Voltage imbalance mitigation in an active distribution network using decentralized current control

Voltage imbalance(VI)is caused by the difference in connected single-phase load or generation in a low voltage distribution network(DN).VI increase in a smart distribution grid is due to the current practice of increasing single-phase distributed generators such as photovoltaic(PV)*** paper proposes a decentralized control method to mitigate VI using distributed batteries included in smart grid interfaced residential PV *** mitigate VI using the batteries in this way,five challenges must be overcome,i.e.,equalizing all battery stress currents within the DN,mitigating VI in abnormal conditions such as signal loss among bus controllers,being immune from the distorted feedback measurements,minimizing the steady-state error at different loads,and overcoming the insufficient number or capacity of the distributed batteries at the same *** fuzzy logic controllers(FLC)are proposed at each bus to overcome these five tasks based on a decentralized control *** proposed decentralized control based on FLC is compared with centralized control based on a PI *** proposed control method is tested and verified using simulations in the mATLAB/Simulink software,and the results validate the ability of the scheme to alleviate VI on a smart distribution network under both normal and abnormal conditions.

Egyptian species of the leafhopper genus Exitianus Ball,1929,***(St?l,1855),***(Distant,1908),and *** Ross,1968 are ***,morphological descriptions,and a key for their identification are *** this study,we used molecular techniques to confirm morphological identification and detect phylogeny among the three Exitianus *** partial nucleotide sequences of the amplified products obtained were determined by macrogen *** nucleotide sequences of 28S rDNA and COX genes of the EGY-ARC-9,EGY-ARC-4,and EGY-ARC-5 were determined by macrogen Korea,blasted into BLAST at the National Center for Biotechnology Information website(NCBI)and compared with those deposited in the GenBank DNA *** results represented the homology percentage between the partial sequences of the 28S rRNA and COX genes from each species and related species obtained from GenBank DNA *** morphological identifications of the three Exitianus species were confirmed by molecular characterization and sequencing of 28S rDNA and COX genes and identified as ***,***,and ***,their sequences of 28srDNA and COX genes were deposited in GenBank with an accession number(LC670610,LC670607,and OQ196105)for 28srDNA gene and(LC775357,LC775358,and LC775359)for the COX gene.

A statistical approach to enhance the productivity of Streptomyces baarensis mH-133 for bioactive compounds

The goal of this study was to use statistical optimization to change the nutritional and environmental conditions so that Streptomyces baarensis mH-133 could make more active *** trials were used to screen for critical variables influencing productivity using the Placket-Burman Design *** mH-133 is significantly influenced by elicitation,yeast extract,inoculum size,and incubation period in terms of antibacterial activity.A total of 27 experimental trials with various combinations of these factors were used to carry out the response surface technique using the Box-Behnken *** analyses revealed that the model was highly significant(pmination(R2)of ***,the model predicted that the response as inhibition zone diameter would reach a value of 27 *** optimal conditions,*** mH-133 produced 18.0 g of crude extract to each 35L and was purified with column *** active fraction exhibiting antibacterial activity was characterized using spectroscopic *** mIC and mBC values varied between 37.5 and 300μg/ml and 75 and 300μg/ml,*** conclusion,the biostatistical optimization of the active fraction critical variables,including environmental and nutritional conditions,enhances the production of bioactive molecules by Streptomyces species.

Twenty-four rice genotypes were examined to assess genetic variability,heritability,and correlations for seven-grain quality traits,eight nutritional elements,and *** revealed signiﬁcant differences for the quality traits *** every trait under study,the phenotypic coefﬁcient of variation was higher than the correspon-dence genotypic coefﬁcient of *** in a broad sense varied from 29.75%for grain length to 98.31%for the elongation *** percentage recovery had a highly signiﬁcant positive correlation with milling and head rice ***,milling percentage had a highly positive correlation with head rice *** amylose percentage,all the genotypes belonged to low amylose except the Hassawi-1 variety,which had intermediate amylose *** nutrition contents of magnesium(mg),sodium(Na),potas-sium(K),calcium(Ca),copper(Cu),manganese(mn),zinc(Zn),iron(Fe),or protein percentage gave different variations for 24 rice genotypes under all the nutritional *** the 24 genotypes,ten rice genotypes–HighNutrient-1,HighNutrient-2,HighNutrient-9,HighNutrient-8,HighNutrient-3,Hassawi-2,HighNutrient-7,HighNutrient-6,Hassawi-1,and HighNutrient-4–had the highest heist value for all nutritional and protein con-tents,and could be used as a donor to improving new *** was a positive and signiﬁcant correlation between magnesium mg,K,Zn and ***,K had a positive correlation with zinc Zn,Fe,and protein *** analysis was divided into two groups:theﬁrst group included all genotypes rich in nutri-ents,while the remaining genotypes with low nutritional content were included in the second group.

We investigated spinel chalcogenides HgLa2（S/Se）4by using density function theory,and scrutinized the structural,optical,electrical,mechanical and therm.electric transport characteristics of HgLa2（S/Se）4spinel *** enthalpy of formation,energy of cohesion,and energy volume optimum plots were used to obtain the stability as well as the perfect ground state of these *** ductility of these materials was the best illustrated with the help of Poisson's and Pugh's *** band gap results were obtained using Trans and Blaha modified Becke-Johanson potential（TB-mBJ）.Both the materials present semi-conducting nature with direct band gap equal to 1.449 and 0.892 eV respectively for HgLa2S4and *** were also made for optical characteristics with the values of dielectric function,absorption coefficient,optical conductivity,reflectivity,and refractive *** to the findings,both of these materials are suitable for infrared optoelectronic *** materials were found to have promising optoelectronic and therm.electric applications after their optical properties and transport aspects were *** tiny levels of temperature conductivities,substantial am ounts of power conductivities,the figure of merit（more than unity）,as well as Seebecs coefficients all point to the potential use of both the materials in therm.electric power generators.

In this study,we aim to assess dynamical downscaling simulations by utilizing a novel bias-corrected global climate model(GCm)data to drive a regional climate model(RCm)over the Asia-western North Pacific *** simulations were conducted with a 25-km grid spacing for the period 1980–*** first simulation(WRF_ERA5)was driven by the European Centre for medium-Range Weather Forecasts Reanalysis 5(ERA5)dataset and served as the validation *** original GCm dataset(mPI-ESm1-2-HR model)was used to drive the second simulation(WRF_GCm),while the third simulation(WRF_GCmbc)was driven by the bias-corrected GCm *** bias-corrected GCm data has an ERA5-based mean and interannual variance and long-term trends derived from the ensemble mean of 18 CmIP6 *** demonstrate that the WRF_GCmbc significantly reduced the root-mean-square errors(RmSEs)of the climatological mean of downscaled variables,including temperature,precipitation,snow,wind,relative humidity,and planetary boundary layer height by 50%–90%compared to the WRF_***,the RmSEs of interannual-tointerdecadal variances of downscaled variables were reduced by 30%–60%.Furthermore,the WRF_GCmbc better captured the annual cycle of the monsoon circulation and intraseasonal and day-to-day *** leading empirical orthogonal function(EOF)shows a monopole precipitation mode in the WRF_*** contrast,the WRF_GCmbc successfully reproduced the observed tri-pole mode of summer precipitation over eastern *** improvement could be attributed to a better-simulated location of the western North Pacific subtropical high in the WRF_GCmbc after GCm bias correction.

Spinel ferrites exhibit exceptional magnetic properties,making them a distinctive class of magnetic *** sol-gel technique was utilized for the synthesis of spinel ferrites with the chemical formula Co_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Ce_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4). In order to maintain the optimal operating temperature of the battery surface and meet the demand for thermal storage technology,battery thermal management system based on phase change materials has attracted increasing *** this work,a kind of core-shell structured microcapsule was synthesized by an in-situ polymerization,where paraffin was used as the core,while methanol was applied to mod-ify the melamine-formaldehyde shell to reduce toxicity and improve thermal ***,three different types of heat conductive fillers with the same content of 10 wt.%,i.e.,nano-Al_(2)O_(3),nano-ZnO and carbon nanotubes were added,generating *** microcapsules were uniform,and were not affected by the thermal fillers,which were evenly dispersed *** composite sample with carbon nanotubes(10 wt.%)showed the highest thermal conductivity of 0.50 W/(m K)and latent heat of 139.64 J/***,according to the leakage testing and battery charge/discharge experiments,compared with Al_(2)O_(3)and ZnO,the addition of carbon nanotubes remarkably enhances the heat storage ability as latent heat from 126.98 J/g for the prepared sample with Al_(2)O_(3)and 125.86 J/g for the one with ZnO,then to 139.64 J/g,as well as dissipation performance as a cooling effect by decreasing the sur-face temperature of battery from 2%to 12%of microcapsule,composite sample with carbon nanotubes presents a broad application prospect in battery thermal management system and energy storage field.
