Oryza CLImtools:A genome–environment association resource reveals adaptive roles for heterotrimeric G proteins in the regulation of rice agronomic traits

modern crop varieties display a degree of mismatch between their current distributions and the suitability of the local climate for their *** address this issue,we present Oryza CLImtools(https://***/CLImtools/oryza_v1.0/),thefirst resource for pan-genome prediction of climate-associated genetic variants in a crop *** CLImtools consists of interactive web-based databases that enable the user to(1)explore the local environments of traditional rice varieties(landraces)in South-East Asia and(2)investigate the environment by genome associations for 658 Indica and 283 Japonica rice landrace accessions collected from georeferenced local environments and included in the 3K Rice Ge-nomes *** demonstrate the value of these resources by identifying an interplay betweenflowering time and temperature in the local environment that is facilitated by adaptive natural variation in OsHD2 and disrupted by a natural variant in *** quantitative trait locus analysis has suggested the impor-tance of heterotrimeric G proteins in the control of agronomic ***,we analyzed the climate associations of natural variants in the different heterotrimeric G protein *** identified a coordi-nated role of G proteins in adaptation to the prevailing potential evapotranspiration gradient and revealed their regulation of key agronomic traits,including plant height and seed and panicle *** conclude by highlighting the prospect of targeting heterotrimeric G proteins to produce climate-resilient crops.

In this paper,the synthesis,structural evolution,and dielectric properties of BaTiO_(3)solid solutions codoped with rare earth elements(Gd^(3+)and Eu^(3+))prepared using the solid-state reaction method are *** pure precursor powders of BaCl_3,TiO_(2),Gd_(2)O_(3),and Eu_(2)O_(3)were mixed in stoichiometric proportions,ground in an agate mortar before being uniaxially pressed at 250 mPa and sintered at 1300℃in air atmosphere for 6 h to obtain Ba_(1-3x)Gd_(2x)Ti_(1-3x)Eu_(4x)O_(3)(x=0,0.0015,0.01 and0.1).X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Rietveld's refinement results reveal the crystal phase ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO_(3)for the samples with x=0,0.0015 and 0.01,as well as a consistent increment in the lattice parameters caused by the *** solubility limit of Gd^(3+)and Eu^(3+)in the BaTiO_(3)structure is reached for the sample with x>0.01,and the orthorhombic Eu_2TiO_(5)and monoclinic BaTi_(2)O_(5)secondary phases were *** Raman results show the characteristic peaks of ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO_(3)around 716 cm^(-1)(LO of A1 symmetry),515 cm^(-1)(TO of A1 symmetry),and 305 cm^(-1)(B1).The maximum relative permittivity measured at 1 kHz was recorded to be 6151.8 for the sample with x=0.0015,and a decrease in the Curie temperature to 105℃with respect to the undoped sample was *** punctual microanalysis for the samples with x=0.0015,0.01,and 0.1 reveals grains composed of Ba,Ti,O,Gd,and Eu homogeneously distributed in the BaTiO_(3)*** Ba/Ti ratios for samples with x=0.0015,0.01 and 0.1 are 2.86,2.91,and 0.68,respectively,indicating substitution at the Ti site for samples with x=0.0015 and 0.01 and a substitution at the Ba site for the sample with x=0.1.

为提升武器射击精度,设计激光散射特性的红外瞄准镜基线检测方法。通过固定瞄准镜并利用黑体发射红外激光,在镜子反射后形成红外平行光束,并在瞄准镜视场内生成靶标的像。通过调整瞄准镜分划中心与靶标像中心重合,实现基线检测。采用双向反射分布函数和基尔霍夫近似理论的驻留相位近似法,分析红外激光的散射特性及波长与散射角对成像精度的影响,从而提高基线检测的精度。实验证明:当入射波长在9.5μm左右时,射击目标粗糙度为8μm时,双站极化散射系数最低,在1.0左右;当散射角在29°左右时,射击目标粗糙度为8μm时,双站极化散射系数最低在0.146左右;校正后目标位置偏差平均为0.01 m。

Ischemic stroke is a leading cause of death and disability *** response after stroke determines the outcome of ischemic injury.A recent study has reported an efficient method,epidural arterial implantation(EAI),for accelerating interstitial fluid(ISF)drainage,which provides a promising strategy to clear pro-inflammatory cytokines in the brain extracellular space(ECS).In this study,the method of EAI was modified(m-EAI)to control its function of accelerating the ISF drainage at different time points following ischemic *** neuroprotective effect of m-EAI on ischemic stroke was evaluated with the transient middle cerebral artery occlusion(tmCAO)rat *** results demonstrated the accumulation of IL-1β,IL-6,and TNF-αwas significantly decreased by activating m-EAI at 7 d before and immediately after ischemic attack in tmCAO rats,accompanied with decreased infarct volume and improved neurological *** study consolidates the hypothesis of exacerbated ischemic damage by inflammatory response and provides a new perspective to treat encephalopathy via brain *** research is essential to investigate whether m-EAI combined with neuroprotective drugs could enhance the therapeutic effect on ischemic stroke.

Statistical modelling for effect of mix-parameters on properties of high-flowing sand-concrete

The high-flowing sand-concrete （HFSC） containing natural sands as aggregate was carried out. The high fluidity and stability of HFSC can be achieved by tailoring the mix design parameters, such as fine to coarse sand ratio, dosage of additions, water to binder ratio and dosage of admixtures. mini-cone slump test, *** time test and viscosity model parameters were used to characterize the behaviour of HFSC in fresh state. The mechanical compressive strength in 28 d was also determined. A factorial design approach was used to establish models highlighting the effect of each mix-parameter on measured properties of HFSC. The derived models are valid for mixtures made with 0 to 0.3 of dune sand to total sand ratio, 82 to 418 kg/m3 of marble powder, 0.42 to 0.46 of water/binder ratio and 1.3% to 1.9% of superplasticizer high water-reducer. The results show that the derived models constitute very efficient means for understanding the influence of key mix-parameters on HFSC properties and are useful in selecting the optimum mix proportions, by simulating their impact on fluidity, stability and compressive strength.

High prevalence of soil-transmitted helminths in Southern Belize-highlighting opportunity for control interventions

Objective:To assess prevalence and intensity of soil-transmitted helminths(STH) in school age children of two southern districts as baseline information prior to implement a deworming program against intestinal parasites as part of an integrated country development ***:Children randomly selected from urban and rural schools in Southern Belize provided one stool sample each,analysed by the Kato-Katz method to assess prevalence and intensity of STH *** Info software was used for data analysis;Chi-square test and Fischer exact test were applied to compare group proportions;Pm 10 schools participated in the study from may to *** of STH ranged between 40%and 82%among schools,with a median of 59.2%;the majority of light intensity,and with 2.2%high intensity *** and Axaris infections presented similar frequency in children aged from 6 to 9 years old;hookworm infections tended to be more frequent in the older group 10 to 12 years *** significances(P≤0.01)were found in children in rural schools infected with any species of STH,in moderate Trichuris infections,in hookworm infections in rural areas with strong mayan presence and in Ascaris infections in children of mayan ***:High prevalence of STH in Southern Belize provided sound ground for implementing an integrated deworming control program.

本文报告了为创建护理知识网络(Nursing Knowledge Network,NKN)对不同国家护理院校进行环境扫描调查所收集到的信息。采用在线方式(2021年2-10月)进行环境扫描,探索研究领域的确定、现有资源、预期收益、教学研究创新、知识传播障碍及网络的预期贡献。目标信息提供者包括来自13个国家63所大学的200名护理教师。要求每所大学有1名参与者回答问卷。共有42所大学(约70%)回复,包括巴西21所,加拿大4所,葡萄牙和西班牙各3所,哥伦比亚、墨西哥、秘鲁和美国各2所,智利、意大利和巴拉圭各1所。其分享了相关信息和见解:通过护理高等教育机构之间的协作和交流,全球可以加强共同创新和研究合作能力;较少被研究的领域是知识网络生成证据、为当地科学实践提供信息的潜在重点。这些信息将为进一步了解护理发展,以及地方、区域和全球护理证据应用和传播相关的政府政策与计划制订提供参考。
