This research aims to understand the fractional order dynamics of the deadly Nipah virus(NiV)*** focus on using piecewise derivatives in the context of classical and singular kernels of power operators in the Caputo sense to investigate the crossover behavior of the considered dynamical *** establish some qualitative results about the existence and uniqueness of the solution to the proposed *** utilizing the Newtonian polynomials interpolation technique,we recall a powerful algorithm to interpret the numerical findings for the aforesaid ***,we remark that the said viral infection is caused by an RNA type virus which can transmit from animals and also from an infected person to *** bats which are also known as flying foxes are one of the sources of transmission of NiV *** in this work,we investigate its transmission mechanism through some new concepts of fractional calculus for further analysis and *** present the approximate results for different compartments using different fractional *** using the piecewise derivative concept,we detect the crossover ormulti-steps behavior in the transmission dynamics of the mentioned ***,the considered form of the derivative is used to deal with problems exhibiting crossover behaviors.

The aim of this work is to synthesize, characterize and evaluate the biological activity of 2-acetyl and 2-formyl-3-amino-1,4-naphthoquinone (L1 - L2) and their metal-Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) chelates. The newly chelates were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, mass and 1HNMR spectra, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and biological activity. The antibacterial and antifungal activities of the ligands and its metal complexes were screened against bacterial species (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli) and fungi (Candida albicans). Ampicillin and amphotericin were used as references for antibacterial and antifungal studies. The activity data show that the metal complexes have a promising biological activity comparable with parent free ligand against bacterial and fungal species.

The aim of this work is to synthesize, characterize and evaluate the biological activity of 1,4-naphthoquinone derivatives ligands and their metal—Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) chelates. Continuing our work with another derivatives of 1,4-naphthoquinone ligands, this work had been constructed for synthesis of new ligands derived from 1,4-naphthoquinone such as 3-thioacetyl-2-amino-1,4-naphthoquinone and 2-benzoyl-3-amino-1,4-naphthoquinone (L1-L2) which characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, electronic, IR, mass, 1H-NMR spectral data. The synthesized ligands have been carried out to achieve the coordination behavior towards bi-valent metal ions like cobalt, nickel and copper. The solid chelates of the different ligands were prepared and subjected to analytical techniques such as elemental analyses, spectroscopic techniques including mass, 1H-NMR, and IR spectroscopy, and thermal analyses techniques. The chelates were found to have octahedral geometry. The biological activity of the prepared ligands and their binary metals complexes were also screened against different antifungal and antibacterial organisms.

Detection of <i>Chlamydia trachomatis</i>and <i>Neisseria gonorrhoeae</i>in Egyptian Women Suffering from Infertility

Chlamydial and gonococcal infections are recognized as two of the major causes of sexually transmissible human bacterial infection which may lead to infertility. In this cross sectional study, we aimed to determine the prevalence of Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Chlamydia trachomatis among Egyptian women using different microbiological methods. One hundred and fifty cervical swabs were collected, of which 100 were from infertile women. Culture and ELISA technique were used for screening of Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis individually. In addition, PCR was used for all examined samples. For C. trachomatis, 3 cases were positive for antigen detection by ELISA. Moreover, in obtained results of PCR, DNA was detected in 4 samples, and three of them from infertile group. So based on PCR results, the sensitivity and specificity of ELISA were 75% and 100% respectively. Furthermore, 3 samples were positive for gonococcal infections by PCR, and two of them were taken from infertile women. Positive results of two samples were verified by culture. The estimated sensitivity and specificity of culture method were 66.7% and 100% respectively. Results of this study indicate that PCR is a valuable method for detection of gonococcal and chlamydial infection and it is suitable for the confirmation of ELISA results for C. trachomatis diagnosis. Culture method is less sensitive than PCR for detection of N. gonorrhoeae. The prevalence of such infections is higher among infertile women.

Laplace transform is one of the powerful tools for solving differential equations in engineering and other science *** the Laplace transform for solving differential equations,however,sometimes leads to solutions in the Laplace domain that are not readily invertible to the real domain by ***,we need numerical inversionmethods to convert the obtained solution fromLaplace domain to a real *** this paper,we propose a numerical scheme based on Laplace transform and numerical inverse Laplace transform for the approximate solution of fractal-fractional differential equations with orderα,β.Our proposed numerical scheme is based on three main ***,we convert the given fractal-fractional differential equation to fractional-differential equation in Riemann-Liouville sense,and then into Caputo ***,we transformthe fractional differential equation in Caputo sense to an equivalent equation in Laplace *** the solution of the transformed equation is obtained in Laplace ***,the solution is converted into the real domain using numerical inversion of Laplace *** inversion methods are evaluated in this paper,and their convergence is also *** test problems are used to validate the inversion *** demonstrate our results with the help of tables and *** obtained results show that Euler’s and Talbot’s methods performed better than Stehfest’s method.

Effect of smart sprinkler irrigation utilization on water use efficiency for wheat crops in arid regions

The smart irrigation system(SIS)developed in this research is a valuable tool for scheduling irrigation and quantifying water required by *** was implemented and tested under sprinkler irrigation system to irrigate wheat crops(YecoraRojo).Results obtained from this system were compared with the control irrigation system(CIS),whose scheduling method was based on data from an automatic weather *** indicated significant savings in applied water using the *** addition,the use of the SIS conserved 12%of irrigation water compared to CIS and obtained an economical *** water use efficiency(WUE)under SIS had generally higher values(1.64 kg/m^(3))compared to CIS(1.46 kg/m^(3)).Hence,the application of SIS technology provides significant advantages on WUE and irrigation water use efficiency(IWUE).Relatively high WUE and IWUE were found for the irrigation treatment(80%of evapotranspiration under SIS).Results showed that the irrigation requirements of wheat increased(100%of ETc under CIS)with increasing evapotranspiration(ETc)but excessive irrigation could decrease WUE and *** results indicated that extreme irrigation might not produce higher yield or optimal economic benefit,thus,suitable irrigation schedules by using SIS must be established and extendable to other agricultural crops.

In this study,we investigate the Hawking radiation in higher dimensional Reissner-Nordstrom black holes as received by an observer located at *** frequency-dependent transmission rates,which deform the thermal radiation emitted in the vicinity of the black hole horizon,are evaluated *** addition to those in four-dimensional spacetime,the calculations are extended to higher dimensional Reissner-Nordstrom metrics,and the results are observed to be sensitive to the spacetime dimension to an ***,we observe that the transmission coefficient practically vanishes when the frequency of the emitted particle approaches *** increases with frequency and eventually saturates to a certain *** four-dimensional spacetime,the above result is demonstrated to be mostly independent of the metric's parameter and the orbital quantum number of the particle,when the location of the event horizon,rh,and the product of the charges of the black hole and the particle qQ are ***,for higher-dimensional scenarios,the convergence becomes more ***,the difference between states with different orbital quantum numbers is observed to be more *** the magnitude of the product of charges qQ becomes more significant,the transmission coefficient exceeds *** other words,the resultant spectral flux is amplified,which results in an accelerated process of black hole *** relationship of the calculated outgoing transmission coefficient with existing results on the greybody factor is discussed.

In our case, we present a case of an 80-year-old male who was referred to the gastroenterologist for evaluation of a suspicious mass. CT imaging at the time had shown intrahepatic and extrahepatic biliary dilations, and the patient was thought to have a pancreatic or a common bile duct mass. A mass biopsy showed no malignancy, and further evaluation was warranted. The patient was found to have elevated IgG4 levels and was diagnosed with IgG4-sclerosing cholangitis (IgG4-SC). IgG4 has been found to create a wide array of pathologies, including autoimmune pancreatitis, dacryoadenitis, and sialadenitis. These pathologies have been grouped under an IgG4-Related Disease (IgG4-RD) category. In some cases, this IgG4-RD can present as a subclass of primary sclerosing cholangitis due to immune depositions and swelling of the CBD. Due to the strictures caused by the sclerosing cholangitis, intrahepatic and extrahepatic dilations might be found on endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). It is imperative to differentiate this from a malignant mass as the early recognition and treatment of IgG4-SC can lead to complete resolution. In this case report, we present a case of a patient who was found to have IgG4-SC and responded well to steroid treatment.
