model building(training dataset)and the remaining 30%were used for model validation(testing dataset).The various models were evaluated using different graphical approaches(bar charts,scatter plots,violin plots,and Taylor diagrams)and quantitative measures(root mean square error(RMSE),mean absolute error(MAE),Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency(NSE),and percent bias(PBIAS)).Time of measuring had the highest correlation with CI in the study *** best input combinations were different for different *** results showed that all hybrid algorithms enhanced the CI prediction accuracy compared to the standalone *** AR-M5P model provided the most accurate CI predictions(RMSE=0.75 cm,MAE=0.59 cm,NSE=0.98),while the SCS model had the lowest performance(RMSE=4.77 cm,MAE=2.64 cm,NSE=

Direct soil temperature(ST)measurement is time-consuming and costly;thus,the use of simple and cost-effective machine learning(ML)tools is *** this study,ML approaches,including KStar,instance-based K-nearest learning(IBK),and locally weighted learning(LWL),coupled with resampling algorithms of bagging(BA)and dagging(DA)(BA-IBK,BA-KStar,BA-LWL,DA-IBK,DA-KStar,and DA-LWL)were developed and tested for multi-step ahead(3,6,and 9 d ahead)ST *** addition,a linear regression(LR)model was used as a benchmark to evaluate the results.A dataset was established,with daily ST time-series at 5 and 50 cm soil depths in a farmland as models’output and meteorological data as models’input,including mean(T_(mean)),minimum(Tmin),and maximum(T_(max))air temperatures,evaporation(Eva),sunshine hours(SSH),and solar radiation(SR),which were collected at Isfahan Synoptic Station(Iran)for 13 years(1992–2005).Six different input combination scenarios were selected based on Pearson’s correlation coefficients between inputs and outputs and fed into the *** used 70%of the data to train the models,with the remaining 30%used for model evaluation via multiple visual and quantitative ***?ndings showed that T_(mean)was the most effective input variable for ST forecasting in most of the developed models,while in some cases the combinations of variables,including T_(mean)and T_(max)and T_(mean),T_(max),Tmin,Eva,and SSH proved to be the best input *** the evaluated models,BA-KStar showed greater compatibility,while in most cases,BA-IBK and-LWL provided more accurate results,depending on soil *** the 5 cm soil depth,BA-KStar had superior performance(i.e.,Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency(NSE)=0.90,0.87,and 0.85 for 3,6,and 9 d ahead forecasting,respectively);for the 50 cm soil depth,DA-KStar outperformed the other models(i.e.,NSE=0.88,0.89,and 0.89 for 3,6,and 9 d ahead forecasting,respectively).The results con?rmed that all hybrid models had higher prediction

We study the collapsing and subsequent spontaneous twisting of a carbon nanotube by in situ transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. A custom-sized nanotube is first created in the microscope by selectively extracting shells from a parent multi-walled tube. The few-walled, large-diameter daughter nanotube is driven to collapse via mechanical stimulation, after which the ribbon-like collapsed tube spontaneously twists along its long axis. In situ diffraction experiments fully characterize the uncollapsed and collapsed tubes. The experimental observations and associated theoretical analysis indicate that the origin of the twisting is compressive strain.

Usually,we chose train and test datasets from one *** means that for making a dataset after gathering enough photos,we use most of the images for training and keep some photos for *** we train a network and test it with similar data of training networks,it works very well during *** after that,when we want to use this network in reality,the efficiency decreases a *** is a challenge that domain adaptive deal with it and tries to *** challenge is that although we know where we want to use our network and have an image of the target area,these data are not *** labels for these data is time-consuming and expensive,so we need to have another solution for this problem which domain adaptive is an area for solving *** approach this task by dividing our development into two parts,first improve the image to image generation with one of the newest networks in Generative Adversarial Network（GAN）area and increase the accuracy of object detection with reduce wrong datasets with filter and improve the backbone based on dense *** we tried that with Generative Adversarial Network,and Siamese Network makes a robust network for generating new *** means that with the label and content of the old dataset,it makes a new dataset whose style is similar to the target *** then,with a filter,we reduced the number of defective labels,finally trained the detection module with these labels with a robust *** method show increased performance in object detection with the new *** result was successful for cityscapes,foggy-cityscapes,and the GTA5 dataset

Transport of suspensions and emulsions in porous media occurs in numerous processes of environmental, chemical, petroleum and civil engineering. In this work, a mass balance particle transport equation which includes filtration has been developed. The steady-state transport equation is presented and the solution to the complete advective-dispersion equation for particulate suspension flow has been derived for the case of a constant filter coefficient. This model in-cludes transport parameters which are particle advective velocity, particle longitudinal dispersion coefficient and filter coefficient. This work recommends to be investigated by particle longitudinal dispersion calculation from experimental data, directly. Besides, the numerical model needs to be developed for general case of a transition filter coefficient.

Production of cocoa butter replacer (CBR) from tea seed oil through common modification methods of oils (dry fractionation, partial hydrogenation, chemical and enzymatic interesterification) was evaluated. Some physico-chemical properties (iodine, saponification, acid and peroxide values) and fatty acid composition (FAC) of modified samples were analyzed and compared with a reference cocoa butter (CB). Solid and liquid fractions for large amounts of unsaturated fatty acids (approx. 80%) and thereby lower iodine values (81 - 85 gI2/100g) than that of CB (37% and 34 gI2/100 g, respectively), are not suitable as CBR. Among all ratios of chemically and enzaymatically interesterified oil blends (20%, 25% and 30% of hydrogenated tea seed oil with 80%, 75% and 70% of tea seed oil/liquid fraction/solid fraction), the samples with ratio of 30:70 from both chemical and enzymatic interesterification had FAC and iodine value closer to that of CB. A comparision between chemically and enzymatically interesterified samples (CISs and EISs, respectively), in terms of solid fat content (SFC) indicated that although the SFC values in EIS were much lower than that of CB, but the thermal behavior of this sample is comprable to CB at 20℃- 30℃ (sharp melting point of CB).

Purpose:Motorcycle accident is a major cause of road traffic injuries and the motorcyclists are consid ered as vulnerable road *** present study aimed to determine the epidemiological characteristics of fatal motorcycle crashes in ***:In this cross-sectional study,a total of 28,356 motorcycle traffic fatalities registered in the Legal Medicine Organization of Iran were analyzed during the period between March 2011 and March *** examined variables included demographic characteristics,helmet use,crash mechanisms,crash location,position state,type of counterpart vehicle,cause of death and place of *** the study,road traffic mortalities involving drivers and/or passenger of motorcycles were *** or events registered without these conditions were excluded from the *** analyse the data,SPSS statistics 25 and GraphPad Prism 8 softwares were ***:Of the 122,682 fatal traffic injury cases,28,356(23.1%)were motorcycle users,of whom 95.3%were male and 4.7%were *** of the motorcycle fatalities belonged to the age group of 18-24 years(29.1%).Head trauma was the major cause of death(59.0%).Also,the overall proportion of safety helmet use among motorcycle crash victims was estimated at 37.4%.Most of the road traffic crash cases(46.8%)happened out of city and half of people(49.9%)died in *** 77.4%of the victims were motorcycle riders and 21.1%were pillion *** highest rate of mortality belonged to the selfemployed(38.4g)and then workers(21.8%)and students(10.2%).In addition,most fatalities occurred in people with low education(77.5%)and the least occurred in university graduates(5.5%).Among 31 provinces of Iran,Fars had the highest(9.3%)occurrence rate and Kohgiluyeh and Buyer-Ahmad had the lowest(0.5%).Most of the crash mechanisms were due to motorcycle-vehicle crashes(80.2%),followed by rollover(9.8%).Conclusion:Comprehensive public education and special rules are needed to reduce the rate of deaths in m

In nature, tyrosol (TY) and hydroxytyrosol (HT) are found in olive leaves which are for medical aims, with immune stimulant and antibiotic properties as well as the ability to be used for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer. This ability of phytochemical TY and HT compounds are mainly believed to be of higher radical scavenging potential with effective antioxidant properties. In order to establish the possible structure-antioxidant activity relationship of tyrosol, hydroxytyrosol, hydroxytyrosol acetate and two designed hydroxytyrosol derivatives were studied by the help of quantum chemical calculations. The molecular electronic properties such as heat formation of the neutral, radical and orbitals energies were calculated as descriptors to predict the H atom donating abilities of compounds. Considering the results from the calculated descriptors, the derivatives having OH group substitutions in position number four of the aromatic ring can be classified highly active and better antioxidant compound. Therefore, the designed hydroxytyrosol derivatives showed most active feasible H atom donation. This work can be useful to design novel antioxidants.
