Purpose.of the.study: Re.e.rch of the.clinical and diagnostic significance.of de.e.mination of Lipocalin-2 associate. with ne.trophilic ge.atinase. (uNGAL) in the.urine.of childre. with urinary tract infe.tion (UTI) and pye.one.hritis. Mate.ials and me.hods: We.e.amine. 30 childre. with acute.pye.one.hritis and UTI age. 1 to 16 ye.rs (ave.age.age.7.32 ± 4.52) including 26 girls and 4 boys. Ve.ification of the.diagnosis was conducte. on the.basis of clinical and laboratory data, me.ical history and instrume.tal e.amination of patie.ts. All childre. we.e.divide. into 2 groups: 1st group—15 childre. with acute.pye.one.hritis, 2nd group—15 childre. with urinary tract infe.tion. uNGAL was me.sure. in the.urine.by e.zyme.linke. immunosorbe.t assay (e.SA) (BioVe.dor Laboratoty Me.icine.. Re.ults: It is found, that the.urine.le.e. of NGAL de.e.ds on the.damage.de.re. of re.al pare.chyma. The.corre.ation of me.ium stre.gth was found be.we.n the.e.cre.ion le.e. of uNGAL during the.acute.pe.iod of pye.one.hritis and the.de.e.tion of re.al scars according to the.DMSA-ne.hroscintigraphy data. In the.group of childre. with the.acute.pye.one.hritis the.dire.t corre.ation of me.ium stre.gth was found be.we.n the.e.cre.ion le.e. of uNGAL/cre.tinine.and le.kocytosis value.and also with the.CRP blood le.e.. Conclusion: The.re.ults allow us to re.omme.d the.de.e.mination of the.e.cre.ion le.e. of uNGAL/cre.tinine.as an additional non-invasive.marke. for the.e.rly de.e.tion of re.al pare.chyma injury.
