Nano phosphors of 2%Dy^(3+)(wt%)doped La_(2)mgTiO_(6) and monovalent/divalent/trivalent co-doped La_(1.98)Dy_(0.02)mgTiO_(6):x%A^(y+)(A^(y+):Li+,Ba^(2+),Sr^(2+),Bi^(3+),and Sm^(3+);0≤x≤2 wt%)were synthesized by combustion *** the XRD data,it is deduced that an increase in the valency of co-dopant increases the crystallinity of the double perovskite orthorhombic nanocrystal *** an increase in co-dopant size,an elevation in optical bandgap is visible with the highest bandgap of 3.835 eV for Bi^(3+).The photo-absorption is monotonically broadened for Sr^(2+),Sm^(3+),and Li+around 200-450 ***351 nm,Dy^(3+)triggered lattice shows major characteristic emission peaks at 480 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(15/2)),574 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(13/2)),and 670 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(11/2)).leading to near white light emission with cIE coordinates(0.341,0.376).Upon co-doping,the PL intensity is significantly increased with maximum emission for trivalent Sm^(3+),followed by divalent Sr^(2+)and monovalent Li+*** increasing excitation wavelength,Sr^(2+)shows a dominated output and it is found that divalent Sr^(2+)is a potential codopant that could enhance luminescence intensity up to 6 times with a Sr^(2+)→Dy^(3+)energy transfer efficiency of 86%.It is specified that the cIE coordinates of Li+co-doped samples show ideal white emission with color coordinates(0.333,0.336).The concluding outcomes signify the noblest rare earth Sm^(3+)co-doping and thus Sm^(3+)→Dy^(3+)energy transfer mechanism is discussed in detail.

The experimental analysis takes too much time-consuming process and requires considerable effort, while, the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithms are simple, affordable, and fast, and they allow us to make a relevant analysis in establishing an appropriate relationship between the input and output parameters. This paper deals with the use of back-propagation ANN algorithms for the experimental data of heat transfer coefficient, Nusselt number, and friction factor of water-based Fe 3 O 4 -TiO 2 magnetic hybrid nanofluids in a mini heat sink under magnetic fields. The data considered for the ANN network is at different Reynolds numbers (239 to 1874), different volume concentrations (0% to 2.0%), and different magnetic fields (250 to 1000 G), respectively. Three types of ANN back-propagation algorithms Levenberg-marquardt (Lm), Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno Quasi Newton (BFGS), and Variable Learning Rate Gradient Descent (VLGD) were used to train the heat transfer coefficient, Nusselt number, and friction factor data, respectively. The ANOVA t -test analysis was also performed to determine the relative accuracy of the three ANN algorithms. The Nusselt number of 2.0% vol. of Fe 3 O 4 -TiO 2 hybrid nanofluid is enhanced by 38.16% without a magnetic field, and it is further enhanced by 88.93% with the magnetic field of 1000 Gauss at a Reynolds number of 1874, with respect to the base fluid. A total of 126 datasets of heat transfer coefficient, Nusselt number, and friction factor were used as input and output data. The three ANN algorithms of Lm, BFGS, and VLGD, have shown good acceptance with the experimental data with root-mean-square errors of 0.34883, 0.25341, and 1.0202 with correlation coefficients (R 2 ) of 0.99954, 0.9967, and 0.94501, respectively, for the Nusselt number data. moreover, the three ANN algorithms predict root-mean-square errors of 0.001488, 0.005041, and 0.006924 with correlation coefficients (R 2 ) of 0.99982, 0.99976, and 0.99486, respect

Simple statistical models were developed to relate available meteorological data with daily river discharge （RD） for rivers not influenced by melting of ice and snow. In a case study of the Vouga River （Portugal）, the RD could be determined by a linear combination of the recent （PR） and non-recent （PNR） atmospheric precipitation history. It was found that a simple linear model including only PR and PnR cannot account for low RD. The model was improved by including non-linear terms of precipitation that accounted for the water loss. Additional improvement of the models was possible by including average monthly air temperature （7）. The best model was robust when up to 60% of the original data were randomly removed. The advantage is the simplicity of the models, which take into account only PR, PNR and T. These models can provide a useful tool for RD estimation from current meteorological data.

Assessing the Potential of Innovative clay Designs for Enhancing Oyster Reef Restoration

The restoration of European flat oyster (Ostrea edulis) population is critical for biodiversity and ecosystem services recovery. This study evaluates the potential of innovative clay substrates, developed and patented by Oyster Heaven, as cost-effective and degradable alternatives for large-scale oyster reef restoration. Field trials conducted in an oyster aquaculture site and hatchery experiments under controlled conditions assessed the larvae settlement efficiency, microbial biofilm composition, and environmental influences. Results showed significantly lower larvae recruitment on clay prototypes and spat collectors used as control, in wild conditions, with environmental factors such as temperature and hypoxia playing a key role. In the hatchery, larvae preferred oyster shells (17,174 ± 659 spats/m2) over clay prototypes (2917 ± 111 spats/m2) and spat collectors (1451 ± 160 spats/m2). microbial analysis revealed a shift towards cyanobacteria and Woeseia species, with Pseudoalteromonadaceae, a genus previously linked to both stimulating and inhibiting larvae settlement, detected only on clay surfaces. Despite challenges, the clay prototypes demonstrated potential as sustainable substrates for restoration, particularly in managed “spats-on-reefs” strategies. This research highlights the importance of environmental monitoring, microbial interactions, and substrate optimization in enhancing restoration success for O. edulis populations. Further investigations are recommended to refine clay designs and assess their broader applicability under variable environmental conditions.

BAcKGROUND Equations for estimation glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)have been associated with poor clinical performance and their clinical accuracy and reliability have been called into *** To assess the longitudinal changes in measured glomerular filtration rate(mGFR)in patients with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease(ADPKD).mETHODS Analysis of an ambispective data base conducted on consecutive patients diagnosed with *** mGFR was assessed by iohexol clearance;while eGFR was calculated by three different formulas:(1)The chronic kidney disease epidemiology collaboration(cKD-EPI);(2)modification of diet in renal disease(mDRD);and(3)The 24-hour urine creatinine clearance(crcl).The primary end-points were the mean change in mGFR between the baseline and final visit,as well as the comparison of the mean change in mGFR with the change estimated by the different *** Thirty-seven patients were included in the *** compared to baseline,month-6 mGFR was significantly decrease by-4.4 mL/minute±10.3 mL/minute(P=0.0132).However,the cKD-EPI,mDRD,and crcl formulas underestimated this change by 48.3%,89.0%,and 45.8%respectively,though none of these differences reached statistical significance(P=0.3647;P=0.0505;and P=0.736,respectively).The discrepancies between measured and estimated glomerular filtration rate values,as evaluated by cKD-EPI(r=0.29,P=0.086);mDRD(r=0.19,P=0.272);and crcl(r=0.09,P=0.683),were not correlated with baseline mGFR *** This study indicated that eGFR inaccurately reflects the decline in mGFR and cannot reliably track changes over *** poses significant challenges for clinical decision-making,particularly in treatment strategies.
