Cluster Analysis of the Roma-BZCAT Blazars

Based on the collected multiwavelength data, namely in the radio(NVSS, FIRST, RATAN-600), IR(WISE),optical(Pan-STARRS), UV(GALEX), and X-ray(ROSAT, Swift-XRT) ranges, we have performed a cluster analysis for the blazars of the Roma-BZCAT catalog. Using two machine learning methods, namely a combination of PCA with k-means clustering and Kohonen's self-organizing maps(SOMs), we have constructed an independent classification of the blazars(five classes) and compared the classes with the known Roma-BZCAT classification(FSRQs, BL Lacs, galaxy-dominated BL Lacs, and blazars of an uncertain type) as well as with the high synchrotron peaked(HSP) blazars from the 3HSP catalog and blazars from the TeVCat catalog. The obtained groups demonstrate concordance with the BL Lac/FSRQ classification along with a continuous character of the change in the properties. The group of HSP blazars stands out against the overall distribution. We examine the characteristics of the five groups and demonstrate distinctions in their spectral energy distribution shapes. The effectiveness of the clustering technique for objective analysis of multiparametric arrays of experimental data is demonstrated.

共产国际的中国机构是共产国际与中国共产党之间联系的纽带,是共产国际中国政策的执行者。大量与共产国际的中国机构相关的档案文献收藏于俄罗斯各档案馆内,苏联解体后相继解密了共产国际中国局的干部组织文件、共产国际远东书记处、共产国际东方局及其驻中国代表活动的管理文件、反映共产国际中国政策实施情况的计划性文件、共产国际及其预算委员会的财务文件等,在此基础上俄罗斯学界出现了多部相关档案文献集。俄罗斯历史学家依据这些档案和文件集对共产国际与中国共产党和中国革命的关系进行了认真细致的研究,成果涉及共产国际中国政策的演变及实施情况、共产国际中国机构的沿革、共产国际驻中国干部的组成与重要人物的活动、共产国际对中国共产党的影响等问题。俄罗斯公布的相关档案文献和俄罗斯学者的研究成果值得关注。

A comprehensive study and detailed analysis of pyroelectric and electrocaloric effects in relaxor ferroelectrics based on lead magnesium niobate as a promising object for such investigations have been carried out.It was found that even at the maximum values of pyroelectric coefficients the electrocaloric response inextricably linked with the pyroelectric effect does not exceed 1°C in the temperature range from 10 to 60°C under DC electric field up to 60 kV/cm.These conditions are the most demanded for the operation of electrocaloric cooling devices.Vision for the future as to increasing the efficiency of the main elements for such devices is discussed.

A lion-like pantherine felid is described as Panthera(Leo)fossilis from the late Early Pleistocene sediments of the Kuznetsk Basin(Western Siberia,Russia).The find of P.fossilis first recorded in Asia considerably extends the current notion of the eastward expansion of the most ancient lions.The Siberian lion is geologically the oldest form and is dimensionally among the largest members of the group of fossil lions on the Eurasian continent.Although known by mandibular remains only,it is readily distinguished from Panthera(Leo)spelaea by a heavy built mandibular corpus with rectangular profile in the cheek teeth area,a deep,well-outlined and narrow anterior section of the masseteric fossa,and a largeр4 supported by a big unreduced anterior root.The Siberian lion shares these features with the European Middle Pleistocene P.fossilis and the American Late Pleistocene P.(Leo)atrox,which suggests their close relationship.P.atrox originated from P.fossilis and was isolated in North America south of the Late Pleistocene ice sheets.This explains why the American lion has retained more primitive features than the coeval Eurasian cave lion P.(L.)spelaea.

The Burpala alkaline massif contains rocks with more than 50 minerals rich in Zr,Nb,Ti,Th,Be and rare earth elements（REE）.The rocks vary in composition from shonkinite,melanocratic syenite,nepheline and alkali syenites to alaskite and alkali granite and contain up to 10%LILE and HSFE,3.6%of REE and varying amounts of other trace elements（4%Zr,0.5%Y,0.5%Nb,0.5%Th and 0.1%U）.Geological and geochemical data suggest that all the rocks in the Burpala massif were derived from alkaline magma enriched in rare earth elements.The extreme products of magma fractionation are REE rich pegmatites,apatite-fiuorite bearing rocks and carbonatites.The Sr and Nd isotope data suggest that the source of primary melt is enriched mantle（EM-Ⅱ）.We correlate the massif to mantle plume impact on the active margin of the Siberian continent.

Insufficient growth and rarefaction of capillaries, followed by endothelial dysfunction may represent one of the mostcritical mechanisms involved in heart damage. In this study we examined histochemical and ultrastructural changes inmyocardial capillary endothelium in two models of heart failure streptozotocin-induced diabetes mellitus (STZ) and NO-deficient hypertension in male Wistar rats. Diabetes was induced by a single i.v. dose of STZ (45 mg/kg) and chronic 9-week stage was analysed. To induce NO-deficient hypertension, animals were treated with inhibitor of NO synthase L-nitroarginine methylester (L-NAME) (40 mg/kg) for 4 weeks. Left ventricular tissue was processed for enzyme cata-lytic histochemistry of capillary alkaline phosphatase (AlPh), dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP IV), and endothelial NOsynthase/NADPH-diaphorase (NOS) and for ultrastructural analysis. In diabetic and hypertensive rats, lower/absentAlPh and DPP IV activities were found in focal micro-areas. NOS activity was significantly reduced and persisted onlylocally. Quantitative evaluation demonstrated reduction of reaction product intensity of AlPh, DPP and NOS by 49.50%,74.36%, 20.05% in diabetic and 62.93%, 82.71%, 37.65% in hypertensive rats. Subcellular alterations of endothelialcells were found in heart of both groups suggesting injury of capillary function as well as compensatory processes.Endothelial injury was more significant in diabetic animals, in contrast the adaptation was more evident in hypertensiveones. Concluding: both STZ-induced diabetes- and NO-deficient hypertension-related cardiomyopathy were accompa-nied by similar features of structural remodelling of cardiac capillary network manifested as angiogenesis and angiopathy.The latter was however, predominant and may accelerate disappearance of capillary endothelium contributing to myo-cardial dysfunction.

Apoptosis is an important process in the reconstruction of endometrium within the menstrual cycle. The balance between cell proliferation and apoptosis regulates the periodic repair and shedding of endometrial cells and leads to the menstruation or prepare the mucosal layer of endometrium for the implantation of the embryo. Many factors with pro- and antiapoptotic action, such as B cell lymphoma/leukemia-2 and inhibitors apoptosis proteins families, caspases, tumor necrosis factor receptors, phosphatase and tensin homolog, proliferator-activated receptor gamma, micro RNAs and others are differently expressed in the endometrial tissue at phases of menstrual cycle. Receptivity of the endometrium at the period of "window of implantation" is associated with the significant increase of apoptosis in endometrium to allow the embryo to be successfully implanted. The impairment of apoptosis regulation in the endometrium at this period often is observed in infertile women with endometriosis, tubal factor, polycystic ovary syndrome, etc.. In many cases the impairment of apoptosis regulation in the endometrium is the main cause of in vitro fertilization(IVF) treatment failure in these patients. As of today, the exact mechanisms and factors mediating the apoptotic process in normal endometrium and in infertile women are not fully understood. Herein, the literature data concerning the endometrial apoptosis regulation in general, and in light of the influence of apoptosis upon IVF treatment outcome are reviewed. The possibility to use some parameters of endometrial apoptosis for prediction of the successful pregnancy achievement in women participating in IVF protocols also is discussed.

The X ray (1-8?) flux data of the solar flares are analyzed. The data used were obtained on GOES satellite during the solar cycles 21 and 22. The total number of the flares is more than 33000. The flare distributions according to their X ray classes, durations and intensities are constructed. The evolution of these distributions in solar cycle as well as from cycle to cycle is studied. The statistical analysis of the flare characteristics is made. There was confirmed the result of more frequent occurrence for powerful flares in cycle 21 decline phase.
