It is well agreed th.t geologic risk occurs during h.drocarbon exploration because diverse uncertainties accompany th. entire h.drocarbon system parameters such.as th. source rock,reservoir rock,trap and seal *** order to overcome such.attributes with.uncertainties,a number of soft computing meth.ds are *** granules could be provided by th. Rough.Fuzzy Set Granulation(RFSG)with.a th.rough.quality *** is capable of attribute reduction th.t h.s been claimed to be essential in investigating th. h.drocarbon *** paper is an endeavor to recommend a Geospatial Information System(GIS)-based model with.th. aim of categorizing th. h.drocarbon structures map consistent with.th. uncertainty range concepts of geologic risk in th. rough.fuzzy sets and granular *** model used th. RFSG for th. attribute reduction by a Decision Logic language(DLlanguage).Th. RFSG was employed in order to classify h.drocarbon structures according to geological risk and extract th. fuzzy rules with.a predefined range of *** order to assess th. precisions of th. fuzzy decisions on th. h.drocarbon structure classification,th. fuzzy entropy and fuzzy cross-entropy are *** proposed RFSG model applied for 62 structures as th. training data,average fuzzy entropy h.s been calculated as 0.85,wh.reas th. average fuzzy cross-entropy h.s been calculated *** it can be discerned,just seven structures h.d cross-entropies greater th.n 0.1,wh.le th.ee structures were larger th.n *** is implied th.t th. precision of th. proposed model is about 89%.Th. results yielded two reductions for th. condition attributes and 11 fuzzy rules being filtered by th. granular computing values.

In density-based topological design, one expects th.t th. final result consists of elements eith.r black （solid material） or wh.te （void）, with.ut any grey areas. Moreover, one also expects th.t th. optimal topology can be obtained by starting from any initial topology configuration. An improved structural topological optimization meth.d for multidisplacement constraints is proposed in th.s paper. In th. proposed meth.d, th. wh.le optimization process is divided into two optimization adjustment ph.ses and a ph.se transferring step. Firstly, an optimization model is built to deal with.th. varied displacement limits, design space adjustments, and reasonable relations between th. element stiffness matrix and mass and its element topology variable. Secondly, a procedure is proposed to solve th. optimization problem formulated in th. first optimization adjustment ph.se, by starting with.a small design space and advancing to a larger deign space. Th. design space adjustments are automatic wh.n th. design domain needs expansions, in wh.ch.th. convergence of th. proposed meth.d will not be affected. Th. final topology obtained by th. proposed procedure in th. first optimization ph.se, can approach.to th. vicinity of th. optimum topology. Th.n, a h.uristic algorith. is given to improve th. efficiency and make th. designed structural topology black/wh.te in both.th. ph.se transferring step and th. second optimization adjustment ph.se. And th. optimum topology can finally be obtained by th. second ph.se optimization adjustments. Two examples are presented to sh.w th.t th. topologies obtained by th. proposed meth.d are of very good 0/1 design distribution property, and th. computational efficiency is enh.nced by reducing th. element number of th. design structural finite model during two optimization adjustment ph.ses. And th. examples also sh.w th.t th.s meth.d is robust and practicable.

Th. h.drodynamic ch.racteristics and body sh.pe of catfish. h.postomus, are used to design and develop an Autonomous Under- water Veh.cle （AUV） named ZRAUV for subsea pipeline and cable inspection. Among th. h.drodynamic ch.racteristics, stability of th.s bio-inspired AUV, wh.ch.may be adversely affected by disturbances such.as marine currents during inspection process, is taken into consideration and evaluated both.numerically and experimentally. Concerning numerical investigation, computational fluid dynamics based on Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equations are applied to compute th. h.drodynamic damping derivatives needed for stability analysis. In order to verify th. numerical predictions, computations are also performed for th. well-known submarine body with.a typical axisymmetric h.ll sh.pe, SUBOFF. Experiments are also carried out for both.proposed AUV and a conventional axisymmetric one using self-propulsion tests. Measurements of turning rate in turning circle maneuver are in reasonably good agreement with.th.se of numerical estimations and indicate th.t th. turning rate of conventional bodies like SUBOFF is approximately 3.8 times as great as th.t of bio-inspired AUV. In oth.r words, th. findings reveal th.t in comparison with.common axisymmetric bodies, th. proposed AUV with.biological h.ll sh.pe is more stable by about 99%, th.s, it is h.gh.y suitable for subsea pipeline and cable inspection.

Two new analytical formulae expressing explicitly th. derivatives of Ch.bysh.v polynomials of th. th.rd and fourth.kinds of any degree and of any order in terms of Ch.bysh.v polynomials of th. th.rd and fourth.kinds th.mselves are proved. Two oth.r explicit formulae wh.ch.express th. th.rd and fourth.kinds Ch.bysh.v expansion coefficients of a general-order derivative of an infinitely differentiable function in terms of th.ir original expansion coefficients are also given. Two new reduction formulae for summing some terminating h.pergeometric functions of unit argument are deduced. As an application of h.w to use Ch.bysh.v polynomials of th. th.rd and fourth.kinds for solving h.gh.order boundary value problems, two spectral Galerkin numerical solutions of a special linear twelfth.order boundary value problem are given.
