Chromatic framework for quantum movies and applications in creating montages

A framework that introduces chromatic considerations to earlier descriptions of movies on quantum computers is proposed. This chromatic framework for quantum movies （CFQm） integrates chromatic components of individual frames （each a multi-channel quantum image - mCQI state） that make up the movie, while each frame is tagged to a time component of a quantum register （i.e., a movie strip）. The formulation of the CFQm framework and properties inherent to the mCQI images facilitate the execution of a cortege of carefully formulated transformations including the frame-to-frame （FTF）, color of interest （COI）, and subblock swapping （SBS） operations that are not realizable on other quantum movie formats. These innovative transformations are deployed in the creation of digital movie-like montages on the CFQm framework. Future studies could explore additional mCQI-related operations and their use to execute more advanced montage applications.

Image stabilization is a process to smooth the unstable motion vector of video sequences to achieve its stabilization. Even though the classical image stabilization techniques seem already very mature so far, similar advances have not been extended to the quantum computing domain. In this study, we explore a novel quantum video framework and make a modest attempt to perform the image stabilization based on it by utilizing the quantum comparator and quantum image translation operations. The proposed method is capable of estimating the camera motion during exposure and compensating for the video jitter caused by the motion. In addition, the quantum properties, i.e., entanglement and parallelism, ensure that the quantum image stabilization is feasible and effective. Finally, a simple experiment to stabilize a four-frame jittered quantum video is implemented using matlab based on linear algebra with complex vectors as quantum states and unitary matrices as unitary transforms to show the feasibility and merits of this proposal.

This paper proposes a new method for service restoration of distribution network with the support of transportable power sources(TPSs)and repair crews(RCs).Firstly,a coupling model of distribution networks and vehicle routing of TPSs and RCs is proposed,where the TPSs serve as emergency power supply sources,and the RCs are used to repair the faulted *** the uncertainty of traffic congestion,the probability distribution of the travel time spent on each road is derived based on the Nesterov user equilibrium model,and a two-stage stochastic program is formulated to determine the optimal routings of TPSs and *** efficiently solve the proposed stochastic mixed-integer linear program(mILP),a two-phase scenario reduction method is then developed to scale down the problem size,and an adaptive progressive hedging algorithm is used for an efficient *** effectiveness of the proposed methods and algorithms has been illustrated in a modified IEEE 33-bus system.

The sequential fusion estimation for multisensor systems disturbed by non-Gaussian but heavytailed noises is studied in this paper. Based on multivariate t-distribution and the approximate t-filter,the sequential fusion algorithm is presented. The performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed and compared with the t-filter-based centralized batch fusion and the Gaussian Kalman filter-based optimal centralized fusion. Theoretical analysis and exhaustive experimental analysis show that the proposed algorithm is effective. As the generalization of the classical Gaussian Kalman filter-based optimal sequential fusion algorithm, the presented algorithm is shown to be superior to the Gaussian Kalman filter-based optimal centralized batch fusion and the optimal sequential fusion in estimation of dynamic systems with non-Gaussian noises.

The effects of carbon dioxide content on the catalytic performance and coke formation of nickel catalyst supported on mesoporous nanocrystalline zirconia with high surface area and pure tetragonal crystalline phase were investigated in methane reforming with carbon dioxide. The samples were characterized by XRD, BET, TPR, TPO, TPH, TEm, and SEm techniques. The catalyst prepared showed high surface area and a mesoporous structure with a narrow pore size distribution. The obtained results revealed that the increase in CO2 content increased the methane conversion and stability of the catalyst and significantly reduced the coke deposition. The TPH analysis showed that several species of carbon with different reactivities toward hydrogenation were deposited on the spent catalysts employed under different CO2 contents.

In this paper,luminescence thermal quenching of m2SiO4:Eu^2+(m=Sr,Ba) orthosilicate phosphors and mechanisms for thermal quenching proposed by different authors are briefly *** on preparation conditions and/or Eu^2+-doping concentrations,the quenching temperature(T1/2) and activation energy for thermal quenching of the same orthosilicate phosphor reported by different authors are *** common conclusion is that T1/2 of the intermediate compound(Ba1-xSrx)2 SiO4:Eu^2+(x≈0.5) is higher than that of either Sr2So4;Eu^2+or Ba2SiO4;Eu^2+***,T1/2 of the best-performing SrBaSiO4:Eu^2+is evidently lower than that of YAG:Ce3+and some Eu^2+-doped nitride *** rding the quenching mechanism,most of the investigators attributed thermal quenching to a thermally assisted 4f-5d cross-over in the configuration coordinate *** a few authors ascribed thermal quenching to a thermally assisted photoionization of 5 d electron to conduction band of the ***,a close inspection of T1/2 and Stokes shift derived from the vibrational spectra of the intermediate compound and end-member phosphors indicates that the 5d electron photo ionization model instead of the 4f-5d crossing decay model should be the genuine mechanism for the thermal quenching of m2 SiO4:Eu^2+(m=Sr,Ba) *** the relationship between T1/2 and Stokes shift of the phosphors does not support the 4 f-5 d crossing decay *** ionization probability of the 5 d electron depends on the energy gap(EdC) between 5 d1 level of the Eu^2+and conduction band minimum(CBm) of the host at higher *** thermal expansion would result in an elevating 5 d1 level of the Eu^2+along with a diminishing CBm of the host and as a consequence a reduction in EdC and an enhanced photo ionization probability at elevated temperatures.A less rigid lattice and hence a larger coefficient of thermal expansion of m2SiO4 hosts should be the physical origin of poorer t

In order to achieve the target of reducing oil consumption to zero for pulverized coal(PC)boiler in power plant,the paper developed a novel coal pulverized ignition approach,called as Alternating-Current plasma(AC plasma)ignition,with the advantages of excellent PC combustion behavior and longer electrode *** scientific principle of how to generate the AC plasma arc was elaborated in ***,the experiments on life-span of electrodes inside AC plasma generator had been conducted,finding a workable way to extend its life-span beyond 530 ***,a new AC plasma burner specifically designed for lean coal according to the principle of PC staged combustion had been illustrated with diagrams and then used to ignite the PC-air stream under four kinds of conditions with a varying AC plasma power from 150 kW to 300 kW,focusing on analyses of the influence of AC plasma power on combustion behaver,such as combustion temperature,carbon burnout rate as well as PC combustion *** following results showed that in the case of the power of the AC plasma was P=300 kW,a satisfied PC combustion process could achieved,with the average PC combustion temperature of about 940°C,combustion flame length of 6.3 m,and the total carbon burnout rate of up to 52.2%.In addition,about 80%of the nozzle outlet section was filled with bright flame,while 81%of the PC was in zone of the cylindrical flame *** PC combustion modes were changed repeatedly during the process of combustion,which went from homogeneous combustion mode at initial ignition stage to combined combustion mode and heterogeneous combustion mode at middle stage,finally to combined combustion mode at later *** research conclusion in this paper has proved that the AC plasma ignition approach is feasible and effective to ignite low-rank coal without the present of fuel oil.

Perovskite single crystals have gained enormous attention in recent years due to their facile synthesis and excellent optoelectronic properties including the long carrier diffusion length,high carrier mobility,low trap density,and tunable absorption edge ranging from ultra-violet(UV)to near-infrared(NIR),which offer potential for applications in solar cells,photodetectors(PDs),lasers,*** this review,we summarized the synthesis,properties,and applications of organic-inorganic mixed and all-inorganic perovskite single crystals,particularly those through the solution synthesis *** towards the crystal growth and stability with future perspectives were also briefly described at the end of this paper.
