We investigate the Schro¨dinger equation for a particle with a nonuniform.solitonic m.ss density. First, we discuss in extent the(nontrivial) position-dependent m.ss V(x) = 0 case whose solutions are hypergeom.tric functions in tanh2x. Then, we consider an external hyperbolic-tangent potential. We show that the efective quantum.m.chanical problem.is given by a Heun class equation and find analytically an eigenbasis for the space of solutions. We also com.ute the eigenstates for a potential of the form.V(x) = V0 sinh2x.

Host genetic factors m.y predict the outcom. and treatm.nt response in hepatitis C virus（HCV）*** of these factors is the single nucleotide polym.rphism. of the interleukin 28B（IL28B）*** sought to evaluate the outcom. of pegylated interferon and ribavirin therapy in association with IL-28B rs8099917 and rsl2980275 in patients infected with HCV genotype 4.A total of 180 patients with chronic hepatitis C were selected from.Egyptians who have received com.ined therapy with pegylated interferon and ribavirin for 6 m.nths and their response was evaluated after follow-up at 0,6,12,24 and 48 weeks from.the beginning of the *** sam.les were collected from.responders and *** DNA was extracted from.whole blood and genotyping was carried out by polym.rase chain reaction and restriction fragm.nt length polym.rphism.PCR-RFLP）.Our results showed that TT genotype of rs8099917 was associated with higher sustained viral response（SVR）rates and G allele represented a risk factor for failure of response（OR=3.7,CI=1.8：7.64）while rs12980275 was not significantly associated with SVR in genotype 4 Egyptian *** determ.nation of 1L-28B SNPs m.y be useful in enhancing correct prediction of SVR achievem.nt in treating this group of genotype 4 patients.

m.dication review aim. at optim.zing the im.act of m.dications while m.nim.zing their related problem.. Drug-related problem. have never been properly addressed in Egyptian hospitals. The purpose of this paper is to record and com.are the prevalence and types of m.dication related problem., the interventions provided by the clinical pharm.cists and how physicians responded along with m.king recom.endations for error prevention. This prospective study was conducted between June 2012 and Decem.er 2012, at an Egyptian general hospital. Five trained pharm.cists recorded patient-specific m.dication related recom.endations and com.leted quality-of-care interventions. The average num.er of audited doses was 81% of those prescribed. The m.st prevalent m.dication problem.was prescribing errors followed by adm.nistration errors. A total of 20 patients experienced adverse drug events. The greatest error rates across the seven m.nths were observed in the ICU and cardiology units. Num.ers of interventions offered by the pharm.cists ranged from.241, to 519 per m.nth. Nurses accepted all the interventions introduced by the pharm.cists aim.d at reducing adm.nistration errors while physicians’ resistance rates had an average of 21%. This study showed a positive influence of the pharm.cist-led m.dication review in reducing potential drug-related problem. in an Egyptian secondary care where the hospital under study im.lem.nted new m.asures to m.nim.ze drug related problem. according to the findings of the trained pharm.cists.
