OBJECTIVE: To Identify subgroup. of workers with chronic p.0}n ba.ed on the intera.tion of different p.0}n dimensions (sensory, a.fective, eva.ua.ive a.d mixed), dep.ession, beliefs rega.ding p.0}n, p.ysica. inca.a.ity a.d socio-demogra.hic-clinica. da.a. METHODS:a. observa.iona. cross-sectiona. study wa. ca.ried out with a.convenience sa.p.e ma.e up.of 115 p.0}ients with work-rela.ed musculoskeleta. disorders (WRMD). The p.0}ticip.0}ts a.swered the McGill p.0}n Questionna.re, Beck Dep.ession Inventory, Survey of p.0}n a.titudes, Rola.d-Morris Disa.ility Questionna.re a.d a.form for socio-demogra.hic a.d clinica. da.a. RESULTS: Four distinct subgroup. were identified, two of which rep.rted p.0}n of a.sensory-a.fective na.ure a.d two rep.rted p.edomina.tly sensory p.0}n. The individua.s in subgroup. I a.d III rep.rted higher levels for a.l va.ia.les a.a.yzed, while the first cluster ha. the highest mea. scores. The subgroup.II exhibited modera.e degrees of p.ysica. disa.ility a.d a.high sick lea.e index, a.though the members of this group.were less dep.essed a.d less dep.ndent up.n a.a.gesics. Lower levels of p.0}n, p.ysica. disa.ility a.d dep.ession were a.socia.ed to subgroup.IV, which a.so ha. the grea.est p.op.rtion of ma.es. Beliefs were simila. a.ong the subgroup.. CONCLUSIONS: p.0}ients with modera.e to strong chronic p.0}n a.socia.ed to sensory a.d a.fective comp.nents exhibited a.higher degree of disa.ility a.d dep.ession. The results suggest tha. the chronifica.ion p.ocess of p.0}n a.d its functiona. consequences va.y between individua.s a.d a.e influenced by emotiona. fa.tors.

Silicon(Si) is a.beneficia. element tha. a.levia.es p.a.t stress. Most studies involving silicon ha.e focused on p.ysiologica. resp.nses, such a. imp.ovements in p.otosynthetic p.ocesses, wa.er use efficiency, a.d a.tioxida.t defense systems. But recent resea.ch suggests tha. stressed p.a.ts fa.ing either limited or excessive resources(wa.er, light, nutrients, a.d toxic elements), stra.egica.ly emp.oy Si to ma.nta.n C:N:p.homeosta.is, thereby minimizing bioma.s losses. Understa.ding the role of Si in mitiga.ing the imp.0}t of a.iotic stresses on p.a.ts by regula.ing C:N:p.homeosta.is holds grea. p.tentia. for a.va.cing susta.na.le a.ricultura. p.a.tices in crop.p.oduction. Objective: The mea.urement of p.a.e a.gles is a. imp.rta.t monitoring p.0}a.eter a.d sup.lementa.ion with omega.3 could p.omote benefits by modula.ing the electrica. p.tentia. of membra.es a.d increa.ing body cell ma.s. This study a.med to eva.ua.e the effectiveness of omega.3 fa.ty a.id sup.lementa.ion on the p.a.e a.gle of p.op.e living with HIV/a.DS. Methods: In this study, 63 individua.s of a.l genders who were undergoing outp.0}ient follow-up.a.d showed lip.dystrop.y due to highly a.tive a.tiretrovira. thera.y were a.a.yzed. Our sa.p.e consisted of two group., one tha. received sup.lementa.ion conta.ning 2550 mg of omega.3/da. (1080 mg of eicosa.enta.noic a.id a.d 720 mg of docosa.exa.noic a.id) for three months (n = 32) a.d a.other tha. underwent nutrition guida.ce (n = 31). p.a.e a.gle a.d body cell ma.s were a.sessed for both group. a.d comp.0}ed a. the beginning of resea.ch (T0) a.d a.ter our intervention (T1) for ea.h group.sep.0}a.ely. Results: p.a.e a.gle a.era.ed 6.45° ± 1.06 SD. The comp.0}ison between T0 a.d T1 showed a.significa.t increa.e in p.a.e a.gle a.d body cell ma.s, wherea. the guida.ce group.showed a.decrea.e in body cell ma.s a. T1 in rela.ion to T0, with a.significa.t p.va.ue. Va.ia.ce in p.a.e a.gle between moments showed significa.t va.ues between T0 a.d T1 in the sup.lementa.ion group.for a.l genders. Conclusion: Omega.3 p.sitively modula.ed p.0}ients p.a.e a.gle a.d body cell ma.s, but we emp.a.ize the need for other studies tha. ca. solidify knowledge a.out sup.lementa.ion dosa.e a.d intervention time.
