Objective:To isolate and indentify the promising antimicrobial metabolite producing Streptomyces strains from marine sediment samples from Andraprudesh coast of ***:Antagonistic aetinomycetes were isolated by starch casein agar medium and modified nutrient agar medium with 1%glucose used as a base for primary *** antimicrobial metabolite producing strains were selected and identified by using biochemical and 16S rDNA *** inhibitory concentrations of the organic extracts were done by using broth micro dilution ***:Among the 210 actinomyeetes,64.3%exhibited activity against Gram positive bacteria,48.5%showed activity towards Cram negative bacteria,38.8%exhibited both Cram positive and negative bacteria and 80.85%isolates revealed significant antifungal ***,five isolates AP-5,AP-18,AP-41 and AP-70 showed significant antimicrobial *** analysis of cell wall hydrolysates showed the presence of LL-diaminopimelic acid and glycine in all the *** analysis indicated that the isolates shared 98.5%-99.8%sequence identity to the 16S rDNA gene sequences of the Streptomyces *** antimicrobial substances were extracted using hexane and ethyl acetate from spent medium in which strains were cultivated at 30X for five *** antimicrobial activity was assessed using broth micro dilution *** of the culture extracts from these five strains showed a typical polyenelike *** lowest minimum inhibitory concentrations of ethyl acetate extracts against Escherichia coli and Cumularia lunula were 67.5 and 125.0μg/mL,***:It can be concluded that hexane and ethyl acetate soluble extracellular products of novel isolates are effective against pathogenic bacteria and fungi.

Objective:To elucidate the key parameters associated with hydrogen peroxide induced oxidative stress and investigates the mechanism of trigonelline(TG)for reducing the H_2O_2induced toxicity in H9c2 ***:Cytotoxicity and antioxidant activity of TG was assessed by EZ-CYTOX *** extraction and cDNA synthesized according to the kit manufacture *** was measured by the Flowcytometry,general PCR and ***:It was found that the TG significantly rescued the morphology of the H9c2 *** of cells with TG attenuated H_2O_2 induced cell deaths and improved the antioxidant *** addition,TG regulated the apoptotic gene caspase-3,caspase-9 and anti-apoptotic gene ***-XL during H_2O_2 induced oxidative stress in H9c2 *** results were comparable with quercetin *** evident,flow cytometer results also confirmed the TG significantly reduced the H_2O_2 induced necrosis and apoptosis in H9c2 ***,further increment of TG concentration against H_2O_2 could induce the necrosis and apoptosis along with H_2O_***:It is suggested that less than 125μm of TG could protect the cells from H_2O_2 induced cell damage by down regulating the caspases and up regulating the Bcl-2 and Bcl-XL ***,we suggest the trigonelline could be useful for treatment of oxidative stress mediated cardiovascular diseases in future.

We present the results obtained from extensive near-infrared （IR） spectro- scopic and photometric observations of the Be/X-ray binary A0535＋262/HDE 245770 at different phases of its - 111 d orbital period. This observation campaign is part of the monitoring program of selective Be/X-ray binary systems aimed at understanding X-ray and near-IR properties at different orbital phases, especially during the perias- tron passage of the neutron star. The near-IR observations presented here were carried out using the 1.2 m telescope at the mt. Abu IR Observatory. Though the source was relatively faint for spectroscopic observations with the 1.2 m telescope, we monitored the source closely during the 2011 February-march giant X-ray outburst to primarily investigate whether any drastic changes in the near-IR JHK spectra took place at the periastron passage. Changes of such a striking nature were expected to be detectable in our spectra. Photometric observations of the Be star show a gradual and systematic fading in the JHK light curves since the onset of the X-ray outburst, which could suggest a mild evacuation/truncation of the circumstellar disk of the Be companion. Near-IR spectroscopy of the object shows that the JHK spectra are dominated by the emission lines of hydrogen Brackett and Paschen series and HeI lines at 1.0830, 1.7002 and 2.0585 μm. The presence of all the hydrogen emission lines in the JHK spectra, along with the absence of any significant change in the continuum of the Be companion during X-ray quiescent and X-ray outburst phases, suggests that the near- IR line emitting regions of the disk are not significantly affected during the X-ray outburst.

摘要目的对比乳腺癌保守治疗后,每半年行一次同侧乳腺钼靶检查者与未按要求做定期随访观察的病人间癌症复发率的差异。材料与方法本研究符合HIPAA法案,回顾性分析了诊断数据库中1997—2008年期间行保乳治疗的病人资料,由于其被认为质量有保证,所以无需通过伦理委员会。按照要求保乳治疗后的病人同侧乳腺5年内每半年做一次乳腺钼靶检查的依从性进行分组。依从性好定义为一次检查间隔时间在0～9个月(两次检查间隔大于3个月)。依从性差定义为检查时间间隔在9～18个月。

Dear Editor,The atypical chemokine receptor ACKR3 has recently been reported to act as an opioid scavenger with unique negative regulatory properties towards different families of opioid ***,we show that conolidine,a natural analgesic alkaloid used in traditional Chinese medicine,targets ACKR3,thereby providing additional proof of a correlation between ACKR3 and pain modulation and opening alternative therapeutic avenues for the treatment of chronic pain.

ZnxCd1-xS solid solutions with controlled morphology have been successfully synthe-sized by a facile solution-phase method. The prepared samples were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectra, X-ray photoelec-tron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEm) and transmission elec-tron microscopy (TEm). The photocatalytic activity of ZnxCd1-xS was evaluated in the 2,4,6-trichlorophenol (TCP) degradation and mineralization in aqueous solution under direct solar light illumination. The experiment demonstrated that TCP was effectively degraded by more than 95% with 120 min. The results show that ZnS with Cd doping (ZnxCd1-xS) exhibits the much stronger visible light adsorption than that of pure ZnS, the light adsorption increasing as the Cd2+ doping amount. These results indicate that Cd doping into a ZnS crystal lattice can result in the shift of the valence band of ZnS to a positive direction. It may lead to its higher oxidative ability than pure ZnS, which is important for organic pollutant degradation under solar light irradiation. Further-more, the photocatalytic activity studies reveal that the prepared ZnxCd1-xS nanostructures exhibit an excellent photocatalytic performance, degrading rapidly the aqueous 2,4,6-trichlorophenol solution under solar light irradiation. These results sug-gest that ZnxCd1-xS nanostructure will be a promising candidate of photocatalyst working in solar light range.
