In arbitrary Riemannian 4-spaces, continuity equations are constructed which could be interpreted as conservation laws for the energy and momentum of the gravitational field. special attention is given to general relativity to obtain, of natural manner, the pseudotensors of Einstein, landau-lifshitz, moeller, Goldberg and stachel, and also the conservation equations of Komar, Trautman, DuPlessis and moss.

Cover crops have long been proposed as an alternative soil management for minimizing erosion rates in olive stands while providing additional ecosystem ***,the trade-off between these benefits and the competition for water with the trees makes the definition of optimal management practices a challenging task in semiarid *** work presents an improved version of OliveCan,a process-based simulation model of olive orchards that now can simulate the main impacts of cover crops on the water and carbon balances of olive *** simple in its formulation,the new model components were developed to deal with different cover crop management *** are presented for simulation runs of a traditional olive orchard in the conditions of southern spain,evaluating the effects of different widths for the strip occupied by the cover crop(Fcc)and two contrasting mowing *** revealed that high Fccresulted in lower olive yields,but only when mowing was applied at the end of *** this regard,late mowing and high Fccwas associated with lower soil water content from spring to summer,coinciding with olive flowering and the earlier stages of fruit *** also negatively correlated with surface runoff irrespective of the mowing *** the other hand,net ecosystem productivity(NEP)was substantially affected by both Fccand mowing *** simulations under future climate scenarios comparing the same management alternatives are also presented,showing substantial yield reductions by the end of the century and minor or negligible changes in NEP and seasonal runoff.

lipid peroxidation and iron accumulation are closely associated with neurodegenerative diseases,such as Alzheimer’s,Parkinson’s,and Huntington’s diseases,or neurodegeneration with brain iron accumulation *** dysfunction,lipofuscin accumulation,autophagy disruption,and ferroptosis have been implicated as the critical pathomechanisms of lipid peroxidation and iron accumulation in these ***,the connection between lipid peroxidation and iron accumulation and the initial cause or consequence in neurodegeneration processes is *** this review,we have compiled the known mechanisms by which lipid peroxidation triggers iron accumulation and lipofuscin formation,and the effect of iron overload on lipid peroxidation and cellular *** vicious cycle established between both pathological alterations may lead to the development of ***,the investigation of these mechanisms is essential for exploring therapeutic strategies to restrict *** addition,we discuss the interplay between lipid peroxidation and iron accumulation in neurodegeneration,particularly in PlA2G6-associated neurodegeneration,a rare neurodegenerative disease with autosomal recessive inheritance,which belongs to the group of neurodegeneration with brain iron accumulation disorders.

The development of some computational algorithms based on cellular automaton was described to simulate the structures formed during the solidification of steel *** algorithms described take results from the steel thermal behavior and heat removal previously calculated using a simulator developed by present authors in a previous *** time is used for displaying the steel transition from liquid to mushy and *** it is also used to command computational subroutines that reproduce nucleation and grain *** routines are logically programmed using the programming language C＋＋ and are based on a simultaneous solution of numerical methods （stochastic and deterministic） to create a graphical representation of different grain structures *** grain structure obtained is displayed on the computer screen using a graphical user interface （GUI）.The chaos theory and random generation numbers are included in the algorithms to simulate the heterogeneity of grain sizes and morphologies.

We present a sUsY model with four Higgs doublets of the"private type,"in which all fermion types(up,down,and charged leptons)obtain their masses from a different Higgs doublet H_f(f=u_1,d,e) .The conditions for anomaly cancellation imply that the remaining Higgs doublet of the model( H_(u_2) )must have the same hypercharge as H_(u_1) ,and thus,can only couple to up-type quarks,which opens the possibility to have FCNCs only in this *** study the lagrangian of the model,and in particular,the Higgs potential,to identify the Higgs mass-eigenstates and their interactions;for the Yukawa matrices,we consider the four-texture *** obtain constraints on the model parameters by using lHC measurements on the properties of the 125 GeV Higgs boson(h),and identify viable regions of the parameter ***,these constraints are used to evaluate the prospects for detecting the FCNC decay mode t→ch at the future high-luminosity(Hl)option for the lHC,which are compared with current limits from ***,we evaluate the FCNC decay of the next heavier Higgs boson H_(2)→tc ,which can typically reach BR(H_2→tc)≈(10^(-4)-10^(-5)) .The search for the signal at Hl-lHC is also studied,and it is found that it may be detectable for specific regions of the model parameter space.

The aim was to evaluate the potential of mucus-permeating nanoparticles for the oral administration of *** nanocarriers,based on the coating of zein nanoparticles with a polymer conjugate containing PEG,displayed a size of 260 nm with a negative surface charge and an insulin payload of 77 mg/*** intestinal pig mucus,the diffusivity of these nanoparticles(PPA-NPs)was found to be 20-fold higher than bare nanoparticles(NPs).These results were in line with the biodistribution study in rats,in which NPs remained trapped in the mucus,whereas PPA-NPs were able to cross this layer and reach the epithelium *** therapeutic effcacy was evaluated in Caenorhabditis elegans grown under high glucose *** this model,worms treated with insulin-loaded in PPA-NPs displayed a longer lifespan than those treated with insulin free or nanoencapsulated in *** finding was associated with a signifcant reduction in the formation of reactive oxygen species(ROs)as well as an important decrease in the glucose and fat content in *** effects would be related with the mucus-permeating ability of PPA-NPs that would facilitate the passage through the intestinal peritrophic-like dense layer of worms(similar to mucus)and,thus,the absorption of insulin.

AIm: To assess the relationship between choroidal thickness and renal function in diabetic patients. mETHODs: Cross-sectional retrospective clinical study of 42 eyes of 21 ocular treatment-na?ve diabetic patients. Demographic data included: age, sex, type and course of diabetes. Ocular data included: severity of diabetic retinopathy;retinal thickness at the central macular region, as well as choroidal thickness at the central and paracentral quadrants, using automatically generated maps by swept-source optical coherence tomography;presence of cystic macular edema;and ocular axial length(AXl). lab-test parameters included: glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c), albuminuria, albumin/creatinine ratio in urine, and glomerular filtration rate. REsUlTs: A significant negative correlation was mainly observed between several choroidal thicknesses, age(Plar AXl(Psignificant positive correlation was found between all choroidal thicknesses, HbA1 c(Plbuminuria(PlUsION: Choroidal thickness can represent an additional tool to help clinicians predicting the renal status in ocular treatment-na?ve diabetic patients.
