This paper presents two comparisons or tests for a Lagrangian model of zooplankton dispersion:numerical schemes and time ***,we compared three numerical schemes using idealized *** show that the precisions of the advanced Adams-Bashfold-moulton(ABm) method and the Runge-Kutta(rk) method were in the same order and both were much higher than that of the Euler ***,the advanced ABm method is more efficient than the rk method in computational memory requirements and time *** therefore chose the advanced ABm method as the Lagrangian particle-tracking ***,we performed a sensitivity test for time steps,using outputs of the hydrodynamic model,*** show that the time step choices depend on the fluid response time that is related to the spatial resolution of velocity *** method introduced by Oliveira et *** 2002 is suitable for choosing time steps of Lagrangian particle-tracking models,at least when only considering advection.

In this study,Tungsten Oxide(WO_3)thin films were prepared by Chemical Spray Pyrolysis(CSP)and Spin Coating(SC)techniques and it was investigated effects of technique and parameter on the ***_3 thin films were deposited on ITO(Indium Tin Oxide)coated *** structural,optical and electrochromic properties of the WO_3 thin films were characterized by XRD,SEm,UV,and CV *** sharpest(200)peak was observed in the XRD spectra and optical band gaps were calculated around 2.6～3.1 eVvia UV-Vis spectra for all of the *** fibrous reticulated surface(filamentous like)morphology for the films deposited by CSP technique and smooth surface morphology with high optical transmittance for the film deposited by SC Technique were obtained from SEm *** addition to these results,it was revealed that all the samples exhibit good electrochromic performance.

AIm: To compare two different anti-vascular endothelial growth factor(anti-VEGF) treatment regimens'-a priori pro re nata(PRN) and PRN regimen following^(th)e loading phaseanatomical and functional results in neovascular agerelated macular degeneration(n AmD) patients. mETHODS: Totally 544 n AmD patients followed and treated with aflibercept(n=135) and ranibizumab(n=409)at 9 different centers between 2013 and 2015 were enrolled into^(th)is retrospective multicenter study. Patients with initial best corrected visual acuity(BCVA) interval of 1.3-0.3(log mAR) and a minimum follow-up of 12 mo were included. Patients under two different regimens-a priori pro re nata(1+PRN) or 3 consecutive intravitreal injections followed by a PRN regimen(3+PRN)-were compared in BCVA at 3^(th), 6^(th) and 12^(th) months, and in central macular^(th)ickness(CmT) at 6^(th) and 12^(th) months. The total study group, intravitreal ranibizumab(IVR) and intravitreal aflibercept(IVA) groups were evaluated separately. RESULTS: The mean CmT decreased in^(th)e 1+PRN(n=101) regimen from 407 to 358 and 340 μm and in^(th)e 3+PRN(n=443) group from 398 to 318 and finally to 310 μm at months 6 and 12, respectively. Anatomically,^(th)e CmT reduction at 6^(th) month(48.5 vs 76.4;Pm 0.77 to 0.78, 0.75 and 0.75;in 3+PRN group from 0.81 to 0.69, 0.72, and 0.76 at months 3, 6, and 12, respectively. Visual gain was statistically better in 3+PRN group at 3^(th) month(-0.01 vs 0.12;PmT reduction was in greater in 3+PRN at 6^(th)(44 vs 72) and 12^(th) month(61 vs 84), but statistically insignificant. The 3+PRN group revealed statistically better visual results at 3^(th) month(-0.02 vs 0.11, PmT reduction(61 vs 89, 6^(th) month;85 vs 97, 12^(th) month) and visual gain(0.02 vs 0.16;0.02 vs 0.14;0.05 vs 0.11) was found in favor of 3+PRN group

In this paper, we have investigated the structural properties of rotating neutron stars using the numerical RNS code and equations of state which have been calculated within the lowest order constrained variational（LOCV）approach. In order to calculate the equation of state of nuclear matter, we have used UV（14）＋TNI and AV（18） *** have computed the maximum mass of the neutron star and the corresponding equatorial radius at different angular velocities. We have also computed the structural properties of Keplerian rotating neutron stars for the maximum mass configuration, mK, rk, fK and jmax.

Increasingp o p u latio n an d c o n stru ctio n o f roads have led to destab ilisatio n o f slopes, th u s leading to m ass w astingand m ovem ent, fu rth e r aggravation d u e to recen t events o f cloud bu rsts and u n p re c e d e n te d flash floods.V ulnerability analysis o f slopes is an im p o rta n t co m p o n e n t for th e ＂Landslide H azard A ssessm ent＂ and＂Slope mass C h aracterisation＂ guide p lan n ers to p red ict an d choose suitable w ays for c o n stru ctio n ofroads and o th e r en g in eerin g stru ctu res. The pro b lem o f landslides along th e n ational highw ay-58 （NH-58） from Rishikesh to D evprayag is a co m m o n scene. The slopes along th e NH-58 b e tw e e n Jonk andRishikesh w ere investigated, w h ich experienced v ery heavy traffic especially from m arch to A ugust dueto pilgrim age to K edarnath shrine. On th e basis o f slope m ass rating （SmR） investigation, th e area falls instable class, an d landslide susceptibility score （LSS） values also indicate th a t th e slopes u n d e r investigationfall in low to m o d erate v ulnerability to landslide. more atte n tio n s should be paid to th e slopes toachieve g reater safe an d econom ic b enefits along th e highw ay.

Fruit Yield and Quality, and Irrigation Water Use Efficiency of Summer Squash Drip-Irrigated with Different Irrigation Quantities in a Semi-Arid Agricultural Area

Fruit yield, yield components, fruit mineral content, total phenolic content, antioxidant activity and irrigation water use efifciency （IWUE） of summer squash responses to different irrigation quantities were evaluated with a ifeld study. Irrigations were done when the total evaporated water from a Class A pan was about 30 mm. Different irrigation quantities were adjusted using three different plant-pan coefifcients （Kcp, 100% （Kcp1）, 85% （Kcp2） and 70% （Kcp3））. Results indicated that lower irrigation quantities provided statistically lower yield and yield components. The highest seasonal fruit yield （80.0 t ha-1） was determined in the Kcp1 treatment, which applied the highest volume of irrigation water （452.9 mm）. The highest early fruit yield, average fruit weight and fruit diameter, length and number per plant were also determined in the Kcp1 treatment, with values of 7.25 t ha-1, 264.1 g, 5.49 cm, 19.95 cm and 10.92, respectively. Although the IWUE value was the highest in the Kcp1 treatment （176.6 kg ha-1 mm-1）, it was statistically similar to the value for Kcp3 treatment （157.1 kg ha-1 mm-1）. Total phenolic content and antioxidant activity of fruits was higher in the Kcp1 （44.27 μg gallic acid equivalents （GAE） mg-1 fresh sample） and in the Kcp2 （84.75%） treatments, respectively. major （Na, N, P, K, Ca, mg and S） and trace （Fe, Cu, mn, Zn and B） mineral contents of squash fruits were the highest in the Kcp2 treatment, with the exception of P, Ca and Cu. mineral contents and total phenolic content were signiifcantly affected by irrigation quantities, but antioxidant activity was not affected. It can be concluded that the Kcp1 treatment was the most suitable for achieving higher yield and IWUE. However, the Kcp2 treatment will be the most suitable due to the high fruit quality and relatively high yield in water shortage conditions.

The current work experimentally explores and then theoretically examines the lateral vibrations of an unbalanced Jeffcott rotor-system working at several unbalance *** this end,three conditions of eccentric masses are considered by using a Bently Nevada rk-4 rotor *** of the steady-state as well as the startup data at rigid and flexible rotor states are captured by conducting a setup that mimics the vibration monitoring industrial *** linear governing equation of the considered rotor is extracted by adopting the Lagrange method on the basis of rigid rotor assumptions to theoretically predict the lateral *** dynamic features of the rotor system such as the linearized bearing induced stiffness are exclusively acquired from startup *** is demonstrated that,with an error of less than 5%,the proposed two-degrees-of-freedom model can predict the flexural vibrations at rigid *** at flexible condition,it fails to accurately predict the dynamic *** contrast to the other works where nonlinear mathematical models with some complexities are proposed to mathematically model the real systems,the present study illustrates the applicability of employing simple models to predict the dynamic response of a real rotor-system with an acceptable accuracy.
