the burgeoning field of photocatalytic reduction of CO_(2)has emerged as a remarkable promising solution to address some of the most pressing global energy and environmental issues which we face *** around the global have been striving to augment the efficiency of CO_(2)photocatalytic reduction,employing strategies that range from modifying the fundamental properties of photocatalysts to suppress the electron-hole recombination,optimizing reaction conditions to achieve the highest yield,and conceptualizing and constructing photoreactors to improve the adsorption *** these factors,the photoreactor plays a critical role in enhancing the overall photocatalytic *** the various types of photoreactors and their operational dynamic can significantly influence the experimental design,thus guiding the data collecting and *** to the solid-liquid phase,gas-solid phase photocatalytic reduction of CO_(2)is gaining recognition for its potential advantages,such as rapid molecular diffusion rates,adjustable CO_(2)concentrations,and uniform and sufficient light ***,the currently reported gas-solid phase photoreactors are still in their *** this review,we dissect the underlying mechanism of photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction and the performance evaluation criteria of photoreactors,and review the development process of gas-solid phase ***,we explore the evolution of gas-solid phase photoreactors,elucidating their growth trajectory and future *** present a comprehensive classification of gas-solid phase photoreactors,offering a new insight into their design and functionality,summarizing their strengths and inevitable ***,we provide a forward-looking perspective on the future developmental prospects of carbon neutrality.

magnetoelastic couplings in giant magnetostrictive materials(Gmms)attract significant interests due to their extensive applications in the fields of spintronics and energy harvesting *** the role of the selection of materials and the response to external fields is essential for attaining desired functionality of a ***,machine learning(mL)models are conducted to predict saturation magnetostrictions(λ_(s))in RFe_(2)-type(R=rare earth)Gmms with different *** to mL-predicted composition–λsrelations,it is discovered that the values ofλshigher than1100×10^(-6)are almost situated in the composition space surrounded by 0.26≤x≤0.60 and 1.90≤y≤2.00 for the ternary compounds of tb_(x)Dy_(1-x)Fe_(y).Assisted by mL predictions,the compositions are further narrowed down to the space surrounded by 0.26≤x≤0.32 and 1.92≤y≤1.97 for the excellent piezomagnetic(Pm)performance in the tb_(x)Dy_(1-x)Fe_(y)based Pm device through our developed high-throughput(HtP)micromagnetic simulation(mmS)***,high sensitivities up to10.22-13.61 m t·mPa^(-1)are observed in the optimized range within which the available experimental data fall *** work not only provides valuable insights toward understanding the mechanism of magnetoelastic couplings,but also paves the way for designing and optimizing highperformance magnetostrictive materials and Pm sensing devices.

Designing cost-effective and high-performing metal catalysts is significant for many renewable energy conversion *** metal loading without sacrificing activity and durability is highly desired for the catalyst design,especially for those reactions where the noble metals deliver the best catalyzing ***-atom catalysts(SACs)with maximal metalatom utilization,homogeneous and tailorable active sites have emerged as promising catalyst candidates,where the local coordination structures of the metal atoms in SACs largely determine the reaction *** design strategies of constructing strong metal-support interactions can stabilize the individual metal atoms in SACs,but present obstacles to provide a flexible manipulation platform for elaborately tailoring the coordination structures to achieve performance optimization towards a specifically targeted ***,for the proof-of-concept study,we report a novel design of SAC with iridium(Ir)single atoms supported on conjugated polymer,in which the adsorption energies of reaction intermediates on Ir atoms and the reaction kinetics towards acidic water oxidation can be readily optimized through modulating the formed cation-πinteractions that can be tailored by adjusting the molecular structures of conjugated *** strategy establishes a general route to develop targeted SACs for various catalytic reactions.

Recently,deep learning has yielded transformative success across optics and photonics,especially in optical *** neural networks (DNNs) with a fully convolutional architecture (e.g.,U-Net and its derivatives) have been widely implemented in an end-to-end manner to accomplish various optical metrology tasks,such as fringe denoising,phase unwrapping,and fringe ***,the task of training a DNN to accurately identify an image-to-image transform from massive input and output data pairs seems at best naive,as the physical laws governing the image formation or other domain expertise pertaining to the measurement have not yet been fully exploited in current deep learning *** this end,we introduce a physics-informed deep learning method for fringe pattern analysis (PI-FPA) to overcome this limit by integrating a lightweight DNN with a learning-enhanced Fourier transform profilometry (Le FtP) *** parameterizing conventional phase retrieval methods,the Le FtP module embeds the prior knowledge in the network structure and the loss function to directly provide reliable phase results for new types of samples,while circumventing the requirement of collecting a large amount of high-quality data in supervised learning *** by the initial phase from Le FtP,the phase recovery ability of the lightweight DNN is enhanced to further improve the phase accuracy at a low computational cost compared with existing end-to-end *** results demonstrate that PI-FPA enables more accurate and computationally efficient single-shot phase retrieval,exhibiting its excellent generalization to various unseen objects during *** proposed PI-FPA presents that challenging issues in optical metrology can be potentially overcome through the synergy of physics-priors-based traditional tools and data-driven learning approaches,opening new avenues to achieve fast and accurate single-shot 3D imaging.

Accurate cropland information is critical for agricultural planning and production,especially in foodstressed countries like *** widely used medium-to-high-resolution satellite-based cropland maps have been developed from various remotely sensed data sources over the past few decades,considerable discrepancies exist among these products both in total area and in spatial distribution of croplands,impeding further applications of these *** factors influencing their inconsistency are also *** this study,we evaluated the consistency and accuracy of six cropland maps widely used in China in circa 2020,including three state-of-the-art 10-m products(i.e.,Google Dynamic World,ESRI Land Cover,and ESA WorldCover)and three 30-m ones(i.e.,GLC_FCS30,GlobeLand 30,and CLCD).We also investigated the effects of landscape fragmentation,climate,and agricultural *** using a ground-truth sample revealed that the 10-m-resolution WorldCover provided the highest accuracy(92.3%).these maps collectively overestimated Chinese cropland area by up to 56%.Up to 37%of the land showed spatial inconsistency among the maps,concentrated mainly in mountainous regions and attributed to the varying accuracy of cropland maps,cropland fragmentation and management practices such as *** work shed light on the promotion of future cropland mapping efforts,especially in highly inconsistent regions.

Combination of flexible multifunctional stealth technology properties such as electromagnetic(Em)and infrared(IR)stealth is crucial to the development of aerospace,military,and electronic fields,but the synthesis technology still has a significant ***,we have successfully designed and synthesized highly flexible mXene@cellulose lamellae/borate ion(mXCB)sheets with strong high‐temperature Em‐IR bi‐stealth through sequential bridging of hydrogen and covalent *** resultant mXCB sheets display high conductivity and good mechanical features such as flexibility,stretchability,fatigue resistance,and ultrasonic *** sheets have a high tensile strength of 795 ***,mXCB sheets with different thicknesses indicate exceptional high‐temperature thermal‐camouflage *** reduces the radiation temperature of the target object(>300°C)to 100°*** conductivity of mXCB sheet with 3μm thickness is 6108 S/cm and the Em interference(EmI)shielding value is 39.74 *** normalized surface‐specific EmI SE absolute shielding effectiveness(SSE/t)is as high as 39312.78 dB·cm2/g,which remained 99.39%even after 10,000 times repeated *** multifunctional ultrathin mXCB sheets can be arranged by vacuum‐assisted induction to develop Em‐IR bi‐stealth sheet.

High-energy density lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)with layered high-nickel oxide cathodes(LiNi_(x)Co_(y)mn_(1-x-y)O_(2),x≥0.8)show great promise in consumer electronics and vehicular ***,LiNi_(x)Co_(y)mn_(1-x-y)O_(2)faces challenges related to capacity decay caused by residual alkalis owing to high sensitivity to *** address this issue,we propose a hazardous substances upcycling method that fundamentally mitigates alkali content and concurrently induces the emergence of an anti-air-sensitive layer on the cathode *** the neutralization of polyacrylic acid(PAA)with residual alkalis and then coupling it with 3-aminopropyl triethoxysilane(KH550),a stable and ion-conductive cross-linked polymer layer is in situ integrated into the LiNi_(0.89)Co_(0.06)mn_(0.05)O_(2)(NCm)*** characterization and measurements demonstrate its *** NCm material exhibits impressive cycling performance,retaining 88.4%of its capacity after 200 cycles at 5 C and achieving an extraordinary specific capacity of 170.0 mA h g^(-1) at 10 ***,this layer on the NCm efficiently suppresses unfavorable phase transitions,severe electrolyte degradation,and CO_(2)gas evolution,while maintaining commendable resistance to air *** surface modification strategy shows widespread potential for creating air-stable LiNi_(x)Co_(y)mn_(1-x-y)O_(2)cathodes,thereby advancing high-performance LIBs.
