multi-cyclones is commonly usedin the palm oil mill industry as particulate pollution ***,its ability in capturing particulate matter（Pm）especially the fine particulate size fraction is ***,study has been carried out to investigate and predict the performance of mR-deD uster,a multi-cyclones unit developed as particulate emission control device in palm oil mill *** mR-de Duster is intentionally developed to overcome particulate emission issue facing by industries that generate particulate especially the palm oil mill industry.A number of semi-empirical theories were used to predict the performance of mR-deD *** on the prediction,the mR-deD uster manages to capture particulate size 3.8μm at 50%particulate collection *** mR-deD uster also manages to achieve more than 90%for total particulate collection efficiency with low pressure drop.

It is common practice for data providers to include text descriptions for each column when publishing data sets in the form of data *** these documents are useful in helping an end-user properly interpret the meaning of a column in a data set,existing data dictionaries typically are not machine-readable and do not follow a common specification *** introduce the Semantic Data Dictionary,a specification that formalizes the assignment of a semantic representation of data,enabling standardization and harmonization across diverse data *** this paper,we present our Semantic Data Dictionary work in the context of our work with biomedical data;however,the approach can and has been used in a wide range of *** rendition of data in this form helps promote improved discovery,interoperability,reuse,traceability,and *** present the associated research and describe how the Semantic Data Dictionary can help address existing limitations in the related *** discuss our approach,present an example by annotating portions of the publicly available National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data set,present modeling challenges,and describe the use of this approach in sponsored research,including our work on a large National Institutes of Health(NIH)-funded exposure and health data portal and in the RPI-IBm collaborative Health Empowerment by Analytics,Learning,and Semantics project.

Potato（Solanum tuberosum） is considered as the fourth most important staple food source after rice（Oryza sativa）,maize（Zea mays） and wheat（Triticum aestivum） which is the most popular and important vegetable in *** it is frequently affected by different viruses and cause a huge yield *** known to infect potato in Bangladesh include Potato virus X（PVX）,Potato virus Y（PVY）,Potato leaf roll virus（PLRV） and Potato virus S（PVS）.Though the increasing incidence of PVX,PVY and PLRV in main potato growing areas of Bangladesh is getting an alarming position andcaused significant yield losses,no molecular study had done before this *** this research,molecular detection of potato viruses was done from the potato tuber collected from munshiganj and Jessore districts of *** detect the plant viruses,total RNAs were extracted from the virus affected potato tubers and complementary cDNAs were *** transcriptase polymerase chain reaction（RT-PCR） based detection conditions were optimized by using coat protein（CP） gene specific *** RT-PCR we found the amplified fragments of expected length for PVX,PVY,PLRV and PVS that were confirmed by subsequent *** is the first report for PVS in *** resuits will be helpful for further molecular study on PVX,PVY,PLRV and PVS and their management.

Identifying rare patterns for medical diagnosis is a challenging task due to heterogeneity and the volume of *** summarization can create a concise version of the original data that can be used for effective *** this paper,we propose an ensemble summarization method that combines clustering and sampling to create a summary of the original data to ensure the inclusion of rare *** the best of our knowledge,there has been no such technique available to augment the performance of anomaly detection techniques and simultaneously increase the efficiency of medical *** performance of popular anomaly detection algorithms increases significantly in terms of accuracy and computational complexity when the summaries are ***,the medical diagnosis becomes more effective,and our experimental results reflect that the combination of the proposed summarization scheme and all underlying algorithms used in this paper outperforms the most popular anomaly detection techniques.

This paper presents a smart checkout system designed to mitigate the issues of noise and errors present in the existing barcode and RFID-based systems used at retail stores’checkout *** is achieved by integrating a novel AI algorithm,called Improved Laser Simulator Logic(ILSL)into the RFID *** enhanced RFID system was able to improve the accuracy of item identification,reduce noise interference,and streamline the overall checkout *** potential of the systemfor noise detection and elimination was initially investigated through a simulation study usingmATLAB and ILSL ***,it was deployed in a small-scale environment to validate its real-world *** show that RFID with the proposed new algorithm ILSL and AI basket is capable of accurately detecting the related itemswhile eliminating noise originating fromunrelated objects,achieving an accuracy rate of 88%.

BACKGROUND Colorectal cancer(CRC)is a prevalent global malignancy with complex prognostic ***-associated macrophages(TAms)have shown paradoxical associations with CRC survival,particularly concerning the m2 *** We aimed to establish a simplified protocol for quantifying m2-like TAms and explore their correlation with clinicopathological *** A cross-sectional study included histopathological assessment of paraffinembedded tissue blocks obtained from 43 CRC *** CD68 and CD163 immunohistochemistry,we quantified TAms in tumor stroma and front,focusing on m2 ***,histopathological,and clinical parameters were *** TAm density was significantly higher at the tumor front,with the m2 proportion three times greater in both *** tumor front had a higher m2 proportion,which correlated significantly with advanced tumor stage(P=0.04),pathological nodal involvement(P=0.04),and lymphovascular invasion(LVI,P=0.01).However,no significant association was found between the m2 proportion in the tumor stroma and clinicopathological *** Our study introduces a simplified protocol for quantifying m2-like TAms in CRC tissue *** demonstrated a significant correlation between an increased m2 proportion at the tumor front and advanced tumor stage,nodal involvement,and *** suggests that m2-like TAms might serve as potential indicators of disease progression in CRC,warranting further investigation and potential clinical application.

The objective of this investigation is to assess the effect of obstacles on numerical heat transfer and fluid flow momentum in a rectangular microchannel(mC).Two distinct configurations were studied:one without obstacles and the other with alternating obstacles placed on the upper and lower *** research utilized the thermal lattice Boltzmann method(LBm),which solves the energy and momentum equations of fluids with the BGK approximation,implemented in a Python coding *** jump and slip velocity conditions were utilized in the simulation for the mC and extended to all obstacle *** study aims to analyze the rarefaction effect,with Knudsen numbers(Kn)of 0.012,0.02,and *** outcomes indicate that rarefaction has a significant impact on the velocity and temperature *** presence of nine obstacles led to slower fluid movement inside the microchannel mC,resulting in faster cooling at the *** mCs with obstacles,the rarefaction effect plays a crucial role in decreasing the Nusselt number(Nu)and skin friction coefficient(Cf).Furthermore,the study demonstrated that the obstacles played a crucial role in boosting fluid flow and heat transfer in the *** findings suggest that the examined configurations could have potential applications as cooling technologies in micro-electro-mechanical systems and microdevice applications.

Relationship between Seed Priming mediated Seedling Vigor and Yield Performance of Spring Wheat

Seed priming is a pre-germinated technique that can enhance seed germination percentage,faster and synchro-nized germination,better seedling growth,and yield under stress *** ascertain the most effective seed priming method that would ensure the potential yield of wheat in Bangladesh,two experiments were carried out from December 2021 to march 2022 at the Department of Agronomy,Bangladesh Agricultural *** wheat varieties namely BARI Gom-28 and BWmRI Gom-1 were subjected to a range of priming chemicals in both lab and pot *** compounds included the following:control(no priming),hydropriming(distilled water),10000 ppm KNO_(3),15000 ppm KNO_(3),40000 ppm mannitol,60000 ppm mannitol,10000 ppm NaCl,20000 ppm NaCl,100 ppm PEG,150 ppm PEG,500 ppm NaOCl,1000 ppm NaOCl,10000 ppm CaCl_(2),20000 ppm CaCl_(2),10000 ppm KCl and 20000 ppm KCl.A complete randomized design(CRD)with three repli-cations was used to set up the *** results showed that BARI Gom-28 and BWmRI Gom-1 responded best to KCl priming in terms of rapid seed germination and strong seedling *** the other hand,the best priming agents for plant growth and productivity turned out to be CaCl_(2) and *** results of this study support the possibility of using seed priming as a technique to improve wheat plant development and output by raising seed emergence and survival rates.
