The Caenorhabditis elegans pharynx is a neuromuscular tube of which the func-tion is to pump and crush bacteria,and inject them into the *** 80-cellpharynx develops via the morphogenesis and differentiation of the ceils that com-pose its semi-spherical primordiurn,and requires the activity of several evolution-arily conserved genes,such as pha-4 (the homolog to the Drosophilaforkheadand vertebrate FoxA),ceh-22 (the homolog to the Drosophila tinman and verte-brate Nkx2.5),and pha-2 (the homolog to the vertebrate Hex).There are 20 neu-rons in the pharynx,each with a reproducible unique *** analysis of axon guidance in the pharynx indicates that some axon trajec-tories are in part established without growth cones,whereas other parts necessi-tate growth cone function and *** we provide an overview of thedevelopmental genetics of the Caenorhabditis elegans pharynx,with an empha-sis on its nervous system.

Herein,we have presented a supercapacitor based on carbide derived carbon（CDC） electrode with natural graphite（NG） *** capacitor was analyzed at 22°C by cyclic voltammetry,galvanostatic charge-discharge and impedance techniques using a 0.5 mol/L of magnesium（II）bis（trifluoro methanesulfonyl） imide（mg TFSI） in ethylene carbonate-propylene carbonate（EC ：PC = 1 ：1,v/v） as *** results conclude that the CDC cell enhancements have been proven by the composite electrode（5%–30% NG to CDC） especially on the cell efficiency and voltage i.e.,the CDC cell around 2.5 V limit was *** obtainable specific capacitance,real power and energy density are 15 F g-1,1.2 k W kg-1and 15 Wh kg-1,respectively.

Introduction:The Canadian Forest Fire Danger Rating System(CFFDRS)is a globally known wildland fire risk assessment system,and two major components,the fire weather index system and the fire behavior prediction system,have been extensively used both nationally and internationally to aid operational wildland fire decision ***:In this paper,we present an overview of an R package cffdrs,which is developed to calculate components of the CFFDRS,and highlight some of its *** particular,we demonstrate how these functions could be used for large data *** and Discussion:With this cffdrs package,we provide a portal for not only a collection of R functions dealing with all available components in CFFDRS but also a platform for various additional developments that are useful for the understanding of fire occurrence and *** is the first time that all relevant CFFDRS methods are incorporated into the same platform,which can be accessed by both the management and research communities.

Future Geo SAR missions are expected to provide higher resolution radar images featuring shorter revisit times by locating a radar payload on-board of a geostationary satellite. One of the main challenges in Geo SAR processing is accurately determining the satellite orbit to obtain a precise phase history, in order to properly focus the retrieved data. To tackle this challenge, a multiple baseline ground-based interferometer is proposed as a compact and reliable method to achieve an unprecedented accuracy. As a proof of concept, this paper presents the results obtained from a single baseline prototype, whose results can be extrapolated to a larger system, able to be used in future missions.

Optimization of composition and microstructure is important to enhance performance of solid oxide fuel cells （SOFC） and lithium-ion batteries （LIB）. For this, the porous electrode structures of both SOFC and LIB are modeled as a binary mixture of electronic and ionic conducting particles to estimate effective transport properties. Particle packings of 10000 spherical, binary sized and randomly positioned particles are created numerically and densified considering the different manufacturing processes in SOFC and LIB： the sintering of SOFC electrodes is approximated geometrically, whereas the calendering process and volume change due to intercalation in LIB are modeled physically by a discrete el- ement approach. A combination of a tracking algorithm and a resistor network approach is developed to predict the con- nectivity and effective conductivity for the various densified structures. For SOFC, a systematic study of the influence of morphology on connectivity and conductivity is performed on a large number of assemblies with different compositions and particle size ratios between 1 and 10. In comparison to percolation theory, an enlarged percolation area is found, es- pecially for large size ratios. It is shown that in contrast to former studies the percolation threshold correlates to varying coordination numbers. The effective conductivity shows not only an increase with volume fraction as expected but also with size ratio. For LIB, a general increase of conductivity during the intercalation process was observed in correlation with increasing contact forces. The positive influence of cal- endering on the percolation threshold and the effective conductivity of carbon black is shown. The anisotropy caused by the calendering process does not influence the carbon black phase.

Few global syntheses of oxygen and carbon isotope composition of pedogenic carbonates have been attempted,unlike marine *** carbonates represent in-situ indicators of the climate conditions prevailing on *** δ^(18)O and δ^(13)C values of pedogenic carbonates are controlled by local and global factors,many of them not affecting the marine carbonates largely used to probe global climate *** compile pedogenic oxygen and carbon isotopic data(N=12,167)fromCretaceous to Quaternary-aged paleosols to identify potential trends through time and tie them to possible controlling *** discrete events such as the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal maximum are clearly evidenced,our analysis reveals an increasing complexity in the distribution of the δ^(18)O vs δ^(13)C values through the *** could be expected,the rise of C4 plants induces a shift towards higherδ13C values during the Neogene and *** also show that the increase in global hypsometry during the Neogene plays a major role in controlling the δ^(18)O and δ^(13)C values of pedogenic carbonates by increasing aridity downwind of orographic ***,during the Quaternary,an increase of 3‰in δ^(18)O values is recorded both by the pedogenic carbonates and the marine foraminifera suggesting that both indicators may be used to track global climate signal.

The taxonomic and nomenclatural history of the genus Ganoderma and related basidiomycetes is reviewed and compared to recent studies on its molecular phylogeny.A basidiomycete belonging to the genus Ganoderma can often rather easily be recognised in the field from the macromorphological characters of the *** most important species and lineages can also be discriminated well by molecular ***,the application of incongruent species concepts and the frequent misapplication of European names by chemists and other non-taxonomists have created confusion in the scientific *** identity of the species reported in the course of mycochemical studies can often not be verified,since no voucher material was *** this review,an overview on the most important types of specific chemotaxonomic traits(i.e.,secondary metabolites of the basidiomes and mycelia)reported from the genus is *** certain triterpenoids such as ganoderic and lucidenic acids,steroids(***)and triterpenes(***)appear to have some chemotaxonomic value at the generic rank,their relevance for species discrimination remains to be *** propose that all important names in Ganoderma should be,as required,epitypified by fresh collections for which living cultures should be made available and that these should be examined by a combination of morphological,chemotaxonomic and molecular phylogenetic methods to attain a more stable taxonomy.
