The present study was to evaluate the effect of trace minerals(Zn,Mn,and Cu)from complexed amino acid minerals(ZMCAA)and bis-glycinate chelated minerals(ZMCGly)in laying hen diets on performance,internal and external egg quality,yolk mineral deposition,intestinal morphometry,and bone *** 78 to 98 weeks of age,400 White LSL-Lite strain laying hens were distributed in a randomized design with 4 treatments with 10 replicates per *** were distributed in a 2×2 factorial arrangement using either Zn,Mn,and Cu of ZMCAA or ZMCGly source at 2 levels:low(20,20,and 3.5 mg/kg of Zn,Mn,and Cu,respectively)or high(40,40,and 7 mg/kg of Zn,Mn,and Cu,respectively).The analysis of variance was performed,and in cases where differences were observed,the means were compared using Tukey?s test(Pbumen height(P=0.01),albumen weight(P=0.01),and eggshell thickness(Pbone densitometry(Pbia were higher with ZMCAA *** the small intestine,ZMCAA resulted in longer villi(P=0.02)and shorter crypt depth(P=0.01)in the *** and ileum measurements were influenced by the level and source of trace minerals(Pbited superior performance,egg quality,deposition of trace minerals in the egg yolk,and bone density compared to hens fed *** this study,older laying hens supplemented with ZMCAA at lower levels demonstrated adequate levels of supplementation.

background Low crude protein(CP)formulations with supplemental amino acids(AA)are used to enhance intestinal health,reduce costs,minimize environmental impact,and maintain growth performance of ***,extensive reduction of dietary CP can compromise growth performance due to limited synthesis of non-essential AA and limited availability of bioactive compounds from protein supplements even when AA requirements are ***,implementing a low CP formulation can increase the net energy(NE)content in feeds causing excessive fat *** supplementation of functional AA,coupled with low CP formulation could further enhance intestinal health and glucose metabolism,improving nitrogen utilization,and growth *** experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of low CP formulations with supplemental AA on the intestinal health and growth performance of growing-finishing *** In Exp.1,90 pigs(19.7±1.1 kg,45 barrows and 45 gilts)were assigned to 3 treatments:CON(18.0%CP,supplementing Lys,Met,and Thr),LCP(16.0%CP,supplementing Lys,Met,Thr,Trp,and Val),and LCPT(16.1%CP,LCP+0.05%SID Trp).In Exp.2,72 pigs(34.2±4.2 kg bW)were assigned to 3 treatments:CON(17.7%CP,meeting the requirements of Lys,Met,Thr,and Trp);LCP(15.0%CP,meeting Lys,Thr,Trp,Met,Val,Ile,and Phe);and VLCP(12.8%CP,meeting Lys,Thr,Trp,Met,Val,Ile,Phe,His,and Leu).In Exp.3,72 pigs(54.1±5.9 kg bW)were assigned to 3 treatments and fed experimental diets for 3 phases(grower 2,finishing 1,and finishing 2).Treatments were CON(18.0%,13.8%,12.7%CP for 3 phases;meeting Lys,Met,Thr,and Trp);LCP(13.5%,11.4%,10.4%CP for 3 phases;meeting Lys,Thr,Trp,Met,Val,Ile,and Phe);and LCPG(14.1%,12.8%,11.1%CP for 3 phases;LCP+Glu to match SID Glu with CON).All diets had 2.6 Mcal/kg *** In Exp.1,overall,the growth performance did not differ among *** LCPT increased(Pb0AT exp

Comprehensive studies identify motor neuron spectrum disorders including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)as globally rising fatal disorders with the highest prevalence in aging populations,influenced by ethnicity and ancestry(GbD 2016 Motor Neuron Disease Colla borators,2018).While~10% of diagnoses involve a family history(fALS),most cases are considered sporadic(sALS).However,population-based studies suggest that even cases without a common index mutation impart heritability(Ryan et al.,2019),indicating a crucial role of rare and as yet unknown genetic denominators.

This cross-sectional study examined the lower limb balance,ankle dorsiflexion,orofacial tissue pressure,and occlusal strength of rugby ***-six participants were divided into groups:rugby players(n=13)and healthy sedentary adults(n=13).Participants underwent an analysis of lower limb balance using a composite score(Y-balance Test).Ankle dorsiflexion was measured using the Lunge *** Iowa Oral Performance Instrument was employed to measure orofacial tissue *** force was measured with a dynamometer,and T-Scan assessed occlusal contact *** were analyzed using the t-test(pble to verify that these factors did not influence the results *** differences were observed in the balance of the right(p=0.07)and left(p=0.02)lower limbs,where rugby players had lower composite *** were significant differences in the right(p=0.005)and left(p=0.004)lunges,with rugby players showing lower values,as well as lower tongue pressure(p=0.01)and higher lip pressure(p=0.03),with significant differences to sedentary *** was no significant difference in molar bite force and distribution occlusal contacts between *** seems to reduce lower limb displacement,cause ankle hypomobility,lead to changes in orofacial tissues,particularly the tongue and *** study is significant for identifying significant differences between rugby players and sedentary individuals,providing new insights into the impact of rugby on health and performance,which can benefit sports training and injury prevention.

: Hamartomas of the bile duct (von Meyenburg complex) are benign neoplasms of the liver, constituted histologically cystic dilatations of the bile duct, encompassed by fibrous stroma. We report a 42-year-old female patient with symptomatic cholecystitis, whose gross and ultrasonic appearance suggestive of multiple liver metastases. Magnetic resonance imaging and liver biopsy are the gold standards for diagnosis of this rare hepatobiliary condition.

双关作为一种常见修辞格,被广泛应用于广告宣传。本文将双关广告语划分为语义双关广告语与谐音双关广告语,选取精致和真挚两个重要品牌个性,讨论二者间匹配关系及效应,并通过6个实验(4个实验室实验和2个田野实验)检验了此匹配效应。本文发现,一方面,语义双关比谐音双关的理解难度更大,对语义(vs.谐音)双关广告语的理解过程更复杂(vs.简单);另一方面,精致(vs.真挚)品牌会给人一种复杂(vs.简单)的感知。故语义双关与精致品牌更匹配,谐音双关与真挚品牌更匹配,两者的匹配关系可以提升消费者的购买意愿、产品态度和真实点击。本文结论可为品牌和广告商提供实践借鉴。

Physiological and perceptual responses to sprint interval exercise using arm versus leg cycling ergometry

Increases in power output and maximal oxygen consumption(V_O2max)occur in response to sprint interval exercise(SIE),but common use of“all-out”intensities presents a barrier for many ***,lower-body SIE is not feasible for all *** compared physiological and perceptual responses to supramaximal,but“nonall-out”SIE between leg and arm cycling ***-four active adults(mean±SD age:[25±7]y;cycling VO_(2)max:[39±7]mL·kg^(-1)·min^(-1))performed incremental exercise using leg(LCE)and arm cycle ergometry(ACE)to determine VO_(2)max and maximal work capacity(Wmax).Subsequently,they performed four 20 s bouts of SIE at 130% Wmax on the LCE or ACE at cadence=120-130 rev/min,with 2 min recovery between *** exchange data,heart rate(HR),blood lactate concentration(bLa),rating of perceived exertion(RPE),and affective valence were *** showed significantly lower(pbsolute mean([1.24±0.31]L·min^(-1) vs.[1.59±0.34]L·min^(-1);d=1.08)and peak VO_(2)([1.79±0.48]L·min^(-1) vs.[2.10±0.44]L·min^(-1);d=0.70)with ACE versus ***,ACE elicited significantly higher(pbLa was significantly higher([7.0±1.7]mM vs.[5.7±1.5]mM,p=0.024,d?0.83)for LCE versus *** was no significant effect of modality on RPE or affective valence(p>0.42),and lowest affective valence recorded(2.0±1.8)was considered“good to fairly good”.Data show that non“all-out”ACE elicits lower absolute but higher relative HR and VO_(2) compared to *** aversive perceptual responses could make this non-all-out modality feasible for inactive adults.
