Seasonal rainfall plays a vital role in both environmental dynamics and decision-making for rainfed agriculture in Ethiopia, a country often impacted by extreme climate events such as drought and flooding. Predicting the onset of the rainy season and providing localized rainfall forecasts for Ethiopia is challenging due to the changing spatiotemporal patterns and the country's rugged topography. The Climate Hazards Group Infra Red Precipitation with Station Data(CHIRPS), ERA5-Land total precipitation and temperature data are used from 1981–2022 to predict spatial rainfall by applying an artificial neural network(ann). The recurrent neural network(RNN) is a nonlinear autoregressive network with exogenous input(NARX), which includes feed-forward connections and multiple network layers, employing the Levenberg Marquart algorithm. This method is applied to downscale data from the European Centre for Medium-range Weather Forecasts fifth-generation seasonal forecast system(ECMWF-SEAS5) and the Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Climate Change(CMCC) to the specific locations of rainfall stations in Ethiopia for the period 1980–2020. Across the stations, the results of NARX exhibit strong associations and reduced errors. The statistical results indicate that, except for the southwestern Ethiopian highlands, the downscaled monthly precipitation data exhibits high skill scores compared to the station records, demonstrating the effectiveness of the NARX approach for predicting local seasonal rainfall in Ethiopia's complex terrain. In addition to this spatial ann of the summer season precipitation, temperature, as well as the combination of these two variables, show promising results.

Rapid urbanization pressure and poverty have created a push for affordable housing within the global *** design of affordable housing can have consequences on the thermal(dis)comfort and behaviour of the occupants,hence requiring an occupant-centric approach to ensure *** paper investigates occupant behaviour within the urban poor households of Mumbai,India and its impact on their thermal comfort and energy *** study is a first-of-its-kind attempt to explore the socio-demographic characteristics and energy-related behaviour of low-income occupants within Indian *** occupant archetypes,Indifferent Consumers;Considerate Savers;and Conscious Conventionals,were identified from the behavioural and psychographic characteristics gathered through a transverse field survey.A two-step clustering approach was adopted for occupant segmentation that highlighted considerable diversity in occupants’adaptation measures,energy knowledge,energy habits,and their pro-environmental behaviour within similar socio-economic *** energy simulation of the representative archetype behaviour estimated up to 37%variations for air-conditioned and up to 8%variation for fan-assisted naturally ventilated housing units during peak summer *** results from this study establish the significance of occupant factors in shaping energy demand and thermal comfort within low-income housing and pave way for developing occupant-centric building design strategies to serve this marginalized *** developed low-income occupant archetypes would be useful for architects and energy modelers to generate realistic energy use profiles and improve building performance simulation results.

Most E26 transformation-specific （ETS） transcription factors are involved in the pathogenesis and progression of cancer. This is in part due to the roles of ETS transcription factors in basic biological processes such as growth, proliferation, and differentiation, and also because of their regulatory functions that have physiological relevance in tumorigenesis, immunity, and basal cellular homoeostasis. A member of the E74-1ike factor （ELF） subfamily of the ETS transcription factor family--myeloid elf-l-Uke factor （MEF）, designated as ELF4~has been shown to be critically involved in immune response and signalling, osteogenesis, adipo- genesis, cancer, and stem cell quiescence. ELF4 carries out these functions as a transcriptional activator or through interactions with its partner proteins. Mutations in ELF4 cause aberrant interactions and induce downstream processes that may lead to dis- eased cells. Knowing how ELF4 impinges on certain cellular processes and how it is regulated in the cells can lead to a better understanding of the physiological and pathological consequences of modulated ELF4 activity.

Targeted agents have significantly improved outcomes for patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia,particularly high-risk subgroups for whom chemoimmunotherapy previously offered limited *** classes of agent in particular,the Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitors(e.g.,ibrutinib)and the B-cell lymphoma 2 inhibitor,venetoclax,induce high response rates and durable remissions in the relapsed/refractory and frontline ***,maturing clinical data have revealed promises and pitfalls for both *** drugs induce remissions and disease control in the majority of patients,often in situations where modest efficacy would be expected with traditional chemoimmunotherapy ***,in the relapsed and refractory setting,both agents appear to be associated with an inevitable risk of disease relapse and *** patterns of resistance are being described for both agents but a common theme appears to be multiple sub-clonal drivers of disease *** these mechanisms and developing effective and safe methods to circumvent the emergence of resistance will determine the longer-term utility of these agents to improve patients’quality and length of *** drug combinations,optimised scheduling and sequencing of therapy will likely hold the key to achieving these important goals.

The recent aggrandizement of radio frequency(RF)signals in wireless power transmission combined with energy harvesting methods have led to the replacement of traditional battery-powered wireless networks since the blooming RF technology provides energy renewal of wireless devices with the quality of service(QoS).In addition,it does not require any unnecessary alterations on the transmission hardware side.A hybridized global optimization technique uniting Global best and Local best(GL)based particle swarm optimization(PSO)and ant colony optimization(ACO)is proposed in this paper to optimally allocate resources in wireless powered communication networks(WPCN)through coordinated operation of communication groups,in which the wireless energy transfer and information sharing take place concomitantly by the aid of a cooperative relay positioned in between the communicating *** designed algorithm assists in minimizing power consumption and maximizes the weighted sum rate at the end-user *** the principal target of the system is coordinated optimization of energy beamforming along with time and energy allocation to reduce the total energy consumed combined with assured information rates of the communication *** outputs are presented to manifest the proposed system’s performance to verify the analytical results via simulations.
