A novel architecture of a pipelined redundant-signed-digit analog to digital converter（RSD-ADC） is presented featuring a high signal to noise ratio（SNR）, spurious free dynamic range（SFDR） and signal to noise plus distortion（SNDR） with efficient background correction logic. The proposed ADC architecture shows high accuracy with a high speed circuit and efficient utilization of the hardware. This paper demonstrates the functionality of the digital correction logic of 14-bit pipelined ADC at each 1.5 bit/stage. This prototype of ADC architecture accounts for capacitor mismatch, comparator offset and finite Op-Amp gain error in the MDAC（residue amplification circuit）stages. With the proposed architecture of ADC, SNDR obtained is 85.89 d B, SNR is 85.9 d B and SFDR obtained is 102.8 d B at the sample rate of 100 MHz. This novel architecture of digital correction logic is transparent to the overall system, which is demonstrated by using 14-bit pipelined ADC. After a latency of 14 clocks, digital output will be available at every clock pulse. To describe the circuit behavior of the ADC, VHDL and MATLAB programs are used. The proposed architecture is also capable of reducing the digital hardware. Silicon area is also the complexity of the design.

The doubly-doped bismuth vanadate with Al and Ti having formula unit, Bi2V1–xAlx/2Tix/2O5.5–δ(0.10 ≤ x ≤ 0.25) was synthesized. The specimens were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR), differential scanning calorimetric(DSC), UV–Vis, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) for their structural, thermal, optical, and electrical studies. Influence of both dopant cations(Al and Ti) was observed in the gradual stabilization of the tetragonal phase of Bi2VO5.5–δ with dopant amount. A non-uniform grain growth phenomenon was observed up to x = 0.175, with dopant addition. UV–Vis study revealed the comparatively higher order of oxide ion vacancies for the composition x = 0.175. Impedance spectroscopy measurements indicate a significant decrease of both the grain(Rg) and grain boundary resistances(Rgb) with the rise in temperature and the overall resistance is found to be dominated by the grain interior contribution. Enhancement of ionic conductivity was found in all the compositions in the intermediate temperature range as compared to the parent compound, and the single Al-doped system and the highest value were obtained for x = 0.175.

This paper showed simple and effective synthesis of copper nanoparticles within controlled diameter using direct electroless deposition on glass substrates, following the sensitization and activation steps. Electroless-deposited metals, such as Cu, Co, Ni, and Ag, and their alloys had many advantages in micro- and nanotechnologies. The structural, morphological, and optical properties of copper deposits were characterized using X-ray diffraction （XRD）, atomic force microscopy （AFM）, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The structural data was further analyzed using the Rietveld refinement program. Structural studies reveal that the deposited copper prefers a （111） orientation. AFM studies suggest the deposited materials form compact, uniform, and nanocrystalline phases with a high tendency to self-organize. The data show that the particle size can be controlled by controlling the activator concentration. The absorption spectra of the as-deposited copper nanoparticles reveal that the plasmonic peak broadens and exhibits a blue shift with decreasing particle size.

The present study reports and discusses the genesis of zincian chromite in the ultramafic xenoliths from the Dongripali area,Bastar craton,Central *** zincian chromite is in the ultramafic xenoliths of Bengpal supracrustal rock hosted by Neoarchaean Bundeli *** zincian chromite shows a range of Cr_(2)O_(3)(39.69 to 51.66 wt%),Al_(2)O_(3)(05.30 wt%to 08.71 wt%),FeO(21.74 wt%to 27.51 wt%),Fe_(2)O_(3)(10.19 wt%to 19.36wt%)with higher ZnO content ranging from 1.73 wt%to 4.08 wt%.Accordingly,their Cr#[Cr/(Cr+Al)]varies in a narrow range from 0.83 to *** calculated melt composition supports metamorphic or post-magmatic nature rather than common occurrences such as inclusion in diamonds,meteorites,and association with any sulfide-rich mineralised *** reveals that the post-magmatic processes play a vital role in transforming chromite to zincian *** empirical thermometric calculation from chromite,amphibole,and pyroxene support their metamorphic origin and formed during low-P and high-T amphibolite grade facies of metamorphism(~700℃).The Neoarchaean granitic magmatism has a significant role in generating and transferring the heat during contact metamorphism with hydration of ultramafic xenoliths and further alteration,i.e.,*** olivine is a major repository for Mn,Zn,and Co in peridotite/ultramafic;these elements get mobilised during the metamorphism and *** is a possible reason for the mobilisation of zinc and incorporation in the chromite within altered *** a result,chromiterich ultramafic xenolith subjected to metamorphic process gets enrichment of Zn and Fe due to elemental *** converts common chromite into zincian chromite,as reported in altered ultramafics elsewhere.

In the present study, bond-coats for thermal barrier coatings were deposited via air plasma spraying（APS） techniques onto Inconel 800 and Hastelloy C-276 alloy substrates. Scanning electron microscopy（SEM）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, and atomic force microscopy（AFM） were used to investigate the phases and microstructure of the as-sprayed, APS-deposited Co Ni Cr Al Y bond-coatings. The aim of this work was to study the suitability of the bond-coat materials for high temperature applications. Confirmation of nanoscale grains of the γ/γ′-phase was obtained by TEM, high-resolution TEM, and AFM. We concluded that these changes result from the plastic deformation of the bond-coat during the deposition, resulting in Co Ni Cr Al Y bond-coatings with excellent thermal cyclic resistance suitable for use in high-temperature applications. Cyclic oxidative stability was observed to also depend on the underlying metallic alloy substrate.

BACKGROUND:Although the treatment of extrahepatic metastases from primary liver tumors is essentially palliative,solitary metastasis from such tumors offers a possibility of cure by surgical *** adrenal gland is an uncommon site for metastasis from primary liver tumors. METHOD:We report two cases of adrenalectomy for solitary adrenal metastasis:one from intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and the other from hepatocellular carcinoma. RESULTS:The patient with intrahepatic cholangiocar- cinoma had a synchronous adrenal metastasis and underwent simultaneous liver resection and adrenalectomy. However,he developed recurrent disease 17 months following surgery for which he is presently on palliative *** other patient underwent adrenalectomy for adrenal metastasis 3 months following liver transplantation for hepatocellular *** is presently alive and disease-free 27 months after adrenalectomy. CONCLUSION:Carefully selected patients with solitary metastasis from primary liver tumors may be considered for resection.

This paper proposes to adopt SCADA and PLC technology for the improvement of the performance of real time signaling&train control systems in metro *** main concern of this paper is to minimize the failure in automated metro railways system operator and integrate the information coming from Operational Control Centre(OCC),traction SCADA system,traction power control,and power supply *** work presents a simulated prototype of an automated metro train system operator that uses PLC and SCADA for the real time monitoring and control of the metro railway ***,SCADA is used for the visualization of an automated process operation and then the whole opera-tion is regulated with the help of *** PLC used in this process is OMRON(NX1P2-9024DT1)and OMRON’s Sysmac studio programming software is used for developing the ladder logic of *** metro railways system has deployed infrastructure based on SCADA from the power supply system,and each station’s traction power control is connected to the OCC remotely which commands all of the stations and has the highest command *** alarm is triggered in the event of an emergency or system *** proposed system overcomes the drawbacks of the current centralized automatic train control(CATC)*** system provides prominent beneﬁts like augmenting services which may enhance a network’s full load capacity and networkﬂexibility,which help in easy modiﬁcation in the existing program at any time.
