An AlsiY coating and two mCrAlY+AlsiY composite coatings with different thickness of mCrAlY interlayer were prepared by arc ion plating(AIP)and vacuum *** isothermal oxidation behavior of coatings at 1100℃ for 300 h was also investigated to characterize the microstructure evolution of coatings during *** composite coatings exhibited a better high-temperature oxidation resistance at 1100℃ .The reason is that the addition of mCrAlY layer can greatly contribute to prevent the diffusion of refractory elements to the outer *** inhibition of Al inward diffusion can be much stronger,as the si content increases in the outer layer during annealing.

N,N-Diallyl methionine ethyl ester hydrochloride 5 underwent alternating copolymerization with sO_2 via the Butler cyclopolymerization protocol in dimethyl sulfoxide(DmsO) to give water-soluble cycloterpolymer 6 with a ～1:1 molar ratio of sulfide and sulfoxide groups as a result of oxygen transfer from DmsO. Half of the sulfide groups in 6, upon oxidation with H_2O_2, afforded polymer sulfoxide 7 and polymer sulfone 8. The solution properties of these polymers were determined via a viscometric technique. The thermal stability of these polymers was determined by thermogravimetric analysis. The inhibition efficiency obtained from gravimetric mass loss, potentiodynamic polarization, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy techniques agreed well with each other. The corrosion efficiencies increase with increasing concentration of the polymers. At a polymer concentration of 175 mm, the maximum inhibition efficiency of copolymer compounds 6–8 was determined to be 92%, 97%, and 95%, respectively. The synthesized polymer compounds acted as mixed-type inhibitors. Polymer compound 7 adsorbed onto the metal surface via chemisorption and physisorption and obeyed langmuir, Temkin, and Freundlich adsorption isotherms. Analyses by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy–energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy indicated that the adsorbed polymers formed a thin film on the metal surface and prevented further corrosive attack.

Atmospheric concentrations of radon（^（222）Rn） gas and its short-lived progenies^（218）Po,^（214）Pb, and^（214）Po were continuously monitored every four hours at the ground level in Jeddah city, Kingdom of saudi Arabia. The measurements were performed three times every week, starting from November 2014 to October 2015. A method of electrostatic precipitation of positively charged^（218）Po and ^（214）Po by a positive voltage was applied for determining^（222）Rn gas concentration. The short-lived^（222）Rn progeny concentration was determined by using a filter holder connected with the alpha-spectrometric technique. The meteorological parameters（relative air humidity, air temperature, and wind speed） were determined during the measurements of^（222）Rn and its progeny concentrations.^（222）Rn gas as well as its short-lived progeny concentration display a daily and seasonal variation with high values in the night and early morning hours as compared to low values at noon and in the afternoon. The observed monthly atmospheric concentrations showed a seasonal trend with the highest values in the autumn/winter season and the lowest values in the spring/summer season. moreover, and in parallel with alphaspectrometric measurements, a single filter-holder was used to collect air samples. The deposited activities of^（214）Pb and the long-lived^（222）Rn daughter ^（210）Pb on the filter were measured with the gamma spectrometric technique. The measured activity concentrations of^（214）Pb by both techniques were found to be relatively equal largely. The highest mean seasonally activity concentrations of ^（210）Pb were observed in the autumn/winter season while the lowest mean were observed in the spring/summer season. The mean residence time（mRT） of aerosol particles in the atmospheric air could be estimated from the activity ratios of ^（210）Pb/^（214）Pb.

Colouring of the austenitic stainless steel alloy （20.45% Cr, 8.57% Ni） was carried out in NaNO3-KNO3 eutectic melt without and with additions of Na2O2, NaCl and their mixtures at different temperatures ranging from 400-600℃, under open-circuit and galvanostatic anodic polarization conditions. The produced colours greatly depend on the thickness of oxide films, which in turn depends on the composition of the molten bath and its temperature. The more attractive, bright, adherent and uniform coloured oxide films can be obtained at 400, 450 and 500℃ in molten nitrate bath containing NaCl and Na2O2 mixtures. The pitting corrosion susceptibility of the coloured oxide films was tested in FeCl3 and NaCl as corrosive media. The obtained results indicate that the pitting corrosion susceptibility of the coloured oxide films greatly depends on the previous operating conditions of the colouring process of the stainless steel specimens such as the composition of molten bath, temperature and technique of colouring process.

Noise and whole-body vibration measurements were made in a Viking military vehicle to determine the variation that should be expected during repeat measures,the effect of speed(up to 60 km/h in 5 km/h increments),and during travel over different types of terrain(comprising concrete road,gravel track and rough cross-country).measurements were made at various crew positions(including the driver and commander)in both the front and the rear cabs in the *** translational axes of vibration were measured in each *** speeds were investigated over road(35 km/h and 55e60 km/h)and gravel(20 km/h and 35 km/h)*** effect of varying speed of the vehicle on the measured noise and vibration magnitudes was also *** highest sound pressure level(lAeq)of 104 dB(A)was measured at the commander’s standing position during travel over concrete road at 55 km/*** noise levels occurred for a standing commander compared with when sitting on the seat.A maximum single axis frequency-weighted vibration magnitude of 1.0 m/s^(2) *** measured on the driver’s seat during travel over track at 35 km/*** vibration magnitudes occurred during travel over track compared with travel over *** noise and vibration exposure of crew within the Viking vehicle increased with increasing speed of the vehicle.

The formation of protective multifunctional coatings on magnesium alloy mA8 using plasma electrolyt- ic oxidation （PEO） in an electrolytic system containing nanosized particles of titanium nitride was investigated. Electrochemical and mechanical properties of the obtained layers were examined. It was established that microhardness of the coating with the nanoparticle concentration of 3 gl-1 increased twofold （4.2 ± 0.5 GPa）, while wear resistance decreased （4.97 × 10-6 mm3 N-1 m-1）, as compared to re- spective values for the PEO-coating formed in the electrolyte without nanoparticles （2.1 ± 0.3 GPa, 1.12 × 10.5 mm3 N-1 m-1）.

We investigated ^(50,52-54)Cr-induced fusion reactions for the synthesis of the superheavy element in the 104≤Z≤122 *** cross sections produced in this investigation using ^(54)Cr projectiles were compared with those obtained in prior *** estimated cross sections from this analysis are consistent with the findings of prior *** the current study,the predicted cross section was found to be 42fb at 236 meV for ^(53)Cr+^(243)Am,23.2 fb at 236 meV for ^(54)Cr+^(247)Cm,95.6 fb at 240 meV for ^(53)Cr+248Bk,and 1.33 fb at 242 meV for ^(53)Cr+***,these projected cross sections with excitation energy and beam energy will be useful in future Cr-induced fusion reaction investigations.

We present a study of the dynamic behavior of a two-sublattice spin-5/2 Ising model with bilinear and crystal-field interactions in the presence of a time-dependent oscillating external magnetic field on alternating layers of a hexagonal lattice by using the Glauber-type stochastic *** lattice is formed by alternate layers of spins σ=5/2 and s=5/*** employ the Glauber transition rates to construct the mean-field dynamic ***,we investigate the time variations of the average sublattice magnetizations to find the phases in the system and then the thermal behavior of the dynamic sublattice magnetizations to characterize the nature（first-or second-order） of the phase transitions and to obtain the dynamic phase transition（DPT） *** also study the thermal behavior of the dynamic total magnetization to find the dynamic compensation temperature and to determine the type of the dynamic compensation *** present the dynamic phase diagrams,including the dynamic compensation temperatures,in nine different *** phase diagrams contain seven different fundamental phases,thirteen different mixed phases,in which the binary and ternary combination of fundamental phases and the compensation temperature or the l-type behavior strongly depend on the interaction parameters.
