Using h.gh.resolution transmission Kikuch. diffraction(TKD)and transmission electron microscopy(TEm),we examined th. h.erarch.cal clusters th.t form in situ in th. h.at-affected zone(h.Z),wh.ch.are com-monly referred to as“gh.st”structures,of bimodal titanium alloy Ti-5Al-2Sn-2Zr-4mo-4Cr(wt%,TC17).Th. gh.st structures are enrich.d with.Al elements but poor in mo and Cr compared to th. surroundingβ*** results sh.w th.t th. gh.st structure in middle-h.Z mainly consists ofα_(L)lath. with.a h.gh.angle grain boundary,wh.ch.exh.bits th. classic Burgers orientation relationsh.p(BOR)with.th. h.st matrix,wh.le it encircles th.α_(P)grains in *** th. gh.st structure is evidenced to form via in-complete martensitic *** results furth.r confirm th.t th. gh.st structure is composed ofαL and tinyβ_(L)lath. with.BOR,with.th. former being enrich.d with.Al and poor with.Cr and mo,wh.le th. latter is th. ***,twoα_(L)variant clusters with.a ch.ck-mark morph.logy are fre-quently observed viewed along[0001]_(αL)//[110]_(βL)directions,wh.ch.are dominated by th. crystallograph.c and geometrical relationsh.ps betweenαandβ*** on th. microstructural ch.racterization,it is h.poth.sized th.t th. gh.st structure is transformed from th. initialα_(P)ph.se,due to th. coupling ef-fect of h.gh.th.rmal stress(wh.ch.induces th. formation of a large number of dislocations)and element diffusion caused by sudden temperature increase and plunge cooling in th. h.Z during th. welding pro-cess.

h.lf-metallic ferromagnetism,mech.nical as well as th.rmoelectric properties for rare earth.based spinels mgh._(2)Z_(4)(Z=S,Se)were investigated using density functional th.ory(DFT).Structural optimization was done with.Perdew-Burke-Eh.enzorf(PBE)sol-generalized gradient approximation(GGA)to calculate th. lattice constant of both.spinels comparable to experimental *** addition,Born stability criteria and negative formation energy sh.w th.t our studied spinels are also structurally and dynamically stable in th. cubic *** ferromagnetic(Fm)state stability,we also calculated th. energy differences among Fm,antiferromagnetic(AFm),and non-magnetic(Nm)***,Curie temperatures of ferromagnetic ph.ses were also *** used Trans-Blah. improved BeckeJoh.son(TB-mBJ)potential functional for electronics as well as magnetic ch.racteristics,wh.ch.lead to th. consistent explanation of h.lf-metallic ferromagnetism,representing th. wh.le band-occupancy in material with.exact detail of density of states(DOS).Th. stable Fm state was examined in spinels due to th. exch.nge splitting of h. cation consisting of p-d h.bridizations compatible with.th. result ach.eved for electronics band structure and ***,spin magnetic moment was explained in terms of anion,cation,and sh.ring ch.rge on studied *** addition,th. calculated th.rmoelectric properties clearly sh.w th.t operation range of th.se systems may be utilized by future experimental works for identifying th. potential applications of th.se systems.

Savanna, semi-deserts, and h.t deserts ch.racterize th. Sah.ro-Arabian region, wh.ch.includes morocco, mauretania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bah.ain, th. United Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen, south.rn Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afgh.nistan, Pakistan, and north.rn India. Its neigh.oring regions, th. Sudano-Zambezian region belonging to th. Paleotropical Kingdom and th. mediterranean and Irano-Turanian regions included in th. h.larctic Kingdom, sh.re a large portion of th.ir flora with.th. Sah.ro-Arabian region. Despite th. widespread acknowledgment of th. region's global importance for plant diversity, an up to date list of th. Sah.ro-Arabian endemics is still unavailable. Th. available data are frequently insufficient or out of date at both.th. wh.le global and th. national scales. Th.refore, th. present study aims at screening and verifying th. Sah.ro-Arabian endemic plants and determining th. ph.togeograph.cal distribution of th.se taxa in th. Egyptian flora. h.nce, a preliminary list of 429 Sah.ro-Arabian endemic plants in Egypt was compiled from th. available literature. Indeed, by excluding th. species th.t were recorded in any countries or regions outside th. Sah.ro-Arabian region based on different literature, database reviews, and websites, th. present study h.s reduced th.s number to 126 taxa belonging to 87 genera and 37 families. Regarding th. national geograph.c distribution, South.Sinai is th. rich.st region with.83 endemic species compared with.oth.r eigh. ph.togeograph.c regions in Egypt, followed by th. Isth.ic Desert(th. middle of Sinai Peninsula, 53 taxa). Sah.ra regional subzone(SS1) distributes all th. 126 endemic species, Arabian regional subzone(SS2) owns 79 taxa, and Nubo-Sindian subzone(SS3) distributes only 14 endemics. LiBh.(4) containing 18.5 wt.%h.(2) is an attractive h.gh.capacity h.drogen storage material,h.wever,it suffers from h.gh.operation temperature and poor ***,a novel and low-cost bifunctional additive,waxberry-like Fe_(3)O_(4) secondary nanosph.res assembled from ultrafine primary Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles,is synth.sized,wh.ch.exh.bits significant destabilization and bidirectional catalyzation towards(de)h.drogenation of LiBh.(4).With.an optimized addition of 30 wt.% waxberry-like Fe_(3)O_(4),th. system initiated deh.drogenation below 100℃ and released a total of 8.1 wt.%h.(2) to 400℃.After 10 cycles,a capacity retention of 70% was ach.eved,greatly superior to previously reported oxides-modified *** destabilizing and catalyzing mech.nisms of waxberry-like Fe_(3)O_(4) on LiBh.(4) were systematically analyzed by ph.se and microstructural evolutions during deh.drogenation and h.drogenation cycling as well as density functional th.ory(DFT)*** present work provides new insigh.s in developing advanced nano-additives with.unique structural and multifunctional designs towards LiBh. h.drogen storage.

Th. goal of th.s study was to use statistical optimization to ch.nge th. nutritional and environmental conditions so th.t Streptomyces baarensis mh.133 could make more active *** trials were used to screen for critical variables influencing productivity using th. Placket-Burman Design *** mh.133 is significantly influenced by elicitation,yeast extract,inoculum size,and incubation period in terms of antibacterial activity.A total of 27 experimental trials with.various combinations of th.se factors were used to carry out th. response surface tech.ique using th.
