Acid release from an Acid Sulfate Soil Sample Under Successive Extractions with Different Extractants

An acid sulfate soil sample was successively extracted with deionized water, 1 mol L-1 KCl and 0.000 5 mol L-l Ca(OH)2 solutions. The results showed that only very small amounts of acidity were extracted by deionized water, possibly through slow jarosite hydrolysis. Acid release through jarosite hydrolysis was greatly enhanced by Ca(OH)2 extraction at the expense of the added OH- being neutralized by the acid released. Successive extraction of the sample with KCl removed the largest amounts of acidity from the sample. However, it is likely that the major form of acidity released by KCl extraction was exchangeable acidity. The results also show the occurrence of low or non charged Al and Fe species in water and Ca(OH)2 extracts after first a few extractions. It appears that such a phenomenon was related to a decreasing EC value with increasing number of extractions.

This paper discusses the design of a wideband low noise amplifier（LNA） in which specific architecture decisions were made in consideration of system-on-chip implementation for radio-astronomy *** LNA design is based on a novel ultra-low noise InGaAs/InAlAs/InP *** and non-linear modelling of this pHEmT has been used to design an LNA operating from 2 to 4 GHz.A common-drain in cascade with a common source inductive degeneration,broadband LNA topology is proposed for wideband *** proposed configuration achieved a maximum gain of 27 dB and a noise figure of 0.3 dB with a good input and output return loss（S11〈—10 dB,S22〈—11 dB）.This LNA exhibits an input 1-dB com.ression point of-18 dBm,a third order input intercept point of 0 dBm and consumes 85 mW of power from a 1.8 V supply.

Prostate cancer （PCa） is the most common solid-organ cancer in Am.rican males and the second most common cause of cancer-related death in men. With the advent of prostate-specific antigen screening, death from PCa continues to decline. However, recent evidence suggests that there is now a trend towards increasing incidence.1 Current screening strategies result in increased incidence of low-risk PCa and importantly, the diagnosis of PCa is becoming m.re common in younger patients.2 The majority of early-stage PCa patients have a high likelihood of disease free survival after treatment.

Objective:To determine Neospora caninum(***)as a cause of bovine abortion in dairy cows by ELISA,PCr and Pathological methods in Tabriz,Northwest of ***:For study of outbreak of neosporosis,blood samples were collected from 76 Holstein aborted dairy cows in Tabriz(Northwest Iran).Antibodies to *** were assayed by using a comm.rcially ELISA kit(1DEXX,USA).IgG against *** were found in 14(18.4%)cases,Aborted fetuses of these seropositive dams were proposed for histopathological and molecular ***,spinal cords and placentas of the fetuses were fixed in 10%buffered formalin for *** 5-10 g of brain tissue was sampled for DNA *** 6 out of 14(42.8%)fetuses,brain tissue was positive in *** dams of these fetuses were serologically seropositive in ELISA test,results:Histopathologically,the lesions consistent with *** were observed in brains,spinal cords and placenta of all *** in CNS included severe *** and perineuronal edema,status spongiosis,perivascular cuffing,focal gliosis,nourophagy and focal *** were some Neospora-like cysts in *** placentas,severe congestion,perivascular infiltration of mononuclear cells,vascular thrombosis,focal placentitis and necrotic foci in cotyledons were ***:The results of present study agreed the results of similar studies about serological,histopathological and molecular results of other studies about neosporosis and it seems lo support the outbreak of ***-associated abortion in dairy cows in Tabriz(Northwest Iran).

In this paper, we prove the existence and the global exponential stability of the unique weighted pseudo almost-periodic solution of shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with mixed time-varying delays com.rising different discrete and distributed time delays. Some sufficient conditions are given for the existence and the global exponential stability of the weighted pseudo almost-periodic solution by employing fixed point theorem and differential inequality techniques. The results of this paper complement the previously known ones. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our results.

1. Introduction and Phenomenology In theories of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking, the electroweak interactions are broken to electromagnetism by the vacuum expectation value of a composite operator, typically a fermion bilinear. In these theories, the longitudinal compo- nents of the massive weak bosons are identified with composite Nambu-Goldstone bosons arising from dynamical symmetry breaking in a strongly-coupled extension of the standard model. Viable theories of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking must also explain （or at least accommodate） the presence of an additional composite scalar state to be identified with the H^0 scalar boson [1,2] - a state unlike any other observed to date.
