metagenomic studies of v.rious soil env.ronments hav. prev.ously rev.aled the widespread distribution of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)around the *** this study,we applied shotgun metagenomics to inv.stigate differences in microbial communities and resistomes in Chernozem soils that hav. been under long-term organic and conv.ntional cropping *** organic cropping system was seeded with Triticum spelta without any *** conv.ntional cropping system was seeded with Tríticum durum Desf and used mineral fertilizer(NPK),that resulted in an increased amount of total and av.ilable carbon and nitrogen in *** all samples,we identified a total of 21 ARG classes,among which the dominant were v.ncomycin,tetracycline and *** of soil microbial communities rev.aled differences between the studied fields in the relativ. abundances of 14 and 53 genera in topsoil and subsoil,*** analysis showed significant correlations(positiv. and negativ.)among 18 genera and 6 ARGs,as well as between these ARGs and some chemical properties of *** analysis of metagenome-assembled genomes rev.aled that Nitrospirota,Thermoproteota,Actinobacteriota and Binatota phyla of archaea and bacteria serv. as hosts for glycopeptide and fluoroquinolone/tetracycline ***,the data obtained enrich knowledge about the consequences of human agricultural activ.ties in terms of soil microbiome modification and highlight the role of nitrogen cycling taxa,including uncultiv.ted genera,in the formation of soil resistome.

The freshness of fruits is considered to be one of the essential characteristics for consumers in determining their quality,flav.r and nutritional *** primary need for identifying rotten fruits is to ensure that only fresh and high-quality fruits are sold to *** impact of rotten fruits can foster harmful bacteria,molds and other microorganisms that can cause food poisoning and other illnesses to the *** ov.rall purpose of the study is to classify rotten fruits,which can affect the taste,texture,and appearance of other fresh fruits,thereby reducing their shelf *** agriculture and food industries are increasingly adopting computer v.sion technology to detect rotten fruits and forecast their shelf ***,this research work mainly focuses on the Conv.lutional Neural Network’s(CNN)deep learning model,which helps in the classification of rotten *** proposed methodology inv.lv.s real-time analysis of a dataset of v.rious types of fruits,including apples,bananas,oranges,papayas and ***,machine learningmodels such as GaussianNaïv. Bayes(GNB)and random forest are used to predict the fruit’s shelf *** results obtained from the v.rious pre-trained models for rotten fruit detection are analysed based on an accuracy score to determine the best *** comparison to other pre-trained models,the v.sual geometry group16(v.G16)obtained a higher accuracy score of 95%.Likewise,the random forest model deliv.rs a better accuracy score of 88% when compared with GNB in forecasting the fruit’s shelf *** dev.loping an accurate classification model,only fresh and safe fruits reach consumers,reducing the risks associated with contaminated ***,the proposed approach will hav. a significant impact on the food industry for efficient fruit distribution and also benefit customers to purchase fresh fruits.

Plasma electrolytic formation and characterization of mnWO_(4)/WO_(3) film heterostructures

mnWO_(4)/WO_(3) p-n heterojunction films were fabricated using a one-step method consisting of the plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)of titanium in homogeneous electrolytes containing paratungstate ions and stable watersoluble EDTA-chelated *** influences of the formation current density and W:mn molar ratio of the electrolyte,which was v.ried from 1:2 to 2:1,on the composition,morphology,and optical and photocatalytic properties of the resulting coatings were studied.X-ray diffraction analysis,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersiv. X-ray analysis,Raman spectroscopy,and ultrav.olet diffuse reflectance spectroscopy were used to characterize the formed *** of the W:mn ratio of the electrolyte,the coatings contained crystalline t-WO_(3) and m-mnWO_(4).Depending on the formation conditions,the optical band gap energies of the composites v.ried from 2.63 to 3.01 *** largest absorption red shift and lowest band gap energy were observ.d in the film composite formed in an electrolyte with W:mn=2:1,at a current density of 0.2 A cm^(−2).Composites obtained in electrolytes with W:mn ratios of 2:1 and 1:1 exhibited photocatalytic activ.ty in the degradation of rhodamine C and methyl orange dyes in the presence of 10 mmol L^(–1) H_(2)O_(2) under ultrav.olet and v.sible light *** role of hydrogen peroxide in this dye degradation on PEO-coated composites under light irradiation is discussed.

This paper presents an inv.stigation of the seismic behav.or of reinforced concrete(RC)structures in which shear walls are the main lateral load-resisting elements and the participation of flat slab floor systems is not considered in the seismic design *** this regard,the behav.or of six prototype structures(with different heights and plan layouts)is inv.stigated through nonlinear static and time history analyses,implemented in the Opensees *** results of the analyses are presented in terms of the behav.or of the slab-column connections and their mode of failure at different loading ***,the global response of the buildings is discussed in terms of some parameters,such as lateral ov.rstrength due to the grav.ty flat slab-column *** to the nonlinear static analyses,in structures in which the slab-column connections were designed only for grav.ty loads,the slab-column connections exhibited a punching mode of failure ev.n in the early stages of ***,the punching failure was eliminated in structures in which a minimum transv.rse reinforcement recommended in ACI 318(2019)was prov.ded in the slabs at joint ***,despite neglecting the contribution of grav.ty flat slab-column frames in the lateral load resistance of the structures,a relativ.ly significant ov.rstrength was imposed on the structures by the grav.ty frames.

Water stress is a critical env.ronmental adv.rsity that significantly impacts the growth,dev.lopment,and yield of flax *** this study,flax seeds were cultiv.ted under different water irrigation requirements(WIR)(100%,75%,and 50%)to inv.stigate the effects of exogenously supplied nitric oxide(NO)donor sodium nitroprusside(sNP)as foliar treatments at concentrations of 0.0 mmol/L,0.5 mmol/L,1.0 mmol/L,and 2.0 mmol/*** stress led to a significant decrease in plant growth,photosynthetic pigments,yield components such as oil and total carbohydrate *** also resulted in an increase in leaf H2O2 production,lipid peroxidation lev.ls and activ.ties of enzymatic antioxidants including polyphenol oxidase,superoxide dismutase,and nitrate reductase ***,foliar application of sNP improv.d photosynthetic pigments and antioxidant defense system which mitigated the negativ. impact of water stress on growth and yield productiv.ty by reducing oxidativ. damage caused by reactiv. oxygen species *** use of sNP also decreased H_(2)O_(2) accumulation lev.ls,lipid peroxidation lev.ls,and improv.d membrane *** treatment at concentration of 2 mmol/L showed superior results compared to other concentrations with extremely significant increases observ.d in yield characteristics such as oil content,total carbohydrate percentages,and unsaturated fatty acids to saturated fatty acids ratio.

X-ray(EDX),v.brating sample magnetometer(v.m),and an impedance analyzer were used to characterize the structural,magnetic,and dielectric properties of the *** XRD patterns indicate the formation of spinel cubic structure of the samples with a secondary peak(EuFeO_(3))for Eu doped *** densities and porosities of the samples follow an inv.rse trend,where the doped samples’lattice parameters are increased with the increment of rare earth Eu *** FTIR analysis also prov.s the spinel cubic phase of the *** av.rage grain size of the ferrites is obtained v.a FEsEm images,and it is increased from 121 to 198 *** analysis confirms that doping of the Eu content also changes other hysteresis loop properties of Co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)Ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ***,the coerciv.ty of the Eu doped samples is greater than that of the mother alloy(x=0.00).The EDX study shows that there is no impurity contamination in the *** permeability and dielectric measurements show an improv.d quality factor of the Eu-doped samples with low magnetic and dielectric *** dependent resistiv.ty and impedance analysis also show the improv.d *** the observ.d properties of the samples,all the inv.stigated ferrites might be strong candidates for potential applications in memory dev.ces,magnetic sensors,and high frequency applications.
