Advanced treated municipal wastewater is an important alternative water source for agricultural ***,the possible persistence of chemical and microbiological contaminants in these waters raise potential safety concerns with regard to reusing treated wastewater for food crop *** low-cost and environmentally-friendly filter media,biochar(BC)and zero-valent iron(ZVI),have attracted great interest in terms of treating reused ***,we evaluated the efficacy of BC-,nanosilver-amended biochar-(Ag-BC)and ZVI-sand filters,in reducing contaminants of emerging concern(CECs),Escherichia coli(***)and total bacterial diversity from wastewater *** experiments were conducted with control quartz sand and sand columns containing BC,Ag-BC,ZVI,BC with ZVI,or Ag-BC with *** filtration,Ag-BC,ZVI,BC with ZVI and Ag-BC with ZVI demonstrated more than 90%(>1 log)removal of *** from wastewater samples,while BC,Ag-BC,BC with ZVI and Ag-BC with ZVI also demonstrated efficient removal of tested *** bacterial diversity was also observed after filtration;however,differences were marginally *** addition,significantly(p<0.05)higher bacterial diversity was observed in wastewater samples collected during warmer versus colder *** of silver ions occurred from Ag-BC columns;however,this was prevented through the addition of *** conclusion,our data suggest that the BC with ZVI and Ag-BC with ZVI sand filters,which demonstrated more than 99%removal of both CECs and *** without silver ion release,may be effective,low-cost options for decentralized treatment of reused wastewater.

Diabetes mellitus has been an increasing concern owing to its high morbidity,and the average age of individual affected by of individual affected by this disease has now decreased to *** the high prevalence,it is necessary to address with this problem *** researchers and doctors have now developed detection techniques based on artificial intelligence to better approach problems that are missed due to human *** mining techniques with algorithms such as-density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise and ordering points to identify the cluster structure,the use of machine vision systems to learn data on facial images,gain better features for model training,and diagnosis via presentation of iridocyclitis for detection of the disease through iris patterns have been deployed by various *** learning classifiers such as support vector machines,logistic regression,and decision trees,have been comparative discussed various *** learning models such as artificial neural networks and recurrent neural networks have been considered,with primary focus on long short-term memory and convolutional neural network architectures in comparison with other machine learning *** parameters such as the root-mean-square error,mean absolute errors,area under curves,and graphs with varying criteria are commonly *** this study,challenges pertaining to data inadequacy and model deployment are *** future scope of such methods has also been discussed,and new methods are expected to enhance the performance of existing models,allowing them to attain greater insight into the conditions on which the prevalence of the disease depends.

Comprehensive geochemical/hydrochemical and geo-thermometry analysis of Unai geothermal field, Gujarat, India

The knowledge of water temperature produced from a geothermal reservoir and its composition is of utmost importance in designing utilization strategies, the surface production facilities and in selecting the material to be used. Unai hot springs are located in the southern part of Gujarat, India with discharge temperatures varying from 51 to 56 ℃. With the aim of developing Unai as a potential geothermal field and exploiting it in the future, geochemical and geothermometrical study was undertaken. The samples were collected from various Unai geothermal location and analysis of chemical composition of water obtained from different wells was done. The concentration of Silica, carbonate and ions like Na and Cl have been analyzed to delineate the path of water movement in the subsurface and classify the reservoir based on the *** ratio of the concentration of ions like Na^+ and K^+ and the relative proportions of various sets of ions were also used to characterize the geothermal reservoir and the reservoir fluid by the use of ternary diagrams. Na–K–Ca,Chalcedony, quartz, and Silica geo-thermometers have been studied. The present study also envisages the importance of graphical representations like Piper diagram,Scholler etc. to determine variation in hydrochemical facies and to understand the evolution of hydrochemical processes in the Unai geothermal field respectively. The study yields the conclusion that the reservoir under consideration is a low enthalpy reservoir with temperature ranging from 60 to 80 ℃.
