Leaf color patterns vary depending on leaf age,pathogen infection,and environmental and nutritional stresses;thus,they are widely used to diagnose plant health statuses in agricultural *** visible-near infrared-shortwave infrared(VIS-NIR-SWIR)sensor measures the leaf color pattern from a wide spectral range with high spectral ***,spectral information has only been employed to understand general plant health statuses(e.g.,vegetation index)or phytopigment contents,rather than pinpointing defects of specific metabolic or signaling pathways in ***,we report feature engineering and machine learning methods that utilize VIS-NIR-SWIR leaf reflectance for robust plant health diagnostics,pinpointing physiological alterations associated with the stress hormone,abscisic acid(ABA).Leaf reflectance spectra of wild-type,ABA2-overexpression,and deficient plants were collected under watered and drought ***-and ABA-associated normalized reflectance indices(NRIs)were screened from all possible pairs of wavelength *** associated NRIs showed only a partial overlap with those related to ABA deficiency,but more NRIs were associated with drought due to additional spectral changes within the NIR wavelength *** support vector machine classifiers built with 20 NRIs predicted treatment or genotype groups with an accuracy greater than those with conventional vegetation *** selected NRIs were independent from leaf water content and chlorophyll content,2 well-characterized physiological changes under *** screening of NRIs,streamlined with the development of simple classifiers,serves as the most efficient means of detecting reflectance bands that are highly relevant to characteristics of interest.

Multiferroic(BFO)nanoparticles doped with strontium with the general formula Bi1-xSrx FeO3(x=0,0.3,0.5,0.7)were synthesized using a modified sol-gel auto-combustion *** structural,electrical,optical,and magnetic properties of the samples are *** structural analysis,carried out using the x-ray powder diffraction technique,shows a structural transition from rhombohedral(R-3c)to cubic(Pm-3m)for the doping amount of strontium(Sr)equal to x=*** analysis of the prepared samples were carried out using scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Frequency-dependent dielectric constant and ac conductivity were *** doped samples,with improved dielectric properties,can be used to fabricate different optoelectronic *** dielectric dispersion and broad relaxation were exhibited by all the ***–cole plots were employed as an effective tool to study the dispersion parameters,namely,the optical dielectric constant,static dielectric constant,relaxation time,and spreading *** activation energy was calculated from the relaxation peaks and cole–cole plots,which were found to be compatible with each *** bandgap of the samples was calculated using diffuse reflectance spectral(DRS)*** and strong photoluminescence in the IR region was observed in the samples,similar to ZnO,which was reported for the first ***-temperature and low-temperature magnetization studies point towards the superparamagnetic nature of the samples,with an improvement in magnetic properties with *** antiferromagnetic behavior of bulk bismuth ferrite transforms to superparamagnetic in nature for both pure and Sr-substituted bismuth ferrite nanoparticles due to the close dimensions of crystallite size with magnetic domains leading to the break-down of the frustrated spin cycloidal moment.

The relationship between the velocity of cMEs and the plasma temperature of the associated X-ray solar flares is investigated. The velocity of cMEs increases with plasma temperature （R = 0.82） and photon index below the break energy （R = 0.60） of X-ray flares. The heating of the coronal plasma appears to be significant with respect to the kinetics of a cME from the reconnection region where the flare also occurs. We propose that the initiation and velocity of cMEs perhaps depend upon the dominant process of conversion of the magnetic field energy of the active region to heating/accelerating the coronal plasma in the reconnected loops. Results show that a flare and the associated cME are two components of one energy release system, perhaps, magnetic field free energy.

Long non coding RNAs(lncRNAs) are non-protein or low-protein coding transcripts that contain more than 200 nucleotides. They representing a large share of the cell’s transcriptional output, demonstrate functional attributes viz. tissue-specific expression, determination of cell fate, controlled expression, RNA processing and editing, dosage compensation, genomic imprinting, conserved evolutionary traits etc. These long non coding variants are well associated with pathogenicity of various diseases including the neurological disorders like Alzheimer’s disease, schizophrenia, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease etc. Neurological disorders are widespread and there knowing the underlying mechanisms become crucial. The lncRNAs take part in the pathogenesis by a plethora of mechanisms like decoy, scaffold, mi-RNA sequestrator, histone modifiers and in transcriptional interference. Detailed knowledge of the role of lncRNAs can help to use them further as novel biomarkers for therapeutic aspects. Here, in this review we discuss regulation and functional roles of lncRNAs in eight neurological diseases and psychiatric disorders, and the mechanisms by which they act. With these, we try to establish their roles as potential markers and viable diagnostic tools in these disorders.

The carboxy-terminus of Hsp70-interacting protein(cHIP)is a ubiquitin ligase and co-chaperone belonging to Ubox family that plays a crucial role in the maintenance of cellular homeostasis by switching the equilibrium of the folding-refolding mechanism towards the proteasomal or lysosomal degradation *** links molecular chaperones ***70,HSP70 and HSP90 with ubiquitin proteasome system(UPS),acting as a quality control *** contains charged domain in between N-terminal tetratricopeptide repeat(TPR)and c-terminal Ubox *** domain interacts with the aberrant client proteins via chaperones while Ubox domain facilitates the ubiquitin transfer to the client proteins for ***,cHIP is a classic molecule that executes ubiquitination for degradation of client ***,cHIP has been found to be indulged in cellular differentiation,proliferation,metastasis and ***,cHIP can play its dual role as a tumor suppressor as well as an oncogene in numerous malignancies,thus acting as a double ***,in this review,we have reported almost all substrates of cHIP established till date and classified them according to the hallmarks of *** addition,we discussed about its architectural alignment,tissue specific expression,sub-cellular localization,folding-refolding mechanisms of client proteins,E4 ligase activity,normal physiological roles,as well as involvement in various diseases and tumor ***,we aim to discuss its importance in HSP90 inhibitors mediated cancer ***,this report concludes that cHIP may be a promising and worthy drug target towards pharmaceutical industry for drug development.
