Chitin powder and chitin-aerogel were prepared f.om shrimp wastes and used to uptake Y^(3+)f.om aqueous solutions and concentrate this rare earth element f.om phosphogypsum(PG).Chitin aerogel displays a specif.c surf.ce area of.945 m^(2)/g,while chitin powder is 3.6 m^(2)/g,which largely inf.uences its adsorption *** the adsorption in synthetic solutions,the ef.ect of.pH on Y^(3+)removal is strong f.r chitin powder *** contrast,no big pH inf.uence was detected f.r chitin *** interactions and chelation can highlight the proposed mechanism of.Y^(3+)on chitin adsorbents f.r the powder and ***,in addition to these interactions,pore f.lling/pore dif.usion is the main mechanism of.Y^(3+)removal in the chitin *** aerogel is ef.icient in concentrating 8 times the Y^(3+)f.om PG,a very complex *** complex chitin aerogel-Y^(3+)can be a secondary source of.rare earth elements f.r other applications.

Bladder cancer(BC)is the 10th most common cancer worldwide,with about 0.5 million reported new cases and about 0.2 million deaths per *** this scoping review,we summarize the current evidence regarding the clinical implications of.single-cell sequencing f.r bladder cancer based on PRISMA *** searched PubMed,CENTRAL,Embase,and supplemented with manual searches through the Scopus,and Web of.Science f.r published studies until f.bruary *** included original studies that used at least one single-cell technology to study bladder ***-one publications were included in the ***-nine studies showed that this technology can identif. cell subtypes in the tumor microenvironment that may predict prognosis or response to immune checkpoint inhibition *** studies were able to diagnose BC by identif.ing neoplastic cells through single-cell sequencing urine *** remaining studies were mainly a preclinical exploration of.tumor microenvironment at single cell ***-cell sequencing technology can discriminate heterogeneity in bladder tumor cells and determine the key molecular properties that can lead to the discovery of.novel perspectives on cancer *** nascent tool can advance the early diagnosis,prognosis judgment,and targeted therapy of.bladder cancer.

Objectives:The Brazilian Unif.ed Health System(SistemaÚnico de Saúde−SUS)is the universal public healthcare system of.Brazil that maintains a nationwide database of.its *** primary objective was to analyze regional and temporal trends,while our secondary goal was to establish correlations between states’health economy status and their prostate cancer(PCa)***:We analyzed Brazil’s nationwide data on prostate cancer(PCa)incidence,mortality,and care gathered between 2013 and 2021 by the Inf.rmation Technology Department of.SUS(DATA-SUS),updated monthly using the International Classif.cation of.Diseases(ICD-10)***:In the period,273,933 new cases of.PCa and 135,336 PCa deaths were reported in men aged 50 years or over in *** median annual PCa-specif.c incidence rate(PCSIR)ranged f.om 14.7 in the Southeast to 6.9 in the North region and the median annual PCa-specif.c mortality rate(PCSMR)ranged f.om 7.7 in the Northeast to 6.0 in the South region(per 10,000 men>50).The median annual mortality to incidence ratio(MIR)was highest in the North(0.88)and lowest in the Southeast region(0.44).There were signif.cant regional dif.erences in PCa treatment rates(per new cases);the Midwest region had the highest median annual surgery rate(0.63)while the North region had the highest median annual systemic therapy rate(0.75)and the lowest radiation therapy rate(0.06).Temporal analysis of.the data showed signif.cant change in annual rate trends af.er the year 2018 f.r PCSIR(coef.icient[β]=+3.66,pf.er the 2020 pandemic,annual PCSIR decreased(β=−2.15,p=0.002)but annual PCSMR,MIR,and treatment rates remained *** studies showed that the PCSIR was strongly negatively correlated with STR(p<0.001)and positively correlated with RTR(p=0.004).MIR was positively correlated with STR(p<0.001)and ne

Some of.the problems attributed to traditional laboratory analyses that limit the correct assessment of.the nutrient contents in the soil are time requirements and high cost of.the soil nutrient *** solve these problems,a study was carried out to evaluate the use of.visible,near-inf.ared,and short-wave inf.ared(Vis-NIR-SWIR)spectroscopy in the prediction of.soil available ions submitted to the application of.rock *** study was carried out on an Arenosol in ParanavaíCity/***(rock powders)were arranged within a split-plot system designed in randomized blocks with f.ur *** was cultivated f.r 14 months af.er the application of.rock ***,96 soil samples were collected f.r measuring the pH and available ions P,K^(+),Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+),S-SO_(4)^(2-),Si,Cu^(2+),f.^(2+),Mn^(2+),and Zn^(2+)as well as spectral reading through a Vis-NIR-SWIR spectroradiometer to predict the soil chemical attributes through the partial least square regression(PLS)*** results showed that the elements K^(+),Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+),Cu^(2+),and f.^(2+)could be predicted with a reasonable rightness degree(R^(2)_(p)>0.50,RPDp>1.40)f.om spectral ***,f.r the attributes pH,P,S-SO_(4)^(2-),Si,Mn^(2+),and Zn^(2+),there were no satisf.ctory models(R^(2)_(p)f.rock powder changed the spectral curves and,because of.that,allows the building of.PLS models to predict the elements K^(+),Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+),Cu^(2+),and f.^(2+).Theref.re,Vis-NIR-SWIR spectroscopy is a promising alternative to the routine analyses of.soil f.rtility since it has advantages such as f.st analytical speed,low cost,easy to operate,non-destructive,and environmentally f.iendly,because it does not use harmf.l chemicals.
