BACKGROUND Small cell lung cancer(SCLC)is the most malignant type of lung *** in the latent period and early stage of the tumor,SCLC is prone to produce distant metastases with complex and diverse clinical *** is most closely related to paraneoplastic syndrome,and some cases present as paraneoplastic peripheral neuropathy(PPN).PPN in SCLC appears early,lacks specificity,and often occurs before diagnosis of the primary *** is easy to be misdiagnosed as a primary disease of the nervous system,leading to missed diagnosis and delayed diagnosis and *** SUMMARY This paper reports two cases of SCLC with limb weakness as the first *** first symptoms of one patient were rash,limb weakness,and abnormal *** patient was repeatedly referred to the hospital for limb weakness and rash for>1 year,during which time,treatment with hormones and immunosuppressants did not lead to significant improvement,and the condition gradually *** patient was later diagnosed with SCLC,and the dyskinesia did not worsen as the dermatomyositis improved after antineoplastic and hormone *** second case presented with limb numbness and weakness as the first symptom,but the patient did not pay attention to ***,the patient was diagnosed with SCLC after facial edema caused by tumor thrombus invading the ***,he was diagnosed with extensive SCLC and died 1 year after *** The two cases had PPN and abnormal electromyography,highlighting its correlation with early clinical indicators of SCLC.

The conductive metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)are suggested as the ideal electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)because of the high utilization of metal *** design and facile synthesis of MOFs with large specific surface area,proper metals as center,and tunable chemical components is still full of ***,we report the facile synthesis three types of porous MOFs by regulating metal center using benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylic acid(H3 BTC)as organic ligand and have successfully synthesized the rhombic octahedral Cu-BTC,rod-shaped Co-BTC and spherical Ni-BTC materials with large specific surface area ranged in 350-500 m^(2)g^(-1).These as-prepared MOFs materials exhibit high performance of HER in 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4).Ni-BTC material exhibits the lowest overpotential of 53 mV at 10 mA cm-2 and the smallest Tafel slope of 62 mV dec^(-1)than those of Cu-BTC(270 mV,155 mV dec^(-1))and Co-BTC(123 mV,100 mV dec^(-1)),which are much superior to these previously reported MOFs *** addition,the fast catalytic kinetic of Ni-BTC was confirmed by the smaller charge transfer resistance(Rct)value of 0.9Ωand larger electrochemical active surface area(ECSA)of 35.5 cm^(2)than those of Cu-BTC(8.2Ω,22.5 cm^(2))and Co-BTC(1.9Ω,27.7 cm^(2)).Because of the structural advantage and large ECSA,the turnover frequency(TOF)value of Ni-BTC reaches up to 0.041 s-1 at 120 mV overpotential,which is 20.5 and 2.6 times greater than that of Cu-BTC(0.002 s-1)and Co-BTC(0.016 s-1).Besides,these three types of MOFs exhibited excellent durability over 12 *** study unfolds diverse insights into the design and facile synthesis of MOFs for electrochemical energy conversion system.

In the field of neutronics analysis, it is imperative to develop computer-aided modeling technology for Monte Carlo codes to address the increasing complexity of reactor core components by converting 3D CAD model(boundary representation, BREP) to MC model(constructive solid geometry, CSG). Separation-based conversion from BREP to CSG is widely used in computer-aided modeling MC codes because of its high efficiency, reliability, and easy implementation. However, the current separation-based BREP-CSG conversion is poor for processing complex CAD models, and it is necessary to divide a complex model into several simple models before applying the separation-based conversion algorithm, which is time-consuming and tedious. To avoid manual segmentation, this study proposed a MeshCNN-based 3D-shape segmentation algorithm to automatically separate a complex model. The proposed 3D-shape segmentation algorithm was combined with separation-based BREP-CSG conversion algorithms to directly convert complex *** proposed algorithm was integrated into the computeraided modeling software cosVMPT and validated using the Chinese fusion engineering testing reactor model. The results demonstrate that the MeshCNN-based BREP-CSG conversion algorithm has a better performance and higher efficiency, particularly in terms of CPU time, and the conversion result is more intuitive and consistent with the intention of the modeler.

A review of the periodic layered structure （PLS） formed during reactive diffusion was presented. The formation of PLS is a very interesting and complex phenomenon during the reactive diffusion process. It was firstly discovered occasionally. The formation of PLS has been reported in various solid state diffusion couples such as Zn/ Ni3 Si, Mg/SiO2, Zn/Cux Tiy and so on, and some controversial theoretical models and formation mechanism of PLS were put forward. However, there have been few reports about the PLS formed during hot dip. The development of PLS was reviewed, and the recent progress referring to the formation of PLS during the hot dip aluminizing of a no- vel Fe-Cr-B cast steel was especially introduced. However, not all of the borides could form PLS in their interracial reaction with molten Al. PLS only formed at the Cr-rich Fe2B/Al interface, while Mo-rich Fe2B fractured. A general qualitative description for the interracial reaction of Fe-Cr-B cast steel with molten Al was represented. Further inves- tigation on the constituents of the alternating phases and formation mechanism of PLS needs to be done. At last, the development trends of PLS were proposed.

dissociation of methyl nitrite is the first step during CO catalytic coupling to dimethyl oxalate followed by hydrogenation to ethyl glycol in a typical coal to liquid process. In this work, the first-principle calculations based on density functional theory were performed to explore the reaction mechanism for the non-catalytic dissociation of methyl nitrite in the gas phase and the catalytic dissociation of methyl nitrite on Pd(111) surface since palladium supported on alpha-alumina is the most effective catalyst for the coupling. For the non-catalytic case, the calculated results show that the CH_3O–NO bond will break with a bond energy of 1.91 eV, and the produced CH_3O radicals easily decompose to formaldehyde, while the further dissociation of formaldehyde in the gas phase is difficult due to the strong C–H bond. On the other hand, the catalytic dissociation of methyl nitrite on Pd(111) to the adsorbed CH_3O and NO takes place with a small energy barrier of 0.03 eV. The calculated activation energies along the proposed reaction pathways indicate that(i) at low coverage, a successive dehydrogenation of the adsorbed CH_3O to CO and H is favored while(ii) at high coverage, hydrogenation of CH_3O to methanol and carbonylation of CH_3O to methyl formate are more preferred. On the basis of the proposed reaction mechanism,two meaningful ways are proposed to suppress the dissociation of methyl nitrate during the CO catalytic coupling to dimethyl oxalate.

Magnesium hydride has been seen as a potential material for solid state hydrogen storage,but the kinetics and thermodynamics obstacles have hindered its development and ***-dimensional flower-like TiO2@C and TiO2 were synthesized as the catalyst for MgH2 system and great catalytic activities are acquired in the hydrogen sorption *** also show that the flower-like TiO2@C is superior to flower-like TiO2 in improving the hydrogen storage properties of *** hydrogen desorption onset and peak temperatures of flower-like TiO2 doped MgH2 is reduced to 199.2℃and 245.4℃,while the primitive MgH2 starts to release hydrogen at 294.6℃and the rapid dehydrogenation temperature is even as high as 362.6℃.The onset and peak temperatures of flower-like TiO2@C doped MgH2 are further reduced to 180.3℃and 233.0℃.The flower-like TiO2@C doped MgH2 composite can release6.0 wt%hydrogen at 250℃within 7 min,and 4.86 wt%hydrogen at 225℃within 60 min,while flowerlike TiO2 doped MgH2 can release 6.0 wt%hydrogen at 250℃within 8 min,and 3.89 wt%hydrogen at225℃within 60 *** absorption kinetics is also improved ***,compared with primitive MgH2 and the flower-like TiO2 doped MgH2,the activation energy of flower-like TiO2@C doped MgH2 is significantly decreased to 67.10 kJ/*** the improvement of hydrogen sorption properties can be ascribed to the flower-like structure and the two-phase coexistence of TiO2 and amorphous *** phase composition and unique structure are proved to be the critical factor to improve the hydrogen sorption properties of MgH2,which can be considered as the new prospect for improving the kinetics of light-metal hydrogen storage materials.
