Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt)cotton production is challenged by two main problems,i.e.,the low concentration of Bt protein at the boll setting stage and the lowest insect resistance in bolls among all the cotton plant’s ***,increasing the Bt protein concentration at the boll stage,especially in bolls,has become the main goal for increasing insect resistance in *** this study,two protein degradation inhibitors(ethylene di.m.ne tetra acetic acid(EDTA)and leupeptin)were sprayed on the bolls,subtending leaves,and whole cotton plants at the peak flowering stage of two Bt cultivars(medi.m.maturation Sikang 1(SK1))and early maturation Zhongmian 425(Zm425)in 2019 and *** Bt protein content and protein degradation metaboli.m.were *** results showed that the Bt protein concentrations were enhanced by 21.3 to 38.8%and 25.0 to 38.6%in the treated bolls of SK1 and Zm425 respectively,while they were decreased in the subtending leaves of these treated *** the treated leaves,the Bt protein concentrations increased by 7.6 to 23.5%and 11.2 to 14.9%in SK1 and Zm425,*** combined application of EDTA and leupeptin to the whole cotton plant increased the Bt protein concentrations in both bolls and subtending *** Bt protein concentrations in bolls were higher,increasing by 22.5 to 31.0%and 19.6 to 32.5%for SK1 and Zm425,*** organs treated with EDTA or/and leupeptin showed reduced free amino acid contents,protease and peptidase activities and significant enhancements in soluble protein *** results indicated that inhibiting protein degradation could improve the protein content,thus increasing the Bt protein concentrations in the bolls or/and leaves of cotton ***,the increase in the Bt protein concentration without yield reduction suggested that these two protein degradation inhibitors may be applicable for improving insect resistance in cotton production.

The transverse momentum distributions of charged hadrons produced in proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energies(√s)of 0.9 TeV and 2.36 TeV,as measured by the CmS detector at the Large Hadron Collider(LHC),have been analyzed within various pseudorapidity classes utilizing the thermodynamically consistent Tsallis *** fitting procedure resulted in the key parameters,namely,effective temperature(T),non-extensivity parameter(q),and kinetic freezeout volume(V).Additionally,the mean transverse momentum()and initial temperature(T_(i))of the particle source are determined through the fit function and string percolation method,*** alternative method is employed to calculate the kinetic freezeout temperature(T_(0))and transverse flow velocity(β_(T))from ***,thermodynamic quantities at the freezeout,including energy density(ε),particle density(n),entropy density(s),pressure(P),and squared speed of sound(C_(s)^(2)),are computed using the extracted T and *** is also observed that,with a decrease in pseudorapidity,all thermodynamic quantities except V and q *** trend is attributed to greater energy transfer along the mid pseudorapidity.q increases towards higher values of pseudorapidity,indicating that particles close to the beam axis are far from ***,V remains nearly independent of *** excitation function of these parameters(q)shows a direct(inverse)correlation with collision *** ε,n,s,and P show a strong dependence on collision energies at low *** verification of the thermodynamic inequality ε≥3P suggests the formation of a highly dense droplet-like Quark-Gluon Plasma(QGP).Additionally,the inequality T_(i)>T>T_(0)is explicitly confi.m.d,aligning with the evolution of the produced fireball.

This paper details the development and testing of the first working prototype of the S-band high-power klystron,accomplished at the Budker institute of Nuclear Physics,Siberian Branch,Russian Academy of Sciences(BiNP SB RAS).Upon testing,the klystron demonstrated the following parameters:an operating frequency of 2856 mHz and a peak power output of 50 *** paper presents the klystron's design,its constituent units,and pertinent processing procedures,along with discussions on the measurement of its parameters.

BACKGROUND Women with a history of serious psychotic disorders are at increased risk of disease relapse during ***-acting injectable(LAi)antipsychotics have been widely used to improve adherence and prevent relapse in patients with various severe psychotic disorders,but there is a lack of high-quality data from previous research on the safety of LAi antipsychotics during *** To summarize relevant data on maternal,pregnancy,neonatal,and developmental outcomes from published cases of LAi antipsychotic use in *** A literature search was performed through November 11,2023,using three online databases:Pubmed/mEDLiNE,Scopus,and Web of *** reports or case series that reported information about the outcomes of pregnancy in women who used LAi antipsychotics at any point in pregnancy,with available full texts,were *** statistics,narrative summation,and tabulation of the extracted data were *** A total of 19 publications satisfied the inclusion criteria:3 case series,15 case reports,and 1 conference *** reported the outcomes of LAi antipsychotic use in 74 women and 77 *** use of secondgeneration LAi antipsychotics was reported in the majority(n=47;61.0%)of ***-generation LAi antipsychotics were administered during 30 pregnancies(39.0%).most of the women(approximately 64%)had either satisfactory control of symptoms or no information about relapse,while approximately 12%of them had developed gestational diabetes mellitus.A minority of cases reported adverse outcomes such as stillbirth,spontaneous abortion,preterm birth,low birth weight,congenital anomalies,and neurological manifestations in ***,there were no reports of negative long-term developmental *** Currently available data seem reassuring,but further well-designed studies are required to properly evaluate the risks and benefits of LAi antipsychotic use during pregnancy.
