AIm:In order to identify the HPTLC profile(bio-marker),at species level,for the identification and confirmation of crude drugs,HPTLC separation was initiated on different parts of Aerva lanata *** South ***:Preliminary phyto-chemical screening was done by the method of *** studies were carried out following Harborne and Wagner et al *** Ethyl acetate-ethanol-water(8:2:1.2)was employed as mobile phase for ***:The methanolic extract of stem,leaves,root,flowers and seeds of *** showed the presence of 23 different types of glycosides with 23 different Rf values with range 0.02 to *** general higher degree of glycoside diversity has been observed in vegetative parts when compared to the reproductive *** number(12)of glycosides has been observed in root followed by stem(9).CONCLUSION:The results of the present study supplemented the folkloric usage of the studied plants which possess several known and unknown bioactive com-pounds with *** isolating and identifying these bioactive compounds new drugs can be formulated to treat various diseases.

This contribution presents a novel wear dependent virtual flow rate sensor for single stage single lobe progressing cavity pumps. We study the wear-induced material loss of the pump components and the impact of this material loss on the volumetric efficiency. The results are combined with an established backflow model to implement a backflow calculation procedure that is adaptive to wear. We use a laboratory test setup with a highly abrasive fluid and operate a pump from new to worn condition to validate our approach. The obtained measurement data show that the presented virtual sensor is capable of calculating the flow rate of a pump being subject to wear during its regular operation.

Congenital vascular anomalies affecting the liver have been described in the scientific literature for *** these malformations begins with knowledge of hepatic vascular *** have applied numerous classification systems to describe both intrahepatic and extrahepatic shunts,which can confuse the reader and *** our experience,focusing on one classification system for extrahepatic shunts and one for intrahepatic shunts is *** many patients with these shunts carry good long-term prognosis thanks to advances in imaging to better detect shunts earlier and classify *** intervention by skilled radiologists and surgeons have also limited complications arising from dynamic shunts and can avoid a liver *** hepatic shunts are not the only vascular condition affecting the *** hemorrhagic telangiectasia,also known as Osler Weber Rendu syndrome,particularly type 2,may have varying severity of hepatic involvement which warrants longitudinal care from an experienced ***,congenital hemangiomas,often first identified on the skin and oral mucosa,also can affect the *** most will resolve in infancy and childhood,the pediatric hepatologist must understand how and when to treat persistent lesions and their *** article serves as a concise reference to help clinicians better care for patients with these rare conditions.

Diabetes problems can lead to an eye disease called Diabetic Retinopathy(DR),which permanently damages the blood vessels in the *** not treated early,DR becomes a significant reason for *** identify the DR and determine the stages,medical tests are very labor-intensive,expensive,and *** address the issue,a hybrid deep and machine learning techniquebased autonomous diagnostic system is provided in this *** proposal is based on lesion segmentation of the fundus images based on the LuNet *** a Refined Attention Pyramid Network(RAPNet)is used for extracting global and local *** increase the performance of the classifier,the unique features are selected from the extracted feature set using Aquila Optimizer(AO)***,the LightGBm model is applied to classify the input image based on the *** investigations have been done to analyze the performance of the proposed framework on three publically available datasets(mESSIDOR,APTOS,and IDRiD)using several performance metrics such as accuracy,precision,recall,and *** proposed classifier achieves 99.29%,99.35%,and 99.31%accuracy for these three datasets *** outcomes of the experiments demonstrate that the suggested technique is effective for disease identification and reliable DR grading.

Despite the success of antiretroviral therapy,human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)cannot be cured because of a reservoir of latently infected cells that evades *** understand the mechanisms of HIV latency,we employed an integrated single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)and single-cell assay for transposase-accessible chromatin with sequencing(scATAC-seq)approach to simultaneously profile the transcriptomic and epigenomic characteristics of~125,000 latently infected primary CD4^(+)T cells after reactivation using three different latency reversing *** expressed genes and differentially accessible motifs were used to examine transcriptional pathways and transcription factor(TF)activities across the cell *** identified cellular transcripts and TFs whose expression/activity was correlated with viral reactivation and demonstrated that a machine learning model trained on these data was 75%-79%accurate at predicting viral ***,we validated the role of two candidate HIV-regulating factors,FOXP1 and GATA3,in viral *** data demonstrate the power of integrated multimodal single-cell analysis to uncover novel relationships between host cell factors and HIV latency.

Plasticity and Interfacial Dislocation mechanisms in Epitaxial and Polycrystalline Al Films Constrained by Substrates

Stresses in epitaxial and textured Al films were determined by substrate-curvature measurements. It was found that in both cases the flow stresses increase with decreasing film thickness. The flow stresses in the epitaxial Al films are in agreement with a dislocation-based model, while the same model strongly underestimates the flow stresses of textured Al films. In-situ transmission electron microscopy studies indicate that dislocations channeling through epitaxial Al films on single-crystalline (0001) α-AI2O3 substrates frequently deposit dislocation segments adjacent to the interface. Furthermore, the AI/α-AI2O3 interface acted as a dislocation source. In this case, the interface is between two crystalline lattices. In contrast, the interface of textured Al films on oxidized silicon substrates is between the crystalline Al and the amorphous SiOx interlayer. It is speculated that the different nature of the interfaces changes dislocation mechanisms and thus influences the flow stresses.

Soil samples were collected from three land use types within Baghdad urban areas. The samples analyzed for Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, mn, Ni, Pb and Zn indicated higher concentration of Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Ni, Pb and Zn in the industrial area, while higher concentration of mn was observed in the residential areas. However, the concentration of Cd, Ni and Pb was higher than the calculated worldwide mean of unpolluted soil. For both roadside and open areas soils, industrial area exhibited high values of Cd, Ni and Pb. The highest Single Element Pollution Index (SEPI) for Cd, Ni and Pb in the industrial soils seems therefore to be that this type of soil is the most polluted in the city of Baghdad. The calculated Combined Pollution Index (CPI) for Cd, Ni and Pb ranged from 0.98 to 2.15 with a mean of 1.28 for the entire urban soil samples, with the highest values in the industrial area which suggest multi-element contamination and in some cases are recommended for treatment. Furthermore, significant to extremely high values of enrichment factors were recorded confirming an important role of anthropogenic pollution.

Fracture toughness is very important when applying Damage Tolerance Design and Assessment Techniques. The traditional testing approach for obtaining fracture toughness values is costly and time consuming. In order to estimate the fracture toughness of ductile metals, the fracture mechanics theory, materials plastic deformation theory and materials constructive relationships are employed here. A series of formulae and a theoretical approach are presented to calculate fracture toughness values of different materials in the plane stress and plane strain conditions. Compared with test results, evaluated values have a good agreement.
