Poor stability and dispersibility,as well as aggregation are considered as major challenges in clinical application of iron oxide nanoparticles(IONPs).Several studies have shown that the synthesis parameters and post-synthesis treatments e.g.,drying methods,have the capability to improve the particles'***,we investigate the combined effect of synthesis and post-treatment parameters on the particle size,stability and magnetism of ***(Fe_(3)O_(4))NPs were prepared via co-precipitation and post-treated using different methods,i.e.(i)freeze dried at-53℃,0.133 mbar for 48 h(liquid nitrogen frozen(LFD)and freezer frozen(FFD)),(ii)vacuum oven dried(VOD)at 60℃for 24 h,and(iii)kept wet colloidal(WET),dispersed in deionized *** Fe_(3)O_(4)NPs’chemical functional groups,size,shape,crystallinity,stability,aggregation,porosity,and magnetic properties were further analysed using different characterisation *** results showed that,while the WET sample had the best stability and significantly less aggregation at different temperatures,amongst post-treated Fe_(3)O_(4)NPs,LFD sample exhibited the best stability(up to 37℃),dispersion and smallest polydispersity ***,all dried NPs had superparamagnetic characteristics,while,LFD Fe_(3)O_(4)NPs had better magnetic properties and stability than other drying methods.

We report on a case of an 85-year old man with an unusual presentation of small bowel obstruction. A palpable mass on digital rectal examination was subsequently visualised endoscopically with the appearance of a haematoma. The presence of a rectal mass as a presenting sign for small bowel obstruction is highly unusual and unreported in the literature.

Currently, most public higher learning institutions in Tanzania rely on traditional in-class examinations, requiring students to register and present identification documents for examinations eligibility verification. This system, however, is prone to impersonations due to security vulnerabilities in current students’ verification system. These vulnerabilities include weak authentication, lack of encryption, and inadequate anti-counterfeiting measures. Additionally, advanced printing technologies and online marketplaces which claim to produce convincing fake identification documents make it easy to create convincing fake identity documents. The Improved Mechanism for Detecting Impersonations (IMDIs) system detects impersonations in in-class exams by integrating QR codes and dynamic question generation based on student profiles. It consists of a mobile verification app, built with Flutter and communicating via RESTful APIs, and a web system, developed with Laravel using HTML, CSS, and javaScript. The two components communicate through APIs, with MySQL managing the database. The mobile app and web server interact to ensure efficient verification and security during examinations. The implemented IMDIs system was validated by a mobile application which is integrated with a QR codes scanner for capturing codes embedded in student Identity Cards and linking them to a dynamic question generation model. The QG model uses natural language processing (NLP) algorithm and Question Generation (QG) techniques to create dynamic profile questions. Results show that the IMDIs system could generate four challenging profile-based questions within two seconds, allowing the verification of 200 students in 33 minutes by one operator. The IMDIs system also tracks exam-eligible students, aiding in exam attendance and integrates with a Short Message Service (SMS) to report impersonation incidents to a dedicated security officer in real-time. Objective:Placement of human placenta derived grafts during robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy(RARP)hastens the return of continence and *** long-term impact on the oncologic outcomes remains to be *** objective was to determine the oncologic outcomes of patients with dehydrated human amnion chorion membrane(dHACM)at RARP compared to a matched ***:In a referral centre,from August 2013 to October 2019,599 patients used dHACM in bilateral nerve-sparing *** excluded patients with less than 12 months follow-up,simple prostatectomy,and unilateral *** with dHACM(amnio group)were 529,and were propensity score matched 1:1 to 2465 patients without dHACM(non-amnio group)and a minimum follow-up of 36 *** the time of RARP,dHACM was placed around the neurovascular bundle in the amnio *** and categorical variables in matched groups was tested by two-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Fisher's exact test *** measured were biochemical recurrence(BCR),adjuvant and salvage therapy ***:Propensity score matching resulted in two groups of 444 *** incidence functions for BCR did not show a difference between the groups(p=0.3).Patients in the non-amnio group required salvage therapy more frequently than the amnio group,particularly after partial nerve-sparing RARP(6.3%vs.2.3%,p=0.001).Limitations are the absence of prospective ***:The data suggest that using dHACM does not have a negative impact on BCR in *** of cancer specific and overall survival will require follow-up study to increase our understanding of these grafts’impact on prostate cancer biology.

This paper models the giraffe’s jugular veins as a uniform collapsible tube from a rigid skull. The equations governing one-dimensional steady flow through such a tube for various conditions have been developed. The effects of inertial and inclination angles that have not been discussed previously have been included. It has been shown that different flows for a uniform tube (vein) are possible. However, this flow matches that of a jugular vein which is supercritical, and the steady solution has been given by the balance between the driving forces of gravity and the viscous resistance to the flow at the right atrium of the heart must be sub-critical for a fixed right-atrium pressure which means that an elastic jump is required to return the flow to sub-critical from the supercritical flow upstream this type of relationship gives rise to flow limitation at the same time given any right atrium fixed pressure there exists a maximum flow rate which when exceeded the boundary conditions of the flow do not hold boundary conditions at the right atrium are not satisfied hence making the steady flow impossible this mechanism of flow limitation is slightly different from the other one in that causes airways through forced expiration from the observation made it is clearly shown that there is an intravascular pressure difference with a change in height.

与发达经济体相比,新兴市场和发展中经济体(EMDEs)的资产收益波动性要大得多。学术界对此现象的研究结果是“各国无法从全球金融周期中脱钩”。文章利用1995—2019年间78个国家的结构向量自回归模型,以及文献中识别美国货币政策冲击的不同方法,检验了资本账户开放程度较低的国家对美国货币政策冲击的系统性反应小于资本管制宽松的国家这一命题。文章还考虑了汇率制度和外汇干预等其他制度特征在解释各国对冲击的反应差异方面的作用。实证结果表明:较严格的资本管制会使利率和汇率对美国货币政策冲击的反应较小,该结果在新兴市场经济国家中更为显著;只有微弱的证据表明汇率的灵活程度会影响美国对外国利率和汇率的溢出效应。本刊编译此篇世界银行的研究报告,以飨读者。

Steady decline in the percentage of 235U in terrestrial uranium made natural fission impos- sible after about 1.8 Ga. Fission before 1.8 Ga disturbed the lead isotope system at various places world- wide, such as Oklo, Gabon, and may have caused the first lead isotope paradox. Fission in areas of high uranium concentration may also have generated enough heat to localize sparse Archean and Paleoproter- ozoic UHT belts. The oldest widespread orogenic systems formed at approximately 2.0-1.8 Ga after fission stopped contributing to the earth＇s heat flow. These early orogenic systems partly created the supercontinent Columbia.
