Due to rapidly developed resistance,pest management relies less on pyrethroids to control economically damaging infestations of the tarnished plant bug(TPB),Lygus lineolaris(Palisot de Beauvois)in cotton fields of ***,pyrethroid resistance remains prevalent in TPB *** study assessed the resistance levels in adult TPB to six common pyrethroids and *** TBPs were collected from wild host plants in late October after harvest in the mississippi Delta region of the United *** on LCso values,the field-resistant TPBs displayed higher resistance to permethrin,esfenvalerate,and bifenthrin(approximately 30 fold)and moderate resistance toα-cyhalothrin,β-cyfluthrin,5-cypermethrin,and acephate(approximately 15 fold).Further investigations showed that the inhibitors of three detoxification enzyme,triphenyl phosphate(TPP),diethyl maleate(DEm),and piperonyl butoxide(PBO)had synergistic effects on permethrin,γ-cyhalothrin,and bifenthrin in resistant ***,elevated esterase,GST,and P450 activities were significantly expressed in fieldresistant ***,GST and esterase were reduced after 48 h exposure to certain pyrethroids at LCso *** synergistic and biochemical assays consistently indicated that P450 and esterase were involved in pyrethroid detoxification in *** study provides valuable information for the continued use of pyrethroids and acephate in controlling TPBs in cotton fields in the mississippi Delta region of the United States.

Digital intubation was discovered as one of the first methods to face a difficult airway without direct laryngoscopy. From the very beginning, this technique has been surrounded by much controversy, mainly because it required to be performed by an expert. Nowadays, it remains a useful technique when treating patients with difficult airways, so it is of utmost importance all personnel involved with airway management must know and perfect this technique when scenarios where conventional laryngoscopy or rescue devices for difficult airway are not available or contraindicated. The present work’s main objective is to suggest digital intubation as a safe and effective technique for the management of patients with difficult airways when there are no other devices available. The authors present a successful case of digital intubation on a patient with a difficult airway, demonstrating this technique is useful when performed by expert practitioners and when there is no other equipment available.

As cloud computing usage grows,cloud data centers play an increasingly important *** maximize resource utilization,ensure service quality,and enhance system performance,it is crucial to allocate tasks and manage performance *** purpose of this study is to provide an extensive analysis of task allocation and performance management techniques employed in cloud data *** aim is to systematically categorize and organize previous research by identifying the cloud computing methodologies,categories,and gaps.A literature review was conducted,which included the analysis of 463 task allocations and 480 performance management *** review revealed three task allocation research topics and seven performance management *** allocation research areas are resource allocation,load-Balancing,and *** management includes monitoring and control,power and energy management,resource utilization optimization,quality of service management,fault management,virtual machine management,and network *** study proposes new techniques to enhance cloud computing work allocation and performance ***-comings in each approach can guide future *** research’s findings on cloud data center task allocation and performance management can assist academics,practitioners,and cloud service providers in optimizing their systems for dependability,cost-effectiveness,and *** methodologies can steer future research to fill gaps in the literature.

The carbide precipitation was analyzed during aging of 2.25Cr–1mo steel at 550℃.The as-received steel was aged in two different manners:the first treatment was an isothermal aging at 550℃ for time up to 1000 h,and the second one was carried out by a cyclical aging,which consisted of aging at 550℃ for 1 h,water quenching at room temperature and then newly heating at 550℃.This procedure was repeated up to 300 *** m_(23)C_(6) and m6C carbide precipitation took place intragranularly and intergranularly for both aging *** carbide coarsening was detected to occur with the increasing aging ***,the growth kinetics of precipitation occurred more rapidly in the case of cyclical *** specimen hardness decreased with the aging time in both cases;however,it occurred in shorter aging time for the cyclical *** testing indicated the increase in ductility with the aging time,and the cyclically aged specimens showed larger ductility than the isothermally aged specimens.

Changes in spaces for cooking and eating are fundamental to modern architecture. Proposals and studies conducted in America from the 19th century and in Europe mainly from the 1920s have caused architectural debates on the nature of the kitchen space, i.e., to achieve either spaces that are organized and efficient or spaces for working and living. modern architecture has transformed the kitchen and determined its appearance throughout the 20th century. The intensity of this transformation has depended on social, technical, and architectural *** this study, we focus on how modern architectural approaches influenced dwellings in Barcelona, Spain between the 1920s and the 1950s. The study demonstrates that changes did not occur regularly and were limited to the incorporation of certain services or technological improvements. During this period, cooking and eating spaces were not considered in depth and were treated as areas of secondary importance within dwellings. Changes only became significant from the 1950s onward, when economic improvements, technological innovations, the housing problem, and the gradual arrival of Western cultural references changed the values of these spaces.

To the Editor： We have read with interest the article entitled ＂New classification of Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich syndrome （HWWS）＂ by Zhu et *** we want to clarify a few points. Such syndrome, although often reported as such in the literature, does not exist. Herlyn-Werner syndrome in their original description is a unilateral renal aplasia, with double uterus and blind vagina presenting as Gartner＇s pseudocyst. In the Wunderlich syndrome, the blind hemivagina is developed and filled with a large hematocolpos. The symptoms and management of these entities are different.
