目前,茶叶已经成为印度尼西亚的主导农产品,给经济、社会文化和环境等方面都带来了显著的益处。在过去的10年间,印度尼西亚的茶叶产业面临着诸多挑战,涵盖了上下游问题以及在地方、国内乃至全球市场层面的多方面问题。农场和非农场茶叶产业的业绩下滑,削弱了其在全球市场上与其他产茶国相比的竞争力,同时茶叶价值链各环节的利润率也出现了失衡。与此同时,印度尼西亚国内和全球对茶叶消费的需求呈逐年增长的趋势,这不仅源于人口和居民收入的逐年增加,也源于消费者行为意识的提高,尤其是“Y一代”(“千禧一代”)和“Z一代”对健康产品、健康生活方式以及环保的关注。为了提高印度尼西亚茶叶产业和产品的竞争力,使其在未来更具可持续性,需要印度尼西亚茶叶价值链各环节得到良好的协调和治理以及从上游、下游到市场对其进行有效战略监管,并获得所有分支系统的健康茶叶商业生态系统的支撑。通过努力实施各种措施,印度尼西亚茶叶价值链将更具有韧性、竞争力和可持续性,进而有助于实现印度尼西亚茶叶产业和茶叶价值链的可持续发展目标。
