The adsorption process of droplets on the liquid-liquid interface and phase separation process can regulate the spatial distribution of the fluid system,which are crucial for chemical ***,the cross-linking reaction,which is widely used in the field of polymers,can change the physical properties of the fluids and affect the flow behavior accordingly.A configuration of microchannels is designed to conveniently generate uniform droplets in one phase of the parallel *** flow behavior of the adsorption process of sodium alginate droplets on the liquid-liquid interface is investigated,and the subsequent process of phase separation is *** the process of droplet adsorption,the crosslinking reaction occurs synchronously,which makes the droplet viscosity and the elasticity modules of the droplet surface increase,thus affecting the dynamics of the adsorption process and the equilibrium shape of the *** variation of the adsorption length with time is divided into three stages,which all conform to power law *** exponents of the second and third stages deviate from the results of the Tanner's *** flow pattern maps of droplet adsorption and phase separation are drawn,and the operating ranges of complete adsorption and complete separation are *** study provides a theoretical basis for further studying the flow behavior of droplets with cross-linking reaction in a microchannel.

Following the framework of E-N model(Eisenberg and Noe,2001),the authors consider a new clearing mechanism based on net liabilities among financial institutions since the liabilities between the counterparties should be deducted accordingly when clearing in *** the basis for systemic risk measurement,similar to the original E-N model,the authors first establish some good properties for the clearing payment vector according to a more general ***,the authors investigate how risk spreads among institutions through the liability network forming the risk contagion ***,the authors illustrate with a specific example that the original E-N clearing mechanism may misidentify the systemic important institutions,and theoretically show that it may also overestimate the risk compared with the netting clearing mechanism.

Currently,three types of superconducting quadrupole magnets are used in particle accelerators:cos 2θ,CCT,and ***,all three coil configurations have complex spatial geometries,which make magnet manufacturing and strain-sensitive superconductor applications *** with the three existing quadrupole coils,the racetrack quadrupole coil has a simple shape and manufacturing process,but there have been few theoretical *** this paper,the two-dimensional and three-dimensional analytical expressions for the magnetic field in coil-dominated racetrack superconducting quadrupole magnets are *** analytical expressions of the field harmonics and gradient are fully resolved and depend only on the geometric parameters of the coil and current ***,a genetic algorithm is applied to obtain a solution for the coil geometry parameters with field harmonics on the order of 10^(-4).Finally,considering the practical engineering needs of the accelerator interaction region,electromagnetic design examples of racetrack quadrupole magnets with high gradients,large apertures,and small apertures are described,and the application prospects of racetrack quadrupole coils are analyzed.

Monomers with low symmetries can form different topological structures in the preparation of organic two-dimensional(2D)***,it remains challenging to modulate the topologies in practical *** theoretical insights into the formation energy of potential structural configurations,we report the topology modulation of a graphdiyne(GDY)derivative constructed from two-fold symmetric tetrakis(4-ethynylphenyl)ethene precursor by changing solvent combinations in a liquid-liquid interfacial *** aqueous-organic(water-dichloromethane)interface afforded GDY with a kagome topology while a rhombic topology was formed at an organic-organic(hexane-acetonitrile)interface.A comprehensive evaluation of their structures and optoelectronic properties was conducted through various characterization techniques and theoretical *** study provided new insights to modulate the topology of not only GDY but also other framework structures and obtain topologically pure materials in situations where different topologies are possible during practical synthesis.

As the interaction between the combustor and the turbine in the aero-engine continues to increase,the film cooling design considering the combustor swirling outflow has become the research *** swirling inflow and high-temperature gas first affect the vane leading edge(LE).However,no practical improved solution for the LE cooling design has been proposed considering the combustor swirling *** this paper,the improved scheme of showerhead cooling is carried out around the two ways of adopting the laid-back-fan-shaped hole and reducing the coolant outflow *** film cooling effectiveness(η) and the coolant flow state are obtained by PSP(pressure-sensitive-paint) and numerical simulation methods,*** research results show that the swirling inflow increases the film distribution inhomogeneity by imposing the radial pressure gradient on the vane to make the film excessively gather in some *** showerhead film cooling adopts the laid-back-fan-shaped hole to reduce the momentum when the coolant flows *** this cooling scheme improves the film attachment and increases the surface-averaged film cooling effectiveness(η_(sur)) by as much as15.4%,the film distribution inhomogeneity *** reducing the coolant outlet angle,the wall-tangential velocity of the coolant increases,and the wall-normal velocity *** the swirl intake condition,both ηand the film distribution uniformity are significantly increased,and the growth of η_(sur) is up to 16.5%.This paper investigates two improved schemes to improve the showerhead cooling under the swirl intake condition to provide a reference for the vane cooling design.

Effect of heat treatment on the microstructure,mechanical properties and fracture behaviors of ultra-high-strength SiC/Al-Zn-Mg-Cu composites

A high-zinc composite,12vol%SiC/Al-13.3 Zn-3.27 Mg-1.07Cu(wt%),with an ultra-high-strength of 781 MPa was success-fully fabricated through a powder metallurgy method,followed by an extrusion *** effects of solid-solution and aging heat treat-ments on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the composite were extensively *** with a single-stage sol-id-solution treatment,a two-stage solid-solution treatment(470℃/1 h+480℃/1 h)exhibited a more effective solid-solution strengthen-ing owing to the higher degree of solid-solution and a more uniform *** to the aging hardness curves of the com-posite,the optimized aging parameter(100℃/22 h)was *** the aging temperature and time resulted in finer and more uniform nanoscale precipitates but only yielded a marginal increase in tensile *** fractography analysis revealed that intergranu-lar cracking and interface debonding were the main fracture mechanisms in the ultra-high-strength SiC/Al-Zn-Mg-Cu *** regions,such as the SiC/Al interface containing numerous compounds and the precipitate-free zones at the high-angle grain boundaries,were identified as significant factors limiting the strength enhancement of the *** compounds,including MgO,MgZn2,and Cu5Zn8,reduced the interfacial bonding strength,leading to interfacial debonding.
