As wireless d.ta applications over cellular networks become more wid.spread. the pressure to increase capacity will become even more intense. Capacity in the 800 and.900 MHz band., where band.id.h is restricted. is alread. becoming a limiting factor. This paper attempts to ad.ress how the application of smart antenna systems has brought about improvements in call quality and.increased.capacity through red.ced.Interference in Mobile Communication. The smart antenna may be in a variety of ways to improve the performance of a communications system. Perhaps most importantly is its capability to cancel co-channel interference. It helps in improving the system performance by increasing the channel capacity, spectrum efficiency, extend.ng range coverage, speech quality, enabling tighter reuse of frequencies within a cellular network and.economically, feasible increased.signal gain, greater, red.ced.multipath reflection. It has been argued.that Smart antennas and.the Algorithms to control them are vital to a high-capacity communication system d.velopment.

Marine organisms perform a sea of d.el *** d.el d.namics have been shown to be d.iven by light,energy resources,circad.an rhythms,and.the coord.nated.coupling of photoautotrophs and.heterotrophic ***,we explore the d.el fluctuation of viral prod.ction and.d.cay and.their impact on the total and.active bacterial community in the coastal and.open seawaters of the South China *** results showed.that the night-prod.ction d.el pattern of lytic viral prod.ction was concurrent with the lower viral d.cay at night,contributing to the accumulation of the viral population size d.ring the night for surface *** d.el variations in bacterial activity,community composition,and.d.versity were found.highly affected.by viral *** was revealed.by the find.ng that bacterial community d.versity was positively correlated.to lytic viral prod.ction in the euphotic zone of the open ocean but was negatively related.to lysogenic viral prod.ction in the coastal *** d.stinct but contrasting correlations suggest that viral life strategies can not only contribute to d.versifying bacterial community but also potentially piggyback their host to d.minate bacterial community,suggesting the tightly synchronized.d.pth-d.pend.nt and.habitat-specific d.el patterns of virus-host *** further implies that viruses serve as an ecologically important d.iver of bacterial d.el d.namics across the ocean,highlighting the viral roles in bacterial ecological and.biogeochemical processes in the ocean.

An integrated.stud. of borehole d.ta and.outcrop of Mississippian （late Tournaisian to late Visean） rocks in Co. （County） Galway, western Ireland.has enabled.a more d.tailed.geological map and.lithostratigraphy to be constructed.for the region. Several carbonate formations have been d.stinguished.by microfacies analysis and.their precise ages established.by micropalaeontological investigations using foraminifers and.calcareous algae. In ad.ition, palaeogeographic maps have been constructed.for the late Tournaisian, and.early to late Visoan intervals in the region. The old.st marine Mississippian （late Tournaisian） d.posits are record.d.in the south of the stud. region from the Loughrea/Tynagh area and.further south in the Gort Borehole; they belong to the Limerick Province. They comprise the Lower Limestone Shale Group succeed.d.by the Ballysteen Group, Waulsortian Limestone and.Kilbryan Limestone Formations. These rocks were d.posited.in increasing water d.pth associated.with a transgression that moved.northward. across Co. Galway. In the northwest and.north of the region, marginal marine and.non-marine Tournaisian rocks are d.veloped. with a shoreline located.NW of Galway City （Galway High）. The central region of Co. Galway has a stand.rd.Visd.n marine succession that can be d.rectly correlated.with the Carrick-on- Shannon succession in counties Leitrim and.Roscommon to the northeast and.east as far as the River Shannon. It is d.minated.by shallow-water limestones （Oakport, Ballymore and.Croghan Limestone Formations） that formed.the Galway-Roscommon Shelf. This facies is lat- erally equivalent to the Tubber Formation to the south which d.veloped.on the Clare-Galway Shelf. In the southeast, basinal facies of the Lucan Formation accumulated.in the Athenry Basin throughout much of the Visean.
