Congenital hernia of the diaphragmatic dome (CHDD) is an embryonic malformation in which all or part of the diaphragmatic dome fails to develop properly. In the majority of cases (80% to 90%), this malformation affects the left posterolateral part of the diaphragm, while in 10% to 15% of cases it affects the right. Bilateral cases are extremely rare, accounting for less than 1% of cases. This malformation is estimated to occur at a frequency of around 1 in 3500 births, with a male predominance. The diaphragmatic defect causes the abdominal organs to rise into the thoracic cavity during critical phases of lung development. These anomalies result in bilateral pulmonary hypoplasia, a reduced number of pulmonary vessels, and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). The combination of these anatomical and functional anomalies, in varying degrees, explains the wide variability of symptoms at birth. Diagnosis is usually made prenatally by ultrasound, which enables severe forms of the disease to be detected and appropriate management initiated. The prognosis remains generally grave, with a neonatal mortality rate of between 30% and 60% depending on the study, and around half of all children will have long-term sequelae.

In order to investigate the role of TiO2 during plasma treatment, the degradation of the dye AO7 has been studied by gliding arc discharge in the presence of a TiO2 catalyst （CGAD）. The results revealed that the adsorption of the dye on TiO2 is a physical adsorption in accordance with Langmuir isotherm, with a constant of adsorption KL ： 0.52 mg/L and a maximum adsorption capacity b = 18.1 mg/g. The temperature variation of the reaction medium made it possible to consider thermodynamic parameters. Indeed, the adsorption is exothermic （enthalpy： △H 〈 0）, and spontaneous （free enthalpy： △G 〈 0）. The negative entropy （△S 〈 0） confirms the affinity of the dye molecules for TiO2. 20 min of CGAD treatment in the pres- ence of an optimal quantity of TiO2 （2 g/L enabled us to bleach the solution of AO7 （100 μM） completely. The discoloration rate with and without the addition of TiO2 was 100% and 28%, respectively. 40 additional minutes of treatment allowed a total abatement of the chemical oxy- gen demand. The elimination of AO7 molecules during the plasma-catalytic treatment follows Langmuir-Hinshelwood （L-H） model kinetics. According to this model, the speed constant is kr = 14.97 mg-L-1 ·min-1 and the adsorption coefficient is KL-H= 0.010 L/mg. The latter being negligible compared to kr, adsorption is therefore weakly performed during the plasma treatment.

The present work aimed to investigate the electrochemical properties of ITO substrates in propylene carbonate(PC) with 0.5 mol/L lithium perchlorate(LiClO_(4)) medium in the presence of elaborated thin films of cerium dioxide pure and doped with manganese at varying ***_(1-x)Mn_(x)O_(2)(x=0 wt%,2 wt%,4 wt% and 6 wt%) were successfully deposited by the spray pyrolysis(SP) technique on the glass substrate and ITO at 450℃.The effects of manganese(Mn) doped thin films Ce_(1-x)Mn_(x)O_(2) were studied and investigated by using different analyses namely X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis,Raman spectroscopy method,UV-Vis spectrophotometer technique,atomic force microscopy(AFM) analysis and electrochemical *** data obtained present a polycrystalline with a face-centred cubic structure of fluorite *** results of undoped and Mn doped thin films show two peaks at 465 and 600 cm^(-1),due to the formation of extrinsic oxygen vacancies by the incorporation of Mn into Ce1-xMnxO_(2) *** dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) data show the presence of Ce,O,and Mn elements in the elaborated *** AFM results reveal that the surface roughness decreases with increasing Mn ***,band gap energy of thin films decreases with increasing in Mn rate due to the formation of defect state between valence and conduction *** storage capacity of the elaborated Ce_(1-x)Mn_(x)O_(2)/ITO/PC+LiClO_(4) electrode reaches a maximum of 1.997 mF in the presence of 6 wt% of Mn.

The magnetic properties of Ni/Cu multilayers, prepared by the electron beam evaporation method under ultra high vacuum conditions, have been systematically studied by magnetic measurements. The temperature dependence of the spontaneous magnetization M (T) is well described by a T3/2 law. A spin wave theory has been used to explain the magnetization versus temperature. Based on this theory, the approximate values for the exchange interactions have been obtained.

Background and Aims: Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Endoscopy and radiology play an important role in the diagnosis and management of this specific disease. The ability of each of these two tests to detect the gastrointestinal involvement (ulceration, stenosis, fistula, polyp, mucosal thickening) varies according to the type of Crohn’s lesions. The purpose of our study was to evaluate the correlation between these two diagnostic methods in the detection of those specific lesions in 70 patients diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease (CD) during the period of 3 years. Methods: In this retrospective study, including 70 patients with Crohn’s disease, Four major characteristic lesions (ulceration, stenosis, fistula and polyps) were studied by endoscopy and radiological exams to evaluate the relationship between endoscopy and imaging findings in the detection of these lesions. The analysis of our results was made by statistical analysis system: EpiInfo and SPSS. Results: The concordance of each of these diagnostic modalities is average for stenosis and fistulas and low diagnostic significance for ulcers and polyps. However, the imaging features of mucosal thickening are sensitive but not specific.
