Dear editor,Traumatic orbital haemorrhage is an unfortunate complication with potential vision-threatening consequences.[1-3]The collection of blood can occur anywhere along the potential free orbital spaces,[4]but the subperiosteal collection of the blood is an important clinical variant where careful and timely intervention can give commendable rewards to the surgeon as well as to the patient.[1,2]subperiosteal hematoma could be traumatic or non-traumatic,in turns,the non-traumatic cases may be due to bleeding tendency as in cases of leukaemia.

This study explores the connections between renewable energy consumption(REC),non-renewable energy consumption(NREC),gross fixed capital formation(GFCF),the labor force(LF),and economic growth(GDP)in Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index(RECAI)countries for *** quantify the nexus between REC,NREC,and GDP while utilizing a production model framework and including the measures of labor and capital,for suggesting a phase-wise strategy to attain the sustainable development *** use robust methodologies including Lagrange Multiplier(LM)panel unit root tests with trend shifts,Westerlund cointegration test,LM bootstrap technique for cointegration with breaks,continuously updated fully modified(CUP-FM)and continuously updated bias-corrected(CUPBC)estimators,Augmented Mean Group(AMG)approach,fully modified ordinary least squares,dynamic ordinary least squares,Canonical Cointegrating Regression(CCR),and panel causality test proposed by Canning&*** compute non-parametric time-varying coefficients with fixed effects for seeing the impact of GFCF,LF,REC,and NREC on *** results press upon policymakers to shift toward clean energy and REC for attaining the environmental goals(sDGs 6,7,13,and 15)and the economic goals(sDGs 1,2,8,and 10).While this shift would help developed economies,which have already attained the economic goals,to progress on the front of environmental goals,it would enable developing countries to progress on both fronts in a balanced manner.

The rapid growth in railway infrastructure and the construction of high-speed heavy-haul rail network,especially on ground that is basically unsuitable,poses challenges for geotechnical engineers because a large part of the money invested in the development of railway lines is often spent on track *** fact around the world,the mud pumping of subgrade fines is one of the common reasons why track performance deteriorates and track stability is *** article presents a series of laboratory tests to examine following aspects of mud pumping:(1)the mechanisms of subgrade fluidisation under undrained condition,(2)the effects of mud pumping on the engineering characteristics of ballast,and(3)the use of vertical drains to stabilize subgrade under cyclic *** undrained cyclic triaxial testing on vulnerable soft subgrade was performed by varying the cyclic stress ratio(CsR)from 0.2 to 1.0 and the loading frequency f from 1.0 to 5.0 *** is seen from the test results that for a specimen compacted at an initial dry density of 1790 kg/m3,the top portion of the specimen fluidises at CsR=0.5,irrespective of the applied loading *** cyclic railway loading,the internal redistribution of water at the top of the subgrade layer softens the soil and also reduces its *** response to these problems,this paper explains how the inclusion of vertical drains in soft subgrade will help to prevent mud pumping by alleviating the build-up of excess pore pressures under moving train loads.

Five novel europium(Ⅲ)complexes with 2-[4-(dibutylamino)-2-hydroxybenzoyl]benzoic acid(DAHB)as primary ligand and bathophenanthroline(batho),2,2’-bipyridyl(bipy),5,6-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline(dmph),1,10-phenanthroline(phen)as ancillary ligands were syn-thesized via solution precipitation *** structural formulae of synthesized complexes were speculated to be Eu(DABH)_(3)·2H_(2)O(C1),Eu(DABH)_(3)·batho(C2),Eu(DABH)_(3)·bipy(C3),Eu(DABH)_(3)·dmph(C4)and Eu(DABH)_(3)·phen(C5)by elemental analysis,infrared spectroscopy and proton nuclear magnetic resonance spec-troscopy(^(1)H-NMR).The photoluminescent properties and thermal stability of the complexes were investigated by photoluminescent spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis(TG-DTG),*** Commission Inter-nationale de I’Eclairage(CIE)color coordinates,Judd–Ofelt intensity parameter(Ω_(2)),total quantum yield,intrinsic quantum efficiency and energy transfer dynamics of com-plexes were also *** excitation spectra of com-plexes are extended up to visible *** complexes exhibit characteristic photoemission of Eu^(3+)metal ion with high color purity in red region attributed to efficient energy transfer from ligand to metal *** replacement of water molecules from coordination sphere of europium ion by ancillary ligands results in enhancement of luminescent properties of the C2–C5 complexes,indicating that ancillary ligands act as additional light harvesting centers in sensiti-zation *** thermal studies show that these complexes are suitable for meeting the requirement of temperature for fabrication of OLEDs devices.

Leaf rust(LR) and stripe rust(YR) are important diseases in wheat producing areas worldwide and cause severe yield losses under favorable environmental conditions when susceptible varieties are grown. We determined the genetic basis of resistance to LR and YR in variety Borlaug 100 by developing and phenotyping a population of 198 F6 recombinant inbred lines derived from a cross with the susceptible parent Apav#1. LR and YR phenotyping were conducted for 4 and 3 seasons, respectively, at CIMMYT research stations in Mexico under artificial epidemics. Mendelian segregation analyses indicated that 3–5 LR and 2 YR genes conferred resistance in Borlaug 100. Lr46/Yr29(1 BL), Yr17(2 As) and Yr30(3 Bs) were present in the resistant parent and segregated in the RIL population based on characterization by molecular markers linked to these genes. When present alone, Lr46/Yr29 caused average 13% and 16% reductions in LR and YR severities, respectively, in RILs. similarly, Yr17 and Yr30 reduced YR severities by 57% and 11%, respectively. The Yr30 and the Yr17 translocation were also associated with 27% and 14% reductions, respectively, in LR severity, indicating that the 3 Bs and 2 As chromosomal regions likely carry new slow rusting LR resistance genes, temporarily designated as Lr B1 and Lr B2, respectively. Additive effects of Yr30*Yr17, Yr29*Yr17 and Yr29*Yr30 on YR and LR were significant and reduced YR severities by 56%,55%, and 45%, respectively, and LR severities by 34%, 40%, and 45%, respectively. Furthermore, interaction between the three genes was also significant, with mean reductions of 70% for YR and 54% for LR severities. Borlaug 100, or any one of the 21 lines with variable agronomic traits but carrying all three colocated resistance loci, can be used as resistance sources in wheat breeding programs.

Lead-free multiferroic composites of 1−x(K_(0.5)Na_(0.5)NbO_(3−x))(Co_(0.6)Zn_(0.4))(Fe_(1.7)Mn_(0.3))O_(4)(KNN-CZFMO),where x=0.0,0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4,0.5 and 1.0,have been investigated for their structural,morphological,electrical,magnetic,dielectric and magneto-dielectric *** of KNN and CZFMO crystal structure in each composite has been confirmed from X-ray diffrac-tion analysis(XRD).Cuboidal-shaped grains of KNN and spherical-shaped grains of CZFMO have been observed by scanning electron microscopy(sEM).The room temperature ferroelectric behavior as confirmed by polarization versus electric field(P-E)hysteresis loops has been found to be decreasing with increasing CZFMO *** magnetic ordering with the increase in CZFMO concentration in the prepared composites has been observed by magnetization versus magnetic field(M-H)hysteresis *** electrical conductivity of composites has been studied using Jonscher’s universal power *** room temperature dielectric constant(ε′)and dielectric loss(tanδ)have been observed to decrease with the increase in the frequency of the applied external electric *** dielectric relaxation behavior has been observed using curve fitting analysis via the Havriliak-Negami relaxation *** value of the magnetodielectric(MD)effect~−11%at a frequency of 1 kHz with the applied magnetic field of 1 T has been achieved for 0.9 KNN−0.1 CZFMO(x=0.1)composite in the present research work.
