BAcKGROUND Differential diagnosis,comorbidities and overlaps with other psychiatric disorders are common among adults with autism spectrum disorder(ASD),but clinical assessments often omit screening for personality disorders(PD),which are especially common in individuals with high-functioning ASD where there is less need for *** To summarize the research findings on PD in adults with ASD and without intellectual disability,focusing on comorbidity and differential *** PubMed searches were performed using the key words“Asperger’s Syndrome”,“Autism”,“Personality”,“Personality disorder”and“comorbidity”in order to identify relevant articles published in *** literature was identified through searching Google *** literature reviews and reference sections of selected papers were also examined for additional potential *** search was restricted to studies published up to April *** review is based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses *** The search found 22 studies carried out on ASD adults without intellectual disability that met the inclusion criteria:16 evaluated personality profiles or PD in ASD(comorbidity),five compared ASD and PD(differential diagnosis)and one performed both *** were significant differences in the methodological cluster A and cluster c PD are the most frequent co-occurring PD,but overlapping features should be *** on differential diagnosis were only found with cluster A and cluster B *** ASD in high-functioning adults is associated with a distinct personality profile even if variability *** studies are needed to explore the complex relationship between ASD and PD.

This work deals with a finite element procedure developed to perform the eigenvalue analysis of damped gyroscopic systems, represented by flexible rotors supported on fluid film journal bearings. The rotor finite element model is based on the Timoshenko beam theory, accounting for the shaft rotary inertia and gyroscopic moments. The governing equations for the hydrodynamic journal bearing are obtained through the Galerkin weighted residual method applied to the classical Reynolds equation. A perturbation scheme on the fluid film governing equation permits to obtain the zero-th and first order lubrication equations for the bearings, which allow the computation of the dynamic force coefficients associated with the bearing stiffness and damping. The rotor-bearing system equation, which consists of a case of damped gyroscopic equation, is rewritten on state form to compute the complex eigenvalues. The natural frequencies at several operating conditions are obtained and compared to the technical literature data. The influence of the effective damping on the eigenvalue real part sign is analyzed for some examples of rotor-bearing systems, showing how the stability conditions can be predicted by the eigenvalue analysis. The procedure implemented in this work can provide useful guidelines and technical data about the selection of the more appropriate set of bearing parameters for rotating machines operating at stringent conditions.

Treatment options for Alzheimer＇s disease （AD） are limited because of the inability of drugs to cross the blood-brain barrier （BBB）. A promising strategy to overcome this obstacle is the use of nanoparticles （NPs）. Previously, we showed that intraperitoneal administration of liposomes functionalized with phosphatidic acid and an ApoE-derived peptide （mApoE-PA-LIP） reduces brain beta-amyloid （A） burden and ameliorates impaired memory in AD mice. Here, we investigated lung administration as an alternative, non-invasive NP delivery route for reaching the brain. Our results show that mApoE-PA-LIP were able to cross the pulmonary epithelium （[c]-PA permeability = 6.5 ＋ 2.0 × 10^4 cm/min） in vitro and reach the brain （up to 0.6 μg PA/g brain） following in vivo intratracheal instillations. Lung administration of mApoE-PA-LIP to AD mice significantly decreased total brain Aβ （-60%; p 〈 0.05） compared to untreated mice. These results suggest that pulmonary administration could be exploited for brain delivery of NPs designed for AD therapy.

Two series of 3d-Gd mixed-metal phosphonate complexes with either only two gadolinium centers such as{Gd2},{Ni2Gd2},{co4Gd2},{co8Gd2},{Fe6Gd2},and{Fe17Gd2}or more than two gadoliniums such as{co8Gd4},{Mn8Gd4},{co4Gd6},{Mn4Gd6},{co6Gd8},{Ni5Gd8},{Ni6Gd6},{co8Gd8},and{Mn9Gd9}have been solvothermally prepared and magnetothermally *** nearly identical environments of the Gd(III)dimer in theﬁrst series allow us to qualitatively analyze the effect of magnetic exchange coupling on the magne-tocaloric effect(McE).By doubling,tripling,or quadrupling of the Gd(III)centers,the second series of 3d-Gd mixed-metal complexes was built to further test the other effects of exchange couplings on McE in more complicated *** the antiferromagnetic coupling cases,the results are nearly identical but diversify when topological spin frustrations are created,whose massive low-lying excited spin states help enhance *** presumably ferromagnetically coupled ones,albeit are rare in phosphonate complexes,they do exhibit excellent ***,the com-plexes with weakly coupled metal centers serve as excellent examples for studying the effect of molecular mass on McE when its magnitude is expressed in the unit of Joule per kilogram,from which we can see the values are directly proportional to the percentage of the Gd(III)ions in molecular weight.

Unraveling and optimizing the metal-metal oxide synergistic effect in a highly active co_(x)(coO)_(1–x) catalyst for cO_(2) hydrogenation

The relation between catalytic reactivities and metal/metal oxide ratios, as well as the functions of the metal and the metal oxides were investigated in the cO_2 hydrogenation reaction over highly active co_x(coO)_(1–x)catalysts in operando. The catalytic reactivity of the samples in the cO_2 methanation improves with the increased co O concentration. Strikingly, the sample with the highest concentration of coO, i.e., co_(0.2)(coO)_(0.8), shows activity at temperatures lower than 200 °c where the other samples with less coO are inactive. The origins of this improvement are the increased amount and moderate binding of adsorbed cO_2 on coO sites. The derivative adsorption species are found to be intermediates of the cH4 formation. The metallic co functions as the electronically catalytic site which provides electrons for the hydrogenation steps. As a result, an abundant amount of coO combined with co is the optimal composition of the catalyst for achieving the highest reactivity for cO_2 hydrogenation.
