Background Pediatric post coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)condition(PPCC)is a heterogeneous syndrome,which can significantly affect the daily lives of *** study aimed to identify clinically meaningful phenotypes in children with PPCC,to better characterize and treat this *** Participants were children with physician-diagnosed PPCC,referred to the academic hospital Amsterdam UMC in the Netherlands between November 2021 and March *** factors and information on post-COVID symptoms,comorbidities,and impact on daily life were *** clusters were identified using an unsupervised and unbiased approach for mixed data *** Analysis of 111 patients(aged 3–18 years)revealed three distinct clusters within *** 1(n=62,median age=15 years)predominantly consisted of girls(74.2%).These patients suffered relatively more from exercise intolerance,dyspnea,and smell *** 2(n=33,median age=13 years)contained patients with an even gender distribution(51.5%girls).They suffered from relatively more sleep problems,memory loss,gastrointestinal symptoms,and *** 3(n=16,median age=11 years)had a higher proportion of boys(75.0%),suffered relatively more from fever,had significantly fewer symptoms(median of 5 symptoms compared to 8 and 10 for clusters 1 and 2 respectively),and experienced a lower impact on daily *** This study identified three distinct clinical PPCC phenotypes,with variations in sex,age,symptom patterns,and impact on daily *** findings highlight the need for further research to understand the potentially diverse underlying mechanisms contributing to post-COVID symptoms in children.

A model for a dual universe is proposed, based on the assumption that simultaneously with our universe an anti-matter counterpart was initiated immediately following the Big Bang. At the heart of the model is a primordial anti-particle that differentiates itself from its counterpart, a previously hypothesized S-particle responsible for the formation of our own universe, through its course of rotation. The angular rotation of the anti-particle, in accordance with space-time rotation, together with the counter rotation of the S-particle, resulted in a time difference in the formation processes of both universes and consequently led to a large distance between the spatial locations occupied by our universe and its dual counterpart in the same space-time continuum. The existence of this anti-matter universe might solve the present mystery of matter anti-matter asymmetry and thus explain why hardly any free anti-matter can be observed in our universe. Moreover, the model implicates the possibility of the presence of a repulsive gravitational force exerted by the clusters of anti-particles in the anti-matter universe upon our universe. The repulsive gravitational force from the clusters of antiparticles in the dual universe as a whole upon our universe is completely different from the electrostatic repulsive force between similarly charged particles. It is also different from that due to possible gravitational or anti-gravitational interaction between individual matter and antimatter or particle and its antiparticle that might violate the CPT invariance, the theory of general relativity or the law of energy conservation. It is rather, a kind of negative gravity that affects our universe as a whole, due to the opposite course of rotation of the dual anti-universe relative to ours. Nowadays,magnesium alloys are emerging in biomedical implants for their similar properties to natural ***,the rapid degradation of magnesium alloys in biological media hinders successful *** of microstructure,as well as reinforcement particles can significantly improve the degradation *** this work,multi-pass friction stir processing(FSP)was proposed to synthesize WE43/nano-hydroxyapatite(n HA)surface composite,the microstructure,reinforced particle distribution,micro-hardness,corrosion behavior and in-vitro bioactivity were *** subsequent FSP passes of WE43 alloy and WE43/n HA composite refined the grain size which was reduced by 94.29%and 95.92%(2.63 and 1.88μm,respectively)compared to base metal after three *** resulted in increasing the microhardness by 120%(90.86 HV0.1)and 135%(105.59 HV0.1)for the WE43 and WE43-n HA,*** is found that increasing FSP passes improved the uniform distribution of n HA particles within the composite matrix which led to improved corrosion resistance and less degradation *** corrosion rate of the FSPed WE43/n HA composite after three passes was reduced by 38.2%(4.13 mm/year)and the degradation rate was reduced by 69.7%(2.87 mm/y).This is attributed to secondary phase(Mg24Y5and Mg41Nd5)particle fragmentation and redistribution,as well as a homogeneous distribution of n ***,the growing Ca-P and Mg(OH)2layer formed on the surface represented a protective layer that reduced the degradation *** wettability test revealed a relatively hydrophilic surface with water contact angle of 49.1±2.2°compared to 71.2±2.1°for base ***,biomineralization test showed that apatite layer grew after immersion 7d in simulated body fluid with atomic ratio of Ca/P 1.60 approaching the stoichiometric ratio(1.67)indicating superior bioactivity of FSPed WE43/n HA composite after three *** results raise that the grain refinement by FSP and introduction of n HA partic

Understanding the origins of potential source rocks and unraveling the intricate connections between reservoir oils and their source formations in the Siwa Basin(Western Desert,Egypt)necessitate a thorough oil-source correlation *** objective is achieved through a meticulous analysis of well-log responses,Rock-Eval pyrolysis,and biomarker *** analysis of Total Organic Carbon across 31 samples representing Paleozoic formations in the Siwa A-1X well reveals a spectrum of organic richness ranging from 0.17 wt%to 2.04 wt%,thereby highlighting diverse levels of organic content and the presence of both Type II and Type III *** of the fingerprint characteristics of eight samples from the well suggests that the Dhiffah Formation comprises a blend of terrestrial and marine organic ***,a significant contribution from more oxidized residual organic matter and gas-prone Type III kerogen is ***,the Desouky and Zeitoun formations exhibit mixed organic matter indicative of a transitional environment,and thus featuring a pronounced marine influence within a more reducing setting,which is associated with Type II *** analysis of five oil samples from different wells—SIWA L-1X,SIWA R-3X,SIWA D-1X,PTAH 5X,and PTAH 6X,it is evident that terrestrial organic matter,augmented by considerable marine input,was deposited in an oxidizing environment,and contains Type III *** scrutiny confirms the coexistence of mixed terrestrial organic matter within varying redox *** is the uniformity of identified kerogen Types II and III across all samples,known to have potential for hydrocarbon *** discovery presented in this paper unveils captivating prospects concerning the genesis of oil in the Jurassic Safa reservoir,suggesting potential links to Paleozoic sources or even originating from the Safa Member *** revelations mark a substantial advancement in understanding source

In this study,green zinc oxide(ZnO)/polypyrrole(Ppy)/cellulose acetate(CA)film has been synthesized via solvent *** film was used as supporting material for glucose oxidase(GOx)to sensitize a glucose *** nanoparticles have been prepared via the green route using olive leaves extract as a ***/Ppy nanocomposite has been synthesized by a simple in-situ chemical oxidative polymerization of pyrrole(Py)monomer using ferric chloride(FeCl3)as an oxidizing *** produced materials and the composite films were characterized using X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).Glucose oxidase was successfully immobilized on the surface of the prepared film and then ZnO/Ppy/CA/GOx composite was sputtered with platinum electrode for the current determination at different initial concentrations of *** measurements proved the suitability and the high sensitivity of the constructed biosensor for the detection of glucose levels in different *** performance of the prepared biosensor has been assessed by measuring and comparing glucose concentrations up to 800 *** results affirmed the reliability of the developed biosensor towards real samples which suggests the wide-scale application of the proposed biosensor.
