A novel scheme‘user assisted cooperative relaying in beamspace massive multiple input multiple output(M-MIMO)non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)system’has been proposed to improve coverage area,spectrum and energy efficiency for millimeter wave(mmWave)communications.A downlink system for M users,where base station(BS)is equipped with beamforming lens antenna structure having NRF radio frequency(RF)chains,has been considered.A dynamic cluster of users is formed within a beam and the intermediate users(in that cluster)between beam source and destination(user)act as relaying *** the use of successive interference cancellation(SIC)technique of NOMA within a cluster,the relaying stations relay the symbols with improved power to the *** maximizing achievable sum rate,transmit precoding and dynamic power allocation for both intra and inter beam power optimization are *** for performance evaluation are carried out to validate that the proposed system outperforms the conventional beamspace M-MIMO NOMA system for mmWave communications in terms of spectrum and energy efficiency.

Iron pyrite has been reported as a kind of potential material for arsenic(As)removal from the groundwater because it exhibits a strong attraction in groundwater for both arsenite and arsenate *** this study,batch adsorption experiments were carried out to determine the optimum conditions for As adsorption by the iron pyrite adsorbent,including the initial concentration,adsorbent dosage ratio,pH,temperature and stirring *** characterization methods were employed to identify the mechanism of As *** removal efficiency for As(Ⅲ)was observed 93%at pH=7,and for As(Ⅴ)was 95%observed at pH=*** model resulted in the maximum adsorption capacity(q_(m))for As(Ⅲ)and As(Ⅴ)were 571.7 and 671.1μg/g,respectively,as well as the experiments were found to be favorable as separation factor R_(L)1)indicates favorable *** pseudo-first and second-order kinetic models also fitted *** addition of oxalate on the adsorbent surface plays an important role for the recycling of Fe(Ⅱ)/Fe(Ⅲ)to minimize the arsenic *** surface area,ion exchange mechanism and structure of adsorbent confirmed that addition of oxalate could enhance the surface area of adsorbent.

In machining processes,researchers are actively engaged in exploring minimum quantity lubrication(MQL)as a possible alternative to traditional flood cooling owing to economic and ecological *** search for ecologically safe lubricants has attracted the attention of scientists looking to use vegetable oil as a *** nanofluid MQL technique with biodegradable oils as the base is a relatively new method with the potential to replace mineral *** the present study,the grinding of Inconel-718 alloy was investigated using nanofluid MQL(NFMQL)with biodegradable oils as the *** are composed by dispersing 0.5%(mass fraction)and 1%(mass fraction)of CuO nanoparticles in vegetable *** surface morphology,G-ratio,forces,and grinding energy were examined under pure MQL,NFMQL,and dry and flood lubrication *** experimental results indicated that the nanofluid MQL significantly improved the machining *** to the polishing and rolling effect of nanoparticles on the tool work interface,a surface finish under a 0.5%(mass fraction)nanofluid was found to be better than pure MQL-dry and flood lubrication *** NFMQL technique with 1%(mass fraction)CuO nanoparticles with palm oil as the base helped in achieving a better evacuation of chips from the grinding zone,leading to a better surface finish with a high material removal rate along with less energy consumption compared to flood and dry grinding.

Source Code Prioritization Using Forward Slicing for Exposing Critical Elements in a Program

Even after thorough testing, a few bugs still remain in a program with moderate complexity. These residual bugs are randomly distributed throughout the code. We have noticed that bugs in some parts of a program cause frequent and severe failures compared to those in other parts. Then, it is necessary to take a decision about what to test more and what to test less within the testing budget. It is possible to prioritize the methods and classes of an object-oriented program according to their potential to cause failures. For this, we propose a program metric called influence metric to find the influence of a program element on the source code. First, we represent the source code into an intermediate graph called extended system dependence graph. Then, forward slicing is applied on a node of the graph to get the influence of that node. The influence metric for a method m in a program shows the number of statements of the program which directly or indirectly use the result produced by method m. We compute the influence metric for a class c based on the influence metric of all its methods. As influence metric is computed statically, it does not show the expected behavior of a class at run time. It is already known that faults in highly executed parts tend to more failures. Therefore, we have considered operational profile to find the average execution time of a class in a system. Then, classes are prioritized in the source code based on influence metric and average execution time. The priority of an element indicates the potential of the element to cause failures. Once all program elements have been prioritized, the testing effort can be apportioned so that the elements causing frequent failures will be tested thoroughly. We have conducted experiments for two well-known case studies -- Library Management System and Trading Automation System -- and successfully identified critical elements in the source code of each case study. Fractional calculus and special functions have contributed a lot to mathematical physics and its various branches. The great use of mathematical physics in distinguished astrophysical problems has attracted astronomers and physicists to pay more attention to available mathematical tools that can be widely used in solving several problems of astrophysics/physics. In view of the great importance and usefulness of kinetic equations in certain astrophysical problems, the authors derive a generalized fractional kinetic equation involving the Lorenzo-Hartley function, a generalized function for fractional calculus. The fractional kinetic equation discussed here can be used to investigate a wide class of known （and possibly also new） fractional kinetic equations, hitherto scattered in the literature. A compact and easily computable solution is established in terms of the Lorenzo-Hartley function. Special cases, involving the generalized Mittag-Leffler function and the R-function, are considered. The obtained results imply the known results more precisely.

Additive manufacturing(AM)technologies such as fused deposition modeling(FDM)rely on the quality of manufactured products and the process ***,the dimensional accuracy and stability of any AM process is essential for ensuring that customer specifications are satisfied at the highest standard,and variations are controlled without significantly affecting the functioning of processes,machines,and product *** study aims to investigate the effects of FDM fabrication conditions on the dimensional accuracy of cylindrical *** this study,a new class of experimental design techniques for integrated second-order definitive screening design(DSD)and an artificial neural network(ANN)are proposed for designing experiments to evaluate and predict the effects of six important operating *** determining the optimum fabrication conditions to obtain better dimensional accuracies for cylindrical parts,the time consumption and number of complex experiments are reduced considerably in this *** optimum fabrication conditions generated through a second-order DSD are verified with experimental *** results indicate that the slice thickness,part print direction,and number of perimeters significantly affect the percentage of length difference,whereas the percentage of diameter difference is significantly affected by the raster-to-raster air gap,bead width,number of perimeters,and part print ***,the results demonstrate that a second-order DSD integrated with an ANN is a more attractive and promising methodology for AM applications.

Accelerated soil erosion,driven by anthropogenic activities such as conversion of natural ecosystems to agroecosystems and mechanical tillage,has numerous adverse impacts on ecosystem *** addition to degrading soil quality and reducing agronomic/biomass productivity on-site through a decrease in use-efficiency of inputs,off-site impacts of accelerated erosion include eutrophication and contamination,sedimentation of reservoirs and waterways,and emissions of greenhouse gases(e.g.,CO_(2),CH_(4) and N_(2)O).While advancing food and nutritional security,adoption of restorative land use and recommended management practices are important to strengthening numerous ecosystem services such as improving water quality and renewability,increasing below and above-ground biodiversity,enhancing soil resilience to climate change and extreme events,and mitigating climate change by sequestering C in soil and reducing the emission of CO_(2),CH_(4) and N_(2)*** effective control of accelerated erosion is essential to sustainable development and improving the environment.
